Has Heavenly Ever After been renewed for Season 2? Here's what we know:

Renewed Or Cancelled? Heavenly Ever After is the latest sentimental K-drama, boasting compelling characters and an intriguing story. This one has been quite the rollercoaster over the past weeks! If you've been following this one, you may be wondering if this has been renewed or cancelled. Well, wonder no more. Here's what we know about a renewal: What is Heavenly Ever After about? Heavenly Ever After tells the story of an old woman, Hae-suk, who lived a happy life with her husband until she died. Her husband loved her so much and always admired her beauty, saying, 'You were pretty in your twenties and thirties, and now you are the most beautiful at eighty!' When Hae-suk was about to die, she remembered her husband's words and said, 'I just want to go to heaven at my real age.' You can find those HERE! Has Heavenly Ever After been renewed for season 2? At the time of writing, JTBC and Netflix have not renewed Heavenly Ever After for season 2. Given the ratings over the weeks, it'll be interesting to see if they actually do renew this for a follow-up. JTBC do have ratings available to look over here, with the first episode beginning with a respectable 5.8% share and since then it's been hovering around a 6.1 rating, which is pretty good for a weekend K-drama. Most k-dramas do wrap up their stories in a single season though, and it's generally very rare – but not impossible – to find these sort of shows renewed. This one doesn't look like it's going to buck the trend and is unlikely to be renewed in the future. We'll be sure to update this section with more details as they become available. What we know about season 2 so far: Barely anything is known about season 2 right now. Given most Korean dramas are reserved to one season, it's rare to find these sort of shows renewed. With the rare exception of ongoing Netflix shows (Love ft. Marriage and Divorce, Hospital Playlist etc.) then it seems unlikely that this one will be renewed. Having said that though, we have seen Taxi Driver and Tale of the Nine Tailed renewed recently, alongside Alchemy of Souls too. Given how steady the ratings are for this series, could we see this one buck the trend? It seems very unlikely that Heavenly Ever After will, but you never know!
