Ravi Kishan Reveals REAL Reason He Touches His Wife Feet Every Night: 'My Son Knows That...'

Last Updated: Ravi Kishan opened up on The Great Indian Kapil Show about why he touches his wife Priti's feet at night. Ravi Kishan doesn't shy away from wearing his heart on his sleeve – especially when it comes to his wife, Priti Shukla. The actor recently appeared on The Great Indian Kapil Show with the Son of Sardaar 2 team, including Ajay Devgn and Mrunal Thakur, where a conversation took a personal turn, revealing a side of him that had the audience both smiling and surprised. During the episode, host Kapil Sharma brought up something quite specific – a habit Ravi has of touching his wife's feet every night. That's when Ravi opened up, not just about the habit, but the reason behind it. 'I do it, but she never let me do that, but whenever she is sleeping…" he began, to some curious laughter from the crowd. Explaining where the gesture came from, he added, 'She was by my side when I had neither money nor means. She held on through all ups and downs. Whatever success I have today, it's because she never left my side. My son is sitting in front of me, he knows that the way she managed me, touching her feet is the least I can do." The moment turned into light-hearted banter when Ajay Devgn, who was seated next to him, saw a chance to poke some fun. Without missing a beat, Ajay joked, 'The guiltier a man is, the more he will bend to touch his wife's feet." That one-liner had everyone, including Ravi and the rest of the cast, in splits. This isn't the first time Ravi Kishan has spoken openly about the bond he shares with his wife. During last year's Karwa Chauth, he had taken to Instagram to call Priti his 'support system." In the heartfelt post, he had written, 'Preeti is the support system for our family. She has always stayed beside me through thick and thin. I cannot thank her enough for making my life the way it is. Karva Chauth is a very special festival for both of us. On this day, I make sure I am with her at least during the puja ceremony. This helps strengthen our bond." First Published: July 21, 2025, 12:20 IST Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. Please keep discussions respectful and constructive. Delhi man electrocuted by wife, lover: Hatched plot over 3 months — Instagram chats gave them away

Sushmita (35) and Karan Dev (36) had been married for several years. He owned an artificial jewellery shop, metres away from his house in Dwarka's Uttam Nagar. She was a homemaker. They were parents to a six-year-old. But Karan was allegedly violent towards his wife — he slapped her last year in October, just a day before Karva Chauth, said a police officer. One-and-a-half years ago, an affair began between Sushmita and Karan's cousin, Rahul (25), said police. 'She confided in him about her husband's violent behaviour… she had been contemplating leaving him (Karan) for the past year,' said the officer. Three months ago, Sushmita allegedly told Rahul that Karan's death was the only way out for her. Since then, the police officer said, the two had been allegedly plotting to kill the husband and make it look like an accident. The duo put their plan into action on July 13. According to police, Sushmita allegedly laced Karan's dinner with 12 sleeping pills and the two later electrocuted him. On Friday, Sushmita and Rahul were arrested for murder. 'The two killed Karan and passed it off as an accidental death,' said an officer. How the plot unravelled It was from Instagram chats between the two — accessed by investigators — that police pieced together what happened on the night of the murder. The chats showed Sushmita's frustration when the drugs appeared to have no effect on Karan. 'In one message, she wrote that despite giving him so many medicines, he was not dying. She also asked Rahul how long it would take, as it had been three hours since he ate food,' a police officer said. Rahul then suggested electrocuting him, a police officer said. 'Tie him up with tape and then give him a shock,' one of Rahul's messages read. The pills eventually rendered Karan unconscious. Police said Sushmita called Rahul to the house, and together they stripped an extension cord to expose the live wire. They then allegedly wrapped it around Karan's hand and touched it to his chest — electrocuting him. Sushmita broke the news to the family in a panic, said police. Later that night, the Mata Rooprani Maggo Hospital in Uttam Nagar informed the police about the case. Karan was declared dead on arrival at the hospital, as per the Medico-Legal Case (MLC) report. At that time, the family members did not raise any allegations, and they did not wish to go ahead with the post-mortem. However, taking into account the age of the deceased and to rule out any unnatural circumstances, an autopsy was conducted, DCP (Dwarka) Ankit Singh had said earlier. Then, on July 16, police said Karan's brother approached police, expressing suspicions about the involvement of Karan's wife and cousin in his death. Based on his statement, a preliminary inquiry was initiated. 'While we were waiting for the post-mortem report, the victim's brother discovered some Instagram chats, which contained serious incriminating content. The brother informed the police, and a written complaint was filed. Based on the complaint, we registered a case on charges of murder and criminal conspiracy,' DCP Ankit Singh had said. 'Sushmita and Rahul are in two-day police custody, and questioning is going on. Their chat history is also being assessed, and further details would be shared soon,' DCP Singh said.

Aamir Khan Feels Dhoom 3 Could Have Been Better: ‘Aditya Chopra Ne Galti Ki'

Last Updated: Aamir Khan revealed the original plot of Dhoom 3, and said that Abhishek Bachchan's onscreen wife Rimi Sen aka Sweety Dixit was supposed to return in the film. Dhoom 3, written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and produced by Aditya Chopra, was released in 2013. The film starred Aamir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Uday Chopra and Katrina Kaif. However, did you know the film was supposed to have another important character? During an interview with Mashable, Aamir shared that Abhishek Bachchan's onscreen wife, Rimi Sen aka Sweety Dixit, was intended to return in Dhoom 3. However, producer Aditya Chopra and writer-director Vijay Krishna Acharya decided otherwise. Aamir said that he felt Dhoom 3 could have been better because it originally included the character of Jai Dixit's wife, Sweety, from the first two films. 'Dhoom 3 behtar better ho sakti thi. Kyunki usme ek kirdaar tha jo Jai Dixit ki wife ka role hai, Sweety ka, jo 1 and 2 mein hai, woh character original script mein hai. Adi aur Victor ko laga woh zaruri nahi hai toh unhone nikaal diya, shoot hi nahi kiya. Mere hisaab se woh unhone galati ki. Abhi toh wife ka character hi nahi hai naa. Original mein yeh tha wife jo hai woh usko divorce dene waali hai. Start usse hi hota hai. (Dhoom 3 could have been better. There was a character — Jai Dixit's wife, Sweety — who was in parts 1 and 2, and she was in the original script too. But Adi and Victor felt she wasn't necessary, so they removed her — didn't even shoot those scenes. In my opinion, that was a mistake. Now, there's no mention of his wife at all. In the original script, the story began with his wife wanting to divorce him)." Aamir further explained that Sweety's character was frustrated because her husband, a Mumbai Police officer, neglected her and missed important occasions like Karva Chauth and her birthday. He described how Abhishek's character would try to win her back by promising her a honeymoon they had never taken. However, Jai would then receive an urgent message about a new case in Chicago, creating a dilemma. At the airport, before leaving for his honeymoon, Jai would meet the police commissioner in the washroom to get briefed on the case. After the interval, Jai would be removed from the case in the film. But in the original script, his honeymoon and the case were meant to end simultaneously, revealed Aamir. There was a twist where Sweety knew all along that Jai was on a case and urged him not to return home until he caught the thief. Aamir believed this backstory would have helped viewers connect emotionally with Jai's character. For the unversed, Dhoom 3 is the third installment in the popular action-crime franchise Dhoom. Directed and co-written by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the film stars Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Abhishek Bachchan, Uday Chopra, Siddharth Nigam, and Jackie Shroff in key roles. First Published:

Aamir Khan says 'Dhoom 3' could've been better: 'Aditya Chopra made a mistake..."

With high expectations. 'Dhoom 3' is surely one of the most underwhelming films of Aamir Khan and also the weakest among the 'Dhoom' series. Earlier, in a candid interview with Mashable India, actor Aamir Khan opened up about the original plotline of 'Dhoom 3' and why he believes the film could have been emotionally stronger. According to Aamir, one key character—Sweety Dixit, Jai Dixit's wife, played by Rimi Sen in the first two parts—was cut from the final version, a decision he called a 'mistake' by producer Aditya Chopra and director Vijay Krishna Acharya . 'Sweety's Character Was Originally Central' Aamir revealed that the original script of 'Dhoom 3' began with Sweety asking Jai Dixit (played by Abhishek Bachchan) for a divorce, frustrated with her husband's neglect. 'Dhoom 3 behtar ho sakti thi. Kyunki usme ek kirdaar tha—Jai Dixit ki wife Sweety—jo original script mein tha. Adi aur Victor ko laga woh zaroori nahi hai, toh nikaal diya. Mere hisaab se woh galti thi,' said Aamir. He felt the character added depth to Jai's persona and could have given audiences an emotional entry point into the action-heavy film. A Missed Opportunity for Emotional Impact Explaining the original storyline, Aamir said Sweety was tired of being forgotten—Jai would miss Karva Chauth, her birthday, and other important occasions due to his work. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Here's A List Of Cheapest Steel Suppliers (See List) Steel Suppliers | search ads Search Now Undo To win her back, Jai would promise her a long-overdue honeymoon, but an urgent case in Chicago would interrupt their plans. Instead of ditching his wife, the story would unfold with Sweety supporting Jai's mission, urging him to finish the case before returning home. 'It would've added heart to Jai's otherwise rigid character,' Aamir said. About 'Dhoom 3' Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, 'Dhoom 3' hit the big screens on December 20, 2013. The expectations were quite high for the project, but it turned out to be a massive disappointment, especially due to the weak second half and climax.
