Hyderabad: The sacred Chandi Kubera Pasupathi Yagam concluded on Wednesday in the state capital with the solemn Poornahuti ceremony, marking the ritual's spiritual climax. Conducted with deep devotion and reverence, the event drew hundreds of participants from across Telangana. Former ministers and notable dignitaries joined the final rituals, with Delhi-based spiritual and political leader Samudrala Venugopala Chary gracing the Rudra Pasupathi ceremony as chief guest. His presence added spiritual gravitas and national attention to the event. Organized under the leadership of Vasudeva Sharma, President of the State Archaka Federation, the yagam was celebrated as a spiritually and culturally significant occasion. It was performed with heartfelt prayers seeking peace, prosperity, timely rains, robust harvests, and the overall welfare of the people of Telangana. Prominent among those who joined the Yagnya included Tapala Venkatadri Charyulu, State Secretary; Anna Vajjula Sharma; and district representatives such as Chakravarti Charyulu from Jogulamba Gadwal. Others, including Lakshmikantacharyulu, Mahesh, and Ravi, played active roles in the rituals. Priests from numerous villages and mandals also participated, enriching the event with traditional knowledge and spiritual offerings. The organizing committee extended sincere thanks to all volunteers, priests, and supporters. Certificates of appreciation were awarded to individuals who contributed selflessly to the smooth execution of the multi-day event. This culmination of the Chandi Kubera Pasupathi Yagam not only stood as a profound spiritual occasion but also as a unifying force for public well-being and social harmony across the state.

Gadwal: Jogulamba Gadwal District Collector B.M. Santosh has directed medical staff to remain available at all times and ensure better healthcare services at Primary Health Centres (PHCs). He made these remarks during a surprise inspection of the Primary Health Centre–Ayushman Arogya Mandir in Upperu village, located in Dharur Mandal, on Tuesday. During the inspection, the Collector thoroughly reviewed various hospital records, including the attendance register, delivery register, stock register, and other relevant documentation. He instructed the medical staff to maintain all registers with complete and accurate information. He also inquired about the daily outpatient footfall and inpatient details to assess the hospital's operational efficiency. The Collector stressed that medical personnel must be available at the PHCs at all times and adhere strictly to punctuality and duty schedules. Highlighting the importance of public trust in government healthcare, he advised creating greater awareness among the public about the facilities available at government hospitals. He urged that normal deliveries be conducted in public hospitals and that the number of institutional deliveries be increased significantly. To enhance maternal care, the Collector instructed that a delivery calendar be prepared in accordance with each pregnant woman's expected delivery date. He emphasized the timely provision of all necessary medical facilities and committed to allocating an ambulance for the area soon to handle emergency medical situations. With the ongoing monsoon season, he instructed health officials to implement preventive measures against the spread of seasonal diseases. The pharmacist was asked to ensure proper monitoring of medicine stocks and maintain availability at all times. Further, he stressed that vaccinations must be administered strictly as per the immunization schedule. All medical staff were told to carry out their responsibilities with complete dedication to improve the quality of healthcare services in the region. The inspection was attended by District Medical and Health Officer Dr. Siddappa, along with doctors Raju, Krishnaveni, and other health staff.

Gadwal: Jogulamba Gadwal District Superintendent of Police, Sri T. Srinivasa Rao, IPS, has appealed to the public not to panic if they lose their mobile phones, but to immediately lodge a complaint through the CEIR (Central Equipment Identity Register) Portal. He assured that police officials will take prompt action to trace and recover the lost or stolen phones and return them to their rightful owners. In a recent event, SP T. Srinivasa Rao handed over 52 recovered mobile phones to their respective owners in the district. Speaking on the occasion, he emphasized that while there's no need to panic when a phone is lost or stolen, people must also remain vigilant and avoid carelessness. He stated that special units have been formed in each police station in the district to deal with lost and stolen mobile phone complaints. So far this year, 853 complaints have been registered on the CEIR portal from the district, out of which 413 phones have been traced. Among these, 260 mobile phones have already been recovered and handed over to the owners. He further added that to combat the increasing number of mobile phone thefts, the Department of Telecommunications has launched the CEIR portal, which is proving to be an effective tool in locating and recovering lost phones. The SP urged citizens to immediately block their lost or stolen mobile phones through the CEIR portal ( and report the incident at their nearest police station. DSP Mogilayya and other police personnel were present at the event.

In this context, Cyber Security Bureau CI Raju from Jogulamba Gadwal emphasized that hope and greed are the biggest assets for cybercriminals, and people should remain cautious and vigilant in the digital space. Under the guidance of District SP T. Srinivasa Rao, a Cyber Awareness Day program was conducted on Wednesday at Kottam College, Gadwal town. As part of this initiative, CI Raju addressed the students and highlighted the latest cyber threats and the importance of cyber hygiene. Key Highlights from CI Raju's Address: People should be cautious and not fall victim to cyber scams driven by emotional traps like greed or false promises. He explained how cybercriminals are now exploiting government schemes such as PM Kisan Yojana by circulating malicious APK files via WhatsApp. If users download and open these files, their phones can be hacked, leading to financial loss. He warned students about fraudulent schemes like: JUMPED deposit schemes Digital arrest threats Investment scams Cyberbullying Important Advice to the Public: Never share OTPs (One-Time Passwords), even if the caller claims to be a government official or bank representative. Banks do not ask for OTPs or send clickable links via SMS or email. Inform family members and others in your household about these scams. If there is any suspicion, verify directly at your bank instead of responding over the phone. Do not click on unknown links, especially those received from unknown numbers via SMS, WhatsApp, or Twitter, even if they appear in blue-colored hyperlinks. Simple mistakes can lead to losing hard-earned money, so it is important to act responsibly and not impulsively. Reporting Cyber Crimes: CI Raju urged that any victim of cybercrime should immediately call the national cyber helpline 1930 or file a complaint on the NCRP portal ( He assured that the local police station will take prompt action, increasing the chances of recovering the lost money.
