Daily Affirmation for July 24, 2025 to Kickstart Your Vibe
💫 Vibe Check: Feeling like life's on a loop and you're not getting anywhere fast? Same. But today's mood is a gentle nudge to stop measuring your worth by how 'productive' you've been. Growth isn't always loud. Sometimes it's in the rest. The pause. The quiet changes no one sees but you. 🧘♀️ Why This Works: We live in a world that glorifies the hustle — but real growth takes time. This affirmation reminds you that progress doesn't need to be flashy to be valid. Every small step, every soft boundary, every mindful breath counts. You're evolving. Trust that. 🌿 Your Mini Mission: Reconnect with your inner rhythm. Try this: – Write a note to your past self, thanking them for getting you here. – Do one thing slowly today — walking, eating, even scrolling. Feel the difference. – Say this out loud when impatience hits: 'I am blooming at my own speed.' 🎧 Gentle Growth Playlist: For days when you're growing through what you're going through: 'Slow Dancing in a Burning Room' – John Mayer 'Almost (Sweet Music)' – Hozier 'In My Room' – Frank Ocean 'Line Without a Hook' – Ricky Montgomery 'Work Song' – Hozier 🔮 Bonus Energy Tip: Repot a plant. Seriously. It's a small act with big symbolism — giving roots more space to grow. And maybe, just maybe, it's time to do the same for yourself.

Scheana Shay details ‘awkward' hook-up with TV star: ‘It was a one and done'
He did not drive her crazy. Scheana Shay doesn't have the fondest memories of her brief fling with TV heart-throb Adrian Grenier. 'I did not date him,' the Vanderpump Rules star first clarified of the Entourage actor in an exclusive interview with SiriusXM's Page Six Radio on Tuesday. 'It was a one-time, little thing at the Mondrian. A one and done. But, it wasn't fully done because it was just — it was a little awkward.' Shay said after the hook-up, she thought to herself, 'This is not Vinny Chase,' referencing Grenier's Entourage character, who was a suave and successful Hollywood actor. The Bravo star further explained that it was the actor's 'energy' that seemed off during their date, adding, 'We were not on the same wavelength.' She shared that he tried talking to her about a band he is in with his brothers and showed her one of their music videos, but it 'wasn't really [her] vibe.' Grenier, 49, is one of nearly a dozen celebs Shay had romances with, as she reveals in her memoir, My Good Side. She writes in the book, 'Jesse Metcalfe, Eddie Cibrian, John Mayer, Shemar Moore, Josh Hopkins, Shane West, Jesse McCartney, JC Chasez, Adrian Grenier, Ricardo Chavira, William Tell, two actors from The Notebook, and a few NFL, NBA, and MLB players, to name a few.' Prior to her memoir's release, Shay, 40, had been outspoken about her past dalliance with Mayer, 47. However, the Your Body Is a Wonderland crooner reportedly tried to deny it to pal Andy Cohen. 'I mean, I'm sure John doesn't love being a storyline on VPR,' Shay said in response on her Scheananigans podcast in April 2024 before pointing out that she doubted his denial was even true. 'But where did he deny this? Because I'm pretty sure it was the Sun who made that claim. It looks like they just made this up.' Aside from juicy hook-up revelations, Shay's new book also exposes shocking details about her life. The Valley star discloses in it that her husband, Aussie trainer Brock Davies, had an affair when she was pregnant.

Ed Sheeran Goes Hard Rock On New Collab With Dave Grohl And John Mayer
Ed Sheeran is having a crack at rock stardom, unleashing a gritty new riff-fuelled song dubbed 'Drive'. And he's brought along some heavy-hitting passengers along for the ride — none other than Dave Grohl on drums and John Mayer on guitar. The all-star collab is part of the soundtrack for the upcoming F1 movie, a high-octane Formula 1 flick starring Brad Pitt, which hits Aussie cinemas next Thursday, 26th June. Swapping acoustic ballads for bluesy Audioslave-esque riffs and raspy vocals, Sheeran leans into his most gravel-throated tone yet, belting out the anthemic hook: 'Pedal down and driiiiiiiiive.' It's part rock revival, part stadium sing-along — and tbh it kinda rips? Ed Sheeran – 'Drive' Produced by Blake Slatkin and Mayer himself, 'Drive' also features Foo Fighters keyboardist Rami Jaffee and bass legend Pino Palladino. Sheeran first teased the track last month on his Insta Story, promoting its appearance on the F1 movie soundtrack. It won't appear on his upcoming new album, Play (due out Friday, 12th September), which includes previous singles 'Azizam', 'Sapphire', and 'Old Phone'. Meanwhile, it's another day, another blockbuster collab for Grohl, who's been racking up soundtrack credits lately — including a recent feature on 'I Feel Alive' for The Minecraft Movie. Foo Fighters are also gearing up for a global return in 2025, with dates locked in across Singapore, Indonesia, Japan, and Mexico (no Australia yet but we'll keep you looped). The F1: The Album soundtrack lands next Friday alongside the film and boasts a stacked tracklist with contributions from Rosé, Tate McRae, Raye, Burna Boy, Roddy Ricch, Dom Dolla, Chris Stapleton, Tiësto, Sexyy Red and more.
