Where Is Liv Morgan? Latest Injury Update on the Popular WWE Female Superstar
Image via Imagn: Liv Morgan Liv Morgan's 2025 has been full of highs and lows. After becoming a four-time Women's Tag Team Champion alongside Judgment Day stablemate Raquel Rodriguez, Morgan looked poised for a major summer push. But things took an unfortunate turn following a match on the June 16 episode of Monday Night Raw. During a one-on-one bout against Kairi Sane, Morgan was injured following a single-leg takedown from the Japanese star that caused Morgan to crash shoulder-first into the mat. The match was stopped mid-way as she rolled out of the ring, clearly in pain, and leaned against the ringside barrier while clutching her shoulder. Michael Cole later confirmed the seriousness of the injury, saying that she had suffered a dislocated shoulder, which would rule her out of action for several months. Liv Morgan Makes First Public Appearance Since Shoulder Injury Just days after the incident, Morgan made her first public appearance while undergoing rehab at Champion Sports Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama. She was seen wearing a brace, and renowned therapist Kevin Wilk shared an update on her condition through Instagram: 'Awesome honor and pleasure to be helping WWE Superstar Liv Morgan with her shoulder rehabilitation. … Fantastic athlete, dedicated, and great to work with! This WWE Superstar will be back and back even better! Outstanding athlete!' Morgan reportedly had surgery performed by Dr. Jeff Dugas at Andrews Sports Medicine, a top destination for athletes recovering from serious injuries. Moreover, during the June 30 episode of RAW, Raquel Rodriguez gave fans a positive update on her tag team partner and said that Morgan was already in rehab two to three times a week and would be back soon. On top of that, Rodriguez also voiced her frustration with the company's decision to strip Morgan of the title and move forward by naming Roxanne Perez as her replacement, setting up a defense at WWE Evolution 2 on July 13. Roxanne Perez becomes Women's Tag Team Champion, joins Judgment Day: Raw highlights, June 30, 2025 Unfortunately, this isn't Morgan's first shoulder setback. In 2023, she missed close to six months after tearing her labrum during a match with Rhea Ripley. Prior to her latest injury, Morgan was expected to enter the world title picture against Iyo Sky and possibly ignite a feud with a returning Nikki Bella. Plans for Bella to cut a promo on RAW to set things up were reportedly scrapped following Morgan's unexpected absence. Also read: Game On Season 1 continues with Mirabai Chanu's inspiring story. Judgment Day's Reign Expands as Roxanne Perez Officially Crowned Women's Tag Team Champion
Image via WWE: Finn Balor, Roxanne Perez, JD McDonagh, Dominik Mysterio, and Raquel Rodriguez The Judgment Day's dominance continued on the June 30 edition of Monday Night Raw, as a long-standing question over the fate of the Women's Tag Team Titles was finally answered, and that too in stunning fashion. WWE announced that Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez have been crowned the new Women's Tag Team Champions, filling the void left by Liv Morgan, who suffered a serious shoulder injury during her match against Kairi Sane on the June 16 episode. Finn Balor and Club Push for Roxanne Perez to Become the New Tag Team Champion The decision didn't come lightly, and it was orchestrated behind the scenes by none other than Finn Balor and JD McDonagh, who had earlier in the night captured the Raw Tag Team Titles by defeating Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. Backstage, Balor and McDonagh met with SmackDown GM Nick Aldis and Raw GM Adam Pearce. They argued that Raquel Rodriguez had done everything possible to retain the tag titles in Morgan's absence, and stripping her of the belts would be unjust. Instead, they proposed Roxanne Perez, owing to her recent ties to the group and alleged chemistry with Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio, as the ideal replacement. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Serbia: New Container Houses (Prices May Surprise You) Container House Search Now Undo After some deliberation, the officials agreed, but with one major condition: the newly crowned champions must defend their titles in a fatal 4-way match at WWE Evolution on July 13 against teams from Raw, SmackDown, and NXT. Roxanne Perez becomes Women's Tag Team Champion, joins Judgment Day: Raw highlights, June 30, 2025 Later in the night, the Judgment Day celebrated their growing title collection until Raquel Rodriguez stormed in, clearly unhappy with how things unfolded. She questioned Balor's authority to name her a new partner and emphasized Liv Morgan was in rehab multiple times a week and would return soon. Balor responded with empathy, referencing his own shoulder injury at SummerSlam 2016 that forced him to vacate the Universal Championship just one night after winning it. He reminded Rodriguez that sometimes, business has to move forward. He then proposed a Judgment Day vote on the decision. Balor and McDonagh quickly voted yes. Dominik Mysterio appeared hesitant, suggesting he wanted to speak with Morgan before deciding. But Balor urged him to act independently, and Mysterio reluctantly agreed. Rodriguez, still unsure, finally gave in after some pressure. With that, the vote was unanimous, and Perez was officially crowned champion. This crowning also marks a historic moment: every active member of Judgment Day now holds a title. Game On Season 1 continues with Mirabai Chanu's inspiring story. Watch Episode 2 here.

'A liar and a wh*re': WWE star Dominik Mysterio takes a jibe at Karrion Kross after his Night of Champions loss
(Image via X) The WWE Night of Champions witnessed an electrifying performance between Sami Zayn and Karrion Kross, where Sami Zayn emerged as the champion of the segment after a tough fight. In the third segment of Night of Champions, Sami Zayn proved Karrion Kross wrong in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, who teased and ridiculed Zayn for several months for not achieving world champion status. Meanwhile, it has come to light that Dominik Mysterio has recently lashed out at Karrion Kross, accusing him of dishonesty and revealing details about a behind-the-scenes interaction. Let's take a look at what could be the possible reason behind these scathing comments on Karrion Kross' loss at the premium live event. Why did Dominik Mysterio lash out at Karrion Kross? As Karrion Kross faced a crushing defeat at the hands of Sami Zayn at the recently held Night of Champions 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the former took to his social media handle to post an emotional statement. Following his loss at the comeback match in the PLE, both Kross and his wife Scarlett Bordeaux took to X/Twitter with statements on their latest PLE outing, and the wrestler himself left an emotional message for the fans and WWE Universe. Kross went into Night of Champions with strong buzz from his recent support from the WWE Universe, as this segment marked his comeback on TV and particularly on a major premium live event of WWE after 2024. However, the match did not turn in his favor, resulting in a defeat. Owing to this situation, Karrion Kross penned an emotional note on his social media handle, stating, 'Didn't ask for shortcuts. Didn't ask for favors. We just showed up—every time—staying ready even when no one was watching. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Giao dịch CFD với công nghệ và tốc độ tốt hơn IC Markets Đăng ký Undo Saudi Arabia, you saw it. ' In his post, Kross claimed he never asked for shoutouts or favors to get where he is in WWE. He emphasized that everything he's earned has come from his hard work and perseverance. However, Dominik Mysterio did not hold himself back and passed a scathing remark on his post, lashing out at him. He accused him of lying and called Kross 'a liar and wh*re.' In a comment, the Intercontinental Champion wrote, 'You are a liar, and a wh*re. You asked for a favor on Monday.' This comment caught the WWE fans off guard, as it revealed the behind-the-scenes confrontation between Kross and Mysterio. Earlier, the Judgment Day faction member was scheduled to play a match at the Night of Champions. Mysterio was slated to defend his WWE Intercontinental Championship against AJ Styles at Night of Champions on June 28. However, the match had to be canceled due to Mysterio's rib injury. But, reports suggest that the injury is not expected to keep him out of the scene, and he will be back in action very soon.
