Netflix's Top Boy star looks unrecognisable in jaw-dropping weight loss reveal just months after splitting from co-star girlfriend

A Top Boy star looked unrecognisable after showing off his impressive weight loss just months after splitting from his co-star girlfriend. Kadeem Ramsay, known for playing Jamie's backstabber friend Kit, displayed his significant change as he recorded himself in a gym toilet. The London-born actor captured his slimmed down frame and muscled arms in the Instagram clip, sporting a black vest top, navy joggers and gym gloves. In the recent social media bit, the Netflix alum looked worlds away from his character Kit. Kadeem was dating his Top Boy co-star Jasmine Jobson, who played one of the leading characters Jaq Lawrence, since 2023. The romance came to an end when the former couple parted ways earlier this year with Jasmine. The British actress, 30, confirmed their split in May and stated she was now in a 'committed relationship with life' and celibate. Kadeem is arguably best known for his role as London Fields gang member Kit in the Netflix's hit show. His character played a huge part in the series from when he first appeared on our screens in season three. His alter-ego was best pals with Jamie Tovell (Micheal Ward), who became leader after Modie (David Omoregie) was put in prison. And this meant that he was placed just below Jamie in the gang's hierarchy. But things turned very complicated when youngster Ats (Keiyon Cook) - who was Jamie's younger brother Stefan's (Araloyin Oshunremi) best mate - was told to plant drugs and a gun in Jamie's house by Summerhouse gang leader and rival Dushane Hill (Ashley Walters). His actions meant that Jamie was put in prison and Kit decided to take matters into his own hands. He told Dexter Marcey (Micah Louban) to 'teach Ats a lesson', but this ended with Dexter killing the school boy. It got even more complicated when Jamie ended up killing Kit in season four, under instructions from rivals Dushane and Sully (Kane Robinson). But in May Jasmine - who has recently starred in new crime drama Mobland - revealed that they had gone their separate ways. In a video shared to her social media, Jasmine addressed questions about her relationship status, revealing she's 'in a committed relationship with life'. When asked by fans if she was still in a relationship, she said: 'No, I'm not but I'm also not single, thank you very much. 'I am taken by life. And I am celibate - not single, not taken, just in a committed relationship with life.' She added: 'The next time I see somebody is gonna be the man that I marry.' The couple went Instagram official with their romance in October 2023 with a sweet snap. The pair were stood in a field in the photo as they leaned in for a smooch, with the actress captioning the snap: 'You can't sit with us'. Top Boy isn't the only TV show that Kadeem has starred in. He also played OctoBoy in Netflix's Sex Education in 2019. Some other credentials include Tracey Ullman's Show, In The Long Run, Small Axe and The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin. Crime drama Top Boy has had 32 episodes across five series. It hit our screens on Channel 4 in 2011 and was on their until 2013. When it returned in 2019, the show aired on Netflix. Top Boy wrapped up in 2023 - much to fans' dismay.
