TV star accidentally flashed Jude Law in backstage mishap

Alyssa Farah Griffin confessed she once accidentally flashed two-time Academy Award nominee Jude Law backstage during a discussion on The View about 'embarrassing personal malfunctions.' 'This isn't quite the same, but I accidentally flashed my underwear to Jude Law backstage once,' she recalled as the show's hosts chatted about LeAnn Rimes' teeth falling out during a recent performance. 'My mic pack fell down my dress so at commercial I run back [stage]' for help from an audio tech, she divulged during Thursday's episode of the ABC talk show. 'I flashed up my skirt so she could help me move it, and Jude Law's just standing there,' she continued. 'And then in my embarrassment — he just says nothing — I go, 'I'm sorry, sir!' Like, I made it worse by calling him sir! And then I maybe curtsied! It was brutal.' Griffin's co-hosts Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines and Ana Navarro giggled hysterically and gasped over the jaw-dropping confession. It's unclear exactly when the mishap took place, though Law did make an appearance on the popular ABC talk show back in November. Meanwhile, Haines shared footage of a cringe-worthy on-camera moment during a 2013 appearance on Good Morning America. In the clip, Haines attempted a faux-faint into the arms of a man dressed as Spider-Man — but instead brushed past his arm and fell to the floor. 'I had a moment once on-air,' Haines recalled, adding that there had been 'rehearsals' before the shocking blunder. 'I was with Spider-Man, and [producers] said, 'Oh, you should do something damsel in distress-y,' she continued. 'And so we rehearse, rehearse, rehearse,' Haines continued. 'We went live, and it just didn't go as planned.' She added that tragically — even after three successful attempts — 'It was only the time cameras were watching that he missed me.' Despite the dramatic blunders, Behar pointed out earlier in the episode that such moments aren't unheard of. 'How many of you have ever experienced an embarrassing personal malfunction?' Behar asked the audience, encouraging them to 'clap' if they had. 'The whole audience?' she marvelled. 'Wow, it must be very common.'

‘The View' co-host Joy Behar wants Trump's Iran strikes 'to have been successful'

Print Close By Gabriel Hays Published June 26, 2025 Fierce anti-Trump personality Joy Behar told her co-hosts on "The View" Thursday that she wants President Donald Trump to be successful in debilitating Iran's nuclear weapons program. While discussing the feud between Trump and the press over coverage of his ordered strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities last Saturday, the co-host admitted she wanted Trump to have succeeded because of the threat a nuclear-armed Iran would pose to the world. "I personally would like it to have been successful," she said. TRUMP THRASHES CNN AS 'GUTLESS LOSERS' FOR COVERAGE OF US STRIKES ON IRAN Behar's statement came after she played clips of Trump calling CNN and MSNBC "scum" for reporting that the strikes may not have done as much damage as intended, according to leaked early intelligence estimates that have been harshly criticized by administration officials as misleading. Earlier this week, a handful of media outlets cast doubt on administration assertions that the strikes fully destroyed the Iranian facilities, including CNN publishing an exclusive Tuesday claiming, "US strikes on Iran did not destroy nuclear sites," while the New York Times reported the Fordow nuclear facility was "severely damaged" but not "destroyed." Behar weighed in, first rebuking Trump for blasting the media. "First of all, why does he call them scum? Why does he have to do that – speak like that? It's so not presidential," she said. Behar went on to wonder if Trump was spinning the success of the strikes before an accurate assessment of the damage could be made. TRUMP ADDRESSES NATION ON 'SPECTACULAR MILITARY SUCCESS' OF US STRIKES ON IRANIAN NUCLEAR FACILITIES "Anyway, this was just a preliminary report and Trump's CIA director is backing their claim that the damage was severe. But if Trump was already – had made up his mind about this – he already made up his mind before he knew, and we knew what really happened. So is he obliterating the truth?" Despite bashing his behavior, Behar admitted she hoped Trump's attacks did destroy Iran's nuclear weapons program because of how dangerous the Iranian regime is. "I think Iran, a rogue state like that, having a nuclear bomb – I've been worrying about nuclear war since I'm a child hiding under a desk," she said. "I mean, I used to say, 'Why do I have to take my library books back? We're all going to die anyway.' That's when I was a child. So, I hope — I wanted him to be successful, but he lies so much that you never know what the truth is." "Seventy-nine percent of Americans agree that Iran shouldn't have a nuclear weapon," she said. "There's obviously debate over these strikes. Many people oppose the strikes, but I would say this, if they were successful, that is the most likely outcome to keeping us from getting into a bigger war with Iran." The View's Joy Behar sparks war with MAGA women over her bold claims about the 'ladies Trump likes'

The View host Joy Behar boldly claimed that Donald Trump hates 'strong women,' despite the president placing several in key cabinet positions. The 82-year-old comedienne made the comment on Wednesday's show while discussing Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez 's recent response to Trump slamming her as 'one of the dumbest people in Congress.' 'Mr. President, don't take your anger out on me - I'm just a silly girl,' Ocasio-Cortez, 35, said in a self-filmed video. Behar dove into the feud on Wednesday, offering her own take on the president's preferences. 'So, you know, my experience with him, and my observation of him, is he really doesn't really like strong women. He likes beautiful, obedient women who compliment him,' she stated. 'So, he's not going to like [AOC],' Behar added later. 'Somehow, this type of woman really gets in his kishkas.' Co-host Sunny Hostin, 56, would also get in on the action. 'Well, he projects too also, right?' the former federal prosecutor chimed in. 'He's calling her dumb and unqualified. Come on.' The hosts didn't mention any of the women Trump appointed to high-profile roles in his administration, including Attorney General Pam Bondi, Homeland Defense Secretary Kristi Noem, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, among others. Behar relayed her own experiences with Trump to try to make her point. 'Even back in the day when I used to do jokes about his hair, you know - but every male every male comedian did jokes about his hair, but he went after me in particular,' she said. Behar did ask Hostin if she believed young Democrats like AOC had any success connecting with people. 'I think absolutely,' Hostin said, before pointing to New York's mayoral primary, where voters picked Democratic socialist Zohran Mamdani over former Governor Andrew Cuomo. 'I think you need to be an opposition party at this point in this country,' she added. 'And so, I think Democrats are finding their way with these younger voices.' Behar's remarks came a couple weeks after she awkwardly paused the show's conversation about riots in Los Angeles to talk up Governor Gavin Newsom's good looks. 'Gavin Newsom brings me back to really handsome presidents,' she said, also mentioning 'JFK and Obama.' 'Wouldn't it be nice to have an articulate gorgeous president like that again?' The View hosts didn't mention any of the women Trump appointed to high-profile roles in his administration, including Attorney General Pam Bondi, Homeland Defense Secretary Kristi Noem and White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt Pictured, the Truth Social post that stated the tiff, where Trump took aim at the rising Democrat Last month, top brass at ABC News and its parent company Disney were said have asked the ladies to dial back their complaining about Trump. The talk show has been filled with criticisms of the commander-in-chief and his policies, with mostly kind words for Democrats. The show's usual moderator, Whoopi Goldberg, came under fire last week for comparing life as a black American to living under Iran's authoritarian regime.

Joy Behar mocked for 'ridiculous' claim Trump doesn't like 'strong women'

"The View" host Joy Behar criticized the women in President Donald Trump's life, claiming he surrounds himself with women who stroke his ego and are "obedient." Her remarks prompted pushback from many conservative women, including Fox News contributor Brett Cooper. "The accusation is completely ridiculous," said the host of "The Brett Cooper Show" podcast during an appearance on "Fox & Friends" Thursday. "Trump's entire administration is filled with strong, intelligent women." Behar suggested that Trump "doesn't really like strong women," instead suggesting he only wanted those around him who were "dutiful, obedient women who compliment him." She also recounted a time when Trump lashed out at her for criticizing his hair, something she believes he didn't do to male comedians who made similar jokes. "Every male comedian did jokes about his hair, but he went after me in particular," Behar said, suggesting his response was driven by sexism. But Cooper pushed back, saying the president's criticism may have had less to do with Behar's gender and more to do with her nature. "Maybe it's not the fact that you're a woman, Joy, but it's just that you are Joy, and he doesn't want to deal with you," Cooper said. "It's less about you being a woman and just about who you are." The young conservative influencer, who signed this week as a Fox News Media contributor, went on to defend prominent women in Trump's orbit, including the impact of first lady Melania Trump. "It's so offensive to say that about her," Cooper said of how Behar's comments paint conservative women like Mrs. Trump. "You've seen the incredible work that she has done, the books that she's written, the languages that she speaks, and the fact that she actively pushes back against him [Trump] on a daily basis, and they still have a great marriage." Other women with high-ranking roles in the Trump White House include Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, DNI Tulsi Gabbard, Attorney General Pam Bondi, press secretary Karoline Leavitt and White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, who earlier this year became the first woman to hold the title. This isn't the first time Trump's relationships with women have been scrutinized on "The View." Last year, billionaire Mark Cuban also took aim. "Donald Trump, you never see him around strong, intelligent women. Ever," Cuban said last October. "It's just that simple. They're intimidating to him. He doesn't like to be challenged by them." Those remarks, too, drew sharp criticism from Trump allies. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt at the time called Cuban's comments "insulting" to the many women who work with and support the former president.

The View's Joy Behar mercilessly mocked after admitting to bizarre relationship habit

Joy Behar has been branded a 'bit weird' by her co-hosts on The View after she revealed a surprising habit that she and her husband on 14 years have fallen into. During Tuesday's episode of the ABC talk show, the journalist shamelessly shared that she and her other half, Steven Janowitz, enjoy watching the same television show at the same time… but separately. Joy exposed her peculiar pastime as she kickstarted a discussion on a new trend called 'screen divorce,' where couples watch their favorite shows solo. It comes after a recent poll claimed that 55 percent of couples argue over what television shows to watch. Addressing co-stars Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin, Alyssa Farah Griffin, and Ana Navarro, Joy admitted: 'Steve and I will be in different rooms watching the same Law and Order rerun. 'I go to the bedroom because I need the ceiling fan since I've been menopausal for 40 years, but he's in the other room watching the exact same show.' 'Oh, I thought you watched different shows,' a gobsmacked Sunny, 56, remarked. 'No,' Joy said matter-of-factly. 'We watch the same show.' 'That's a little bit weird,' Ana, 53, responded. 'Why doesn't he join you in there?' asked a perplexed Sara, 47. But Joy fired back at the criticism. 'Why is it weird?' she pressed, adding that she isn't open to buying a handheld fan so she could join her husband to watch the serial together. 'I have one in my bedroom, why do I have to buy another fan?' she said. 'People should strive for this: Quality time apart.' Her co-hosts couldn't understand Joy's need for space, with Sunny revealing that while she and her husband, Manny Hostin, watch romcoms and fantasy series together, he'll watch his dystopian and horror favorites alone. Ana shared that she and her spouse, Al Cárdenas, also watch their favorite shows by themselves because they don't have the same taste in programs. As she wrapped up the discussion, Joy added: 'My thing about the separate rooms is a very good form of contraception, so remember that.' Joy married her second husband, middle school math teacher Steve, in 2011. The pair had been in a relationship for nearly 30 years before they tied the knot in a private ceremony, held in New York City. 'I waited until all the parents were dead,' she told Rachael Ray in 2011. 'So I have no in-laws at all. 'He has none and I have none. 'Cause marriage is mostly about in-laws, I find. 'They always want you to visit them and come for lasagna.' She also joked: 'If he was going to get down on one knee, I wanted it to be during the time when he could still get up from one knee!' Joy shares 54-year-old daughter, Eve, with her first husband, Joe Behar, whom she was married to between 1965 and 1981.
