After box office success, Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda's 'Saiyaara' to drop on this OTT platform on Diwali?
Debutants Ahaan Panday & Aneet Padda's Saiyaara has been released and is shattering several box office records. The fresh faces Ahaan and Aneet have become the hottest newcomers in film since Hrithik Roshan and Ameesha Patel's Kaho Na Pyaar continue to attract audience to the theatres and is scripting history on a daily basis. The buzz continue has been high and the insiders suggest that the film is likely to cross Rs 200 over the weekend. The new update is that the film's digital rights have been bought by international OTT platform Netflix, and the movie is more likely to stream after eight weeks of its per norms, after 8 weeks of the film release, the movie will make its digital premiere on Netflix in September and more likely that it will be out in September second week on the OTT platform. Meanwhile, insiders suggest that the makers are in talks with the OTT giant to secure a 90-day theatrical window, eyeing a Diwali release for the by Mohit Suri and produced by YRF CEO Akshaye Widhani, Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda made a dream debut in showbiz and have become overnight Gen Z stars and sweethearts of the nation. With Saiyaara, they also became the first debutants in the history of Hindi cinema to enter the Rs 100 crore club in just 4 days. Saiyaara continues to perform well and on its first 6 days at the box office, and earned an estimated Rs 150 cr India in its 50-year history, is known for giving India some of the cult romantic films of all time, primarily directed by Yash Chopra and Aditya Chopra. Mohit Suri, who is currently in his 20th year in cinema, has also directed some of the most favourite romantic films like Aashiqui 2, Malang, Ek Villain, etc.
