The singer joins the class of 2025 which includes fellow musician Josh Groban and actresses Demi Moore and Molly Ringwald. The announcement comes after the release of her latest album, Something Beautiful, which happens to also contain a track referencing the famous boulevard. 'To now be cemented on this legendary boulevard, surrounded by the icons who inspired me, feels like a dream.' Cyrus thanked the many people who helped her throughout her career, before writing: 'This moment will live forever. Thank you to everyone in my life who made it possible.' The announcement almost feels like life imitating art: Cyrus' latest album, Something Beautiful, contained the track 'Walk of Fame,' a direct reference to the famous stretch in Hollywood, with the promotional video capturing the singer lying across various stars across the boulevard. It was announced that the 32-year-old will be receiving a star on Los Angeles' iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame in a press conference that took place on Wednesday morning. First installed in 1960, these stars are monuments to achievement in the entertainment industry, honoring the industry's best musicians, actors, producers, directors, theatrical/musical groups, athletes, fictional characters and more. Other honorees in the Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2026 include Josh Groban, The Clark Sisters, Emily Blunt, Timothée Chalamet, Demi Moore, Shaquille O'Neal and more. The Disney Channel starlet went to X to post her gratitude for the honor. "Honored to be receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The Hollywood Walk of Fame has unveiled its Class of 2025–26, announcing 35 deserving honorees spanning music, film, television, theater, and sports entertainment. Among the notable inductees are global music icon Miley Cyrus, Grammy winners Josh Groban, Lyle Lovett, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, The Clark Sisters, Intocable, and Angélique Kidjo. Film and TV luminaries include Oscar-winning actors Timothée Chalamet, Rami Malek, and Marion Cotillard—recognized for their portrayals of Bob Dylan, Freddie Mercury, and Edith Piaf respectively. Brat Pack members Demi Moore and Molly Ringwald will also be celebrated, alongside screen veterans Emily Blunt, Rachel McAdams, Franco Nero, Deepika Padukone, and Stanley Tucci. Television will be represented by creators and performers such as Greg Daniels, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Lucero, Gordon Ramsay (celebrity chef), Melody Thomas Scott, Bradley Whitford, Noah Wyle, and the duo Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos with a double ceremony. At the event in Anaheim, Calif., Cyrus appeared emotional onstage as she became the youngest person to receive the honor.
