Frankie Bridge spotted keeps cool at Wimbledon portable Amazon travel fan

Frankie Bridge is one of the many celebrities seen at Wimbledon so far, but she's found an affordable way to beat the heat without compromising on style with this Amazon find As celebrities and tennis enthusiasts alike swarm London, many are finding ways to keep cool as the temperatures remain high. While some have opted for stylish hand fans, Frankie Bridge has found an affordable gadget she and her friends are using to fend off the heat while they spectate the tournament - and we think we've found it. The handheld pink fan Frankie was photographed using appears to be this portable fan from Amazon, which retails for a wallet-friendly £17.99. That said, Frankie's pastel pink colourway has temporarily sold out, though all other shades are still available to shop. If you had your heart set on Frankie's pink hue, don't worry, we've found similar handheld fans in the same colourway that are sure to do that job. The Jsdoin Hand Held Fan is currently up for grabs in blue, green and purple, with the pink currently unavailable. Touted as a best-seller on Amazon, this portable fan can be recharged and easily taken on the go thanks to its rechargeable battery and small, lightweight design. This portable personal fan is designed to simulate the air outlet of an aircraft engine, using five helical fan blades, which can maximise the airflow intensity and blow out strong, high-pressure, cool wind that's sure to keep your temperature down whether you're watching the tennis from the front row or from your front room. The mini fan has five adjustable wind speeds, which can be operated by simply pressing the button to switch between different wind speeds. Pressing and holding for three seconds will conveniently turn off the fan. You can freely adjust between sleeping wind, natural wind, cool wind, strong wind, and super strong wind according to your needs. This handheld fan is perfect for cooling down in hot weather. It satisfies various usage scenarios and keeps the high temperatures from ruining your day. The portable handheld fan has a built-in 5000mAh large-capacity rechargeable battery, and you can use any USB device to charge the mini handheld fan at any time. Boasting a run time of 8-15 hours at constant running, depending on the wind setting you use, this handheld fan has a battery that is said to last 20% longer than most handheld fans on the market, meaning you can enjoy a cool breeze no matter what you are or how long you need its cooling benefits, whether you're traveling, at work and reclining in the summer sun. The fan's benefits don't end there, as it has adopted a portable and foldable design that lets you fold it at 90°, plus It is small and weighs only 190 grams, making it easy to carry anywhere. Equipped with a lanyard and a base, the hand-held small fan can be held in your hand like Frankie opted for, or you can hang it around your neck to create a handy neck fan, or it can be propped up to work as a desk fan while you're working. Retailing for an affordable £17.99, this handheld fan is sure to meet all of your needs this summer while promising to keep you from feeling the heat. If you were eager to copy Frankie with a pastel pink handheld fan, don't fret, as Argos currently stocks this even more budget-friendly portable fan for £12. Meanwhile, if you're counting your pennies, Robert Dyas has this GEEPAS Hand Held Fan for £5.99. If you don't mind ditching the colour for something more understated but want that nifty design, shoppers over at B&Q can find this VonHaus Handheld Fan, Mini for £10.99.

This handheld fan kept me from fainting at a concert on one of the hottest days of the year — and it's currently 28% off

No one likes a heatwave. I enjoy the sun being out, sure, but I hate it when temperatures reach 30°C / 86°F. It's uncomfortable, and I'm usually sweating buckets at that point. Look, I grew up in India, so I'm used to temperatures reaching 43°C / 109°F, but the heat in the U.K. hits different. Our apartments are designed to trap heat, which is great in the winter but downright awful in the summer. So yes, despite my Indian blood, I do not cope well in the British summer, both indoors and outdoors. However, the thing is, I love attending concerts, and most of them take place outdoors. And when you're amongst thousands of other concert-goers, the heat feels even worse. I had to come up with a solution before I went to see Linkin Park play a sold-out Wembley (I'm aware I have elite music taste), so I bought myself a handheld fan... and it's currently 28% off at Amazon! The Timorn portable handheld fan features up to 100 speeds for various situations, and it's compact enough to slip into your pocket or bag. It's also extremely easy to use with just two buttons! If you're based in the U.S. and aren't looking forward to another week of scorching heat, I'd grab the Timorn 100 Speed Hand Held Mini Fan now, as it's down to just $17 from its retail price of $24. In the U.K., you can grab a handheld fan for the low, low retail price of £16 at Amazon. At its highest speed (100), Timorn's offering is powerful, delivering a maximum wind speed of up to 7m/s. It isn't very loud either, so you can enjoy a meal or still listen to an artist perform their greatest hits without being disturbed. It's also rechargeable, with a single charge lasting up to 10 hours, and if you want more, I'd recommend carrying one of the best power banks for on-the-fly charging. The Jsdoin USB Rechargeable Fan with 5 Speeds is fantastic, and it's powerful enough that when you hold it to your face, the sweat evaporates and you feel refreshed. It can also be angled on a desk for when you're eating food at a table, for example. The Jsdoin 5-speed handheld fan for my British comrades is just as good, if not better. It lasted me the entirety of a four-hour-long concert, an hour-long commute on the subway, and three hours spent eating and drinking too. I then put the fan on charge for two hours and et voilà! I had a full battery ready for the next day. The fan is also extremely comfortable to hold with one hand, as it weighs next to nothing. If you want to get through this heatwave with a bit of style and lots of cooling, I can't think of a better recommendation than a handheld fan — and you can grab one for just $17 / £16 at Amazon. It kept me from fainting (apt, since it was a Linkin Park concert), and it might save you, too!

I'm surviving the UK heatwave with this lifesaver handheld fan – on sale now for £14

THIS little Amazon fan has seriously saved me in the heat. I picked up the Jsdoin handheld fan a couple of weeks ago, and at just £13.99 on sale, it's been one of my best summer buys. Jsdoin Handheld Fan, £15.99 £13.99 Amazon's full of hidden gems, and this little fan showed up just in time for the heatwave. It's on sale for £13.99, and honestly, I don't know how I'd be getting through this heat without it. I grabbed it on a bit of a whim, but with an amber heat health alert for England in place, it's been a lifesaver. If you're like me, your sweaty, slightly desperate future self will be very grateful you got one while it's on offer. But, for something so small, the Jsdoin fan is shockingly powerful. It has five speed settings and throws out some serious airflow, but even on the lowest, it takes the edge off. When I'm on the train and the air feels thick and still, this thing is a lifesaver. It's quiet too, so I don't feel awkward using it in public, and it doesn't rattle like cheaper fans I've tried before. *If you a click a link in this article, we may earn affiliate revenue. There's even a slot for aromatherapy tablets if you're into that (one's included, though I haven't used it yet). It charges via USB-C and lasts way longer than I expected, up to 15 hours depending on the speed setting. There's no annoying slow fade-out either; it holds its strength until the battery's actually done. I really like the LCD display, which shows exactly how much battery I've got left. I always know when it needs a charge and don't get caught out when I need it most. It also folds up, weighs basically nothing, and comes with a lanyard if you want to wear it around your neck. This fan isn't the only solution; we've also put together some cheap tricks to stay cool during a heatwave. But if you want something simple that actually works and doesn't cost a fortune, this one's hard to beat. I'm not the only fan (pardon the pun) it's had thousands of 5-star reviews and over 10,000 sold in the past month. One shopper praised, 'I first got one last year when in the hospital and the windows were rubbish, and this fan worked wonders. 'So when we had that short week of heat, I bought my children one each. Worth every penny.' Another agreed, adding, 'Pretty powerful for a small fan, plus loved the stand and the way it folds.' If you're roasting on the go or just need something to make the heatwave feel a bit more bearable, this fan is absolutely worth £14.
