Police are asking the public for help to find 21-year-old Haami Hanara, who was only 14 when he
was sentenced to life for the murder of homeless man Kelly Donner
.
Hanara appealed his conviction in 2022 and later admitted to a manslaughter charge. He was released in 2023.
A police spokesperson said Hanara has a warrant out for arrest and should not be approached.
Hanara is 168cm tall, of medium build and has a cast on his right arm.
Police said they believed he was in Flaxmere, Hastings.
If sighted call 111 immediately, they said.
