Boat capsizes off Indonesia's Mentawai islands, 11 people missing
JAKARTA (Reuters) -Indonesian rescuers were searching for 11 people missing after a boat capsized in bad weather off the Mentawai Islands in West Sumatra province, the local search and rescue agency said on Tuesday. Eight people had been rescued after the incident, which happened on Monday at around 11 a.m. (0400 GMT), the rescue agency said in a statement. (Reporting by Ananda Teresia; Editing by John Mair)

ASEAN leaders call for Myanmar dialogue and ceasefire expansion
(Reuters) -Leaders of Southeast Asian countries on Tuesday urged all parties in conflict-torn Myanmar to expand a temporary ceasefire and build trust towards convening an inclusive dialogue. "We encouraged all relevant stakeholders in Myanmar to build trust towards convening an inclusive national dialogue by continuing to reach out to parties concerned in a sustainable manner, with the aim of achieving a durable peaceful resolution to the crisis," said a statement by leaders of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations bloc, who are meeting in Kuala Lumpur. Malaysia puts anti-dumping duties on some flat-rolled iron, non-alloy steel products
KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's Trade Ministry on Tuesday said it had imposed definitive anti-dumping duties on imports from China, India, Japan, and South Korea of flat-rolled products of iron or non-alloy steel that are clad, plated or coated with tin. Anti-dumping duties of 27.88 per cent will be imposed on imports from India, while Chinese shipments will face rates ranging from 4.48 per cent to 20.42 per cent, the Investment, Trade and Industry Ministry said in a statement. Japanese shipments will be subject to rates ranging from 15.74 per cent to 36.8 per cent, while products sourced from South Korea will face duties ranging from 21.6 per cent to 35.43 per cent. The ministry said the government decided on the rates after an investigation. It said the anti-dumping duties took effect on May 11, and will last for five years. Indonesia, Qatar to create $4 bln joint fund investing in Indonesia
JAKARTA: Sovereign wealth fund Danantara Indonesia said it will form a $4 billion joint fund with the Qatar Investment Authority that will focus on investment in Southeast Asia's largest economy. The fund will focus on projects in downstream industries, or industries that process Indonesian commodities, as well as renewables and health facilities and other relevant sectors, such as technology, Danantara said in a statement on Tuesday.
