Epstein-Barr Is More Dangerous Than You Think

Hi it's Karoline in Singapore, where one in four people will get cancer in their lifetime. A recent study found a common virus could be more powerful in causing cancers than previously thought. More on that in a moment, but first ... The Epstein-Barr virus is one of the most common human viruses, with more than 90% of people in the world being infected at some point of their lives. It's spread by saliva and causes mononucleosis, known as the 'kissing disease.' Though EBV generally causes mild flu-like symptoms, it has been linked to immune dysfunctions, lymphomas and nose and stomach cancers.

Who Is Karoline Leavitt's Husband? Everything To Know About Nicholas Riccio

Karoline Leavitt made history when she became the youngest person to hold the position of press secretary in the USA. And her role giving press briefings for Donald Trump's administration means she is never far from the public eye. But less is known about Karoline's husband, Nicholas Riccio. Karoline has described her husband as her 'greatest supporter', but on the whole he prefers to keep a low profile. Nicholas Riccio is a real estate developer who grew up in Hudson. He graduated high school and was a student at Plymouth State University. He told The Sunday Herald that he experienced financial insecurity during this time of his life. 'When I was 19 or 20, I would call my buddies to go over their houses to watch a game just so I could take a shower,' he told the outlet in 2005. After taking a real estate course, he worked his way up to own his own company, Riccio Enterprises. In the interview with the Sunday Herald, he discussed his big ambitions. 'My work in real estate has helped facilitate my dream of owning a professional sports team. And that will happen one day in the near future,' he said. Nicholas Riccio is 59 years old. This means there is a 32 year age gap between himself and Karoline, which has been the topic of much media attention. When the pair met, she was 25. During an appearance on The Megyn Kelly show earlier this year, she said it's a 'very atypical love story' adding 'he's incredible.' 'He is my greatest supporter, he's my best friend and he's my rock,' she gushed. 'He's built a very successful business himself so now he's fully supportive of me building my success in my career.' The couple met in 2022 when Karoline was running for a Congress seat in New Hampshire. She won the Republican nomination, she lost the election to Democrat Chris Pappas. She told The Megyn Kelly Show: 'A mutual friend of ours hosted an event at a restaurant that he owns up in New Hampshire and invited my husband,' she recalled. 'I was speaking. We met and we were acquainted as friends.' Karoline and Riccio tied the knot in January 2025, days before Trump's second inauguration. She shared pictures of her wedding, which took place at Wentworth By The Sea Country Club, on Instagram, captioning the post 'Finally found some time to post a few of my favorite pictures from one of my favorite days!' While Nicholas is fully supportive of what he does, Karoline doesn't share much of their private life on social media, as her husband prefers to keep a low profile. 'He's an introvert (complete opposite of me),' she told followers. 'I respect his privacy on here—but he's my number one fan, the best dad, and just the best man I've ever met.' Yes, Karoline and Nicholas welcomed a son, Nicholas Robert Riccio, on July 10, 2024. Karoline shared the happy news on her Instagram, where she accompanied adorable pictures with the caption: 'It's true when they say there's nothing comparable to the love you feel for your child.' She continued: 'My heart has grown bigger than I ever imagined possible. Babies are the ultimate blessing and I'm bursting with gratitude for our beautiful, happy, healthy boy.' Karoline was on maternity leave during Trump's assassination attempt - something she said motivated her to return to work quickly. In an interview with The Conservator, she explained she was grateful that Ricco had a flexible work schedule so he could help with childcare while she went back to work. 'Leaving the baby every day to go to work, it does break your heart,' she said. 'It's incredibly challenging emotionally, physically, spiritually.' Alice Hall is the Staff Writer at Grazia UK. New Zealand Allows First Medical Use of Magic Mushroom Compound

By Hi, it's Karoline in Singapore, where the use of hallucinogens is largely illegal and subject to severe penalties. But one nation just allowed medical use of 'magic mushrooms'. But before I tell you more... Psilocybin, a hallucinogen found in more than 200 species of 'magic mushrooms' was defined by the UN's 1971 Convention on Psychotropic Substances as a drug with high potential for abuse and not recognized for medical use. But in recent years, studies have shown that it can relieve severe depression when taken in conjunction with psychotherapy.

Trump Press Secretary's "Stupid" Comment, Viral Outrage

Ahead of President Donald Trump's US military parade, a press conference was held to address his views on protests, and things got heated. To celebrate the army's 250th anniversary, a huge military parade is expected to be held today in Washington, DC, and is set to include thousands of soldiers marching the streets, tanks, warplanes, army parachutists, and more. Today is also Trump's 79th birthday. "Critics have compared the expensive parade (which reportedly costs a whopping $40 million) to the ones held in Russia and North Korea. To counteract the massive demonstration, his policies, and the recent ICE raids/deportations, protests, known as the No Kings Protests, continue to take place around the country, with some even scheduled to happen today. On Tuesday, Trump spoke out on the country-wide demonstrations and warned that anyone protesting during the anniversary parade will be met with "very heavy force." So, when White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt held a daily briefing the following day, it was expected that reporters would have some follow-up questions about his remarks on protests against immigration raids in Los Angeles, which escalated after Trump authorized military forces to protect federal property against the wishes of city and state officials. One interaction in particular has generated a lot of attention online, ultimately going viral for the "aggressive" response Karoline gave NOTUS White House correspondent Jasmine Wright. "The president warned that any protests on Saturday would be met with force," Jasmine began. "Can you clarify what kind of protest President Trump does support or find acceptable?" "The president absolutely supports peaceful protests," Karoline responded. "He supports the First Amendment. He supports the rights of Americans to make their voices heard. He does not support violence of any kind." The First Amendment protects the freedom of religion, speech, press, peaceful assembly, and the right to petition the government for redress of grievances. "He does not support violence of any kind. He does not support assaulting law enforcement officers, who are simply trying to do their job. It's very clear for the president what he supports and what he does not. Unfortunately, for Democrats, that line has not been made clear, and they've allowed this unrest and this violence to continue, and the president has had to step in." To get some clarification from Karoline, Jasmine asked, "So, if there were peaceful protests on Saturday for the military parade, President Trump would allow that?" To which Karoline responded, "Of course, the president supports peaceful protest. What a stupid question." Jasmine's facial expression said it all, because how rude! The comment was so uncalled for. Not only did Karoline not answer the question, but she threw all professionalism out the window while conversing with Jasmine. Many people online were disgusted by it all: The responses continued to highlight her behavior: Unfortunately, this seems to be a pattern for Karoline. Other correspondents have dealt with similar experiences. You can watch here and here. The parade is set to take place later today at 6:30 p.m. ET in D.C., so only time will tell what will happen with today's protests. What are your thoughts on all of this? Let me know in the comments.
