Hassan: The Janaspandana programme organised to redress public grievances in Hassan evoked a good response. A total of 140 applications were received, and deputy commissioner KS Latha Kumari directed the officials concerned to take action on them by the next programme scheduled for next month. The DC instructed officials to conduct a Pension Adalat alongside the land record campaign to identify those who were left out and provide govt scheme benefits to eligible individuals. Hassan: With cardiac arrest deaths increasing in the district, the district administration is preparing to study the causes of cardiac arrest and is also looking at preventive measures through awareness programmes. Following 18 cardiac fatalities recorded between May 20 and June 20, Hassan's health authorities will establish a dedicated team to examine the causes. The data shows 14 individuals died at their residences, two at their workplaces, and two in healthcare facilities.
