Shock death rocks Emmerdale after Cain Dingle calls a truce with Tracy Robinson over Nate's murder
A SHOCK death has rocked Emmerdale as John Sugden's reign of terror continues. The murderer - who is played by actor Oliver Farnworth in the ITV soap - killed Nate Robinson last year and has been desperate to keep it a secret. 4 4 4 Now with the two main suspects - Nate's wife Tracy and his dad Cain - realising neither of them did it and teaming up together to find who did, he's been forced to take drastic action. And in today's episode, John seemingly found a way out when he was sent on a home visit and found Owen unconscious. Viewers know John had stopped Owen from drugging and raping his brother Robert Sugden a while ago. The would-be rapist was slumped on his sofa surrounded by booze and clearly in need of help. But instead of helping him, John decided he would be more useful dead. He watched as Owen lay helpless, and then took his computer and began typing something - before cleaning up the scene and removing all evidence of his being there. Even being interrupted by Liam didn't stop him - and he carried on, letting the doctor think Owen was alone. 'Congratulations,' he said to an unconscious Owen. 'You're finally useful.' Later at the surgery, John plead ignorance when Liam discovered they had both been sent to Owen's house. Emmerdale drops major clue about Nate Robinson's sudden disappearance – and it's not looking good Liam said he would return to check on him - with John agreeing and subtly disposing of the evidence of his own crime. But will it be enough to frame Owen for Nate's murder? Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV and is available to watch from 7am on YouTube and ITVPlayer. 4

Emmerdale legend SACKED as rival blackmails boss into driving him out of the village
AN Emmerdale legend is brutally sacked next week - after a scheming rival blackmails their boss into forcing them out of the village. The shock twist leaves residents reeling as the long-time character is shown the door in a savage power move that could change everything. 5 5 Dodgy John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) has finally shown his true colours in Emmerdale - by plotting to get rid of his own brother Robert (Ryan Hawley) just days after his shock return. Robert rocked up in the village after being released from prison, determined to reconnect with his family - but not everyone gave him a warm welcome. And it didn't take long for tensions to explode, with John secretly threatening his brother before his release… and now dragging Caleb (William Ash) into a sneaky revenge plan. But things quickly turned sour as Robert tried to warn sister Vic (Isabel Hodgins) to steer clear of John - only for her to brush it off, accusing him of being jealous. Despite the drama, Robert tried to keep his head down and even landed a trial shift at Caleb's depot - much to the fury of John and Aaron (Danny Miller), who clearly didn't want him back. In tonight's (Monday) episode, Robert rocked up late for his first day but managed to impress Caleb by name-dropping a few handy business contacts - proving he still knows how to hustle in the Dales. During his lunch break, Robert was none the wiser as Caleb opened the door to a furious John, who stormed in still raging about his brother's return. Fuming that Robert had been given a shot at the depot, John told Caleb he refused to work alongside him - but when pushed for a proper reason, he had nothing to offer. Instead, John played dirty - and pulled out the big guns. Reminding Caleb that he helped cover up the murder of Anthony Fox earlier this year, John coldly said he owed him… and it was time to cash in. Emmerdale fans left fuming as they point out huge Robert Sugden blunder To Caleb, it was a dirty move - but to viewers, it was classic John. With no other option, Caleb backed down and spun a lie that brought Robert's trial to an abrupt end. But Robert wasn't fooled. After a sly remark from Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson), he clocked that Caleb had been forced to dump him - and he knew exactly who was behind it. Shock DNA twist for Emmerdale villain as Robert Sugden actor Ryan Hawley drops bombshell
A SHOCK DNA twist could be about to rock Emmerdale amid the ongoing Sugden family drama. Ever since he arrived back on the ITV soap opera, Robert Sugden has showed no sign of slowing down when it comes to creating chaos with every twist and turn. 4 4 Now, actor Ryan Hawley has teased that there could be a shocking twist in the Sugden clan that nobody could have foreseen coming. In a new interview, the star has suggested that John Sugden - Robert's half-brother and his ex Aaron's new husband - may not even be a Sugden at all. Speaking to WhatToWatch recently, the actor said: "I'm not even sure he's 100% sure he is his brother. Is he? "John has even said he's an imposter, so it's quite complicated. "But as for their relationship, there is a lot to explore as the story goes on." John is believed to be the long-lost son of Jack Sugden and therefore a half-sibling to Robert, Victoria and Andy. The only details about John's mother are that her name is Barbara and she had an illicit romance with Jack. Robert made a shock comeback earlier this month and has now even begun to cause chaos from prison. Despite originally aiming to stop Aaron and John from getting married, he was soon hauled back to jail after missing a probation meeting. It was later revealed that Aaron made the call after he admitted he could not trust himself knowing that Robert was roaming free. But fans were soon left calling out an Emmerdale blunder with the amount of prison visits that Robert appeared to be getting. Having already seen Victoria, the following day he was able to secure two last-minute visits. One in the morning with his ex-husband Aaron and then another in the afternoon with John. Picking up on this unrealistic occurrence, one fan wrote online: "How can Robert have 3 visitors in 2 days? Surely it doesn't work like this #Emmerdale." Someone else penned: "Ffs how many visiting orders does Robert get." Another highlighted the truth of the real jail system as they wrote: "How are they getting to visit Robert every day , real life your lucky to get once a month and definitely not three separate people." 4 4
