Three Celtic departures, Johns joins Hearts & Bulloch signs for Well
Goalkeeper Kelsey Daugherty, defender Celya Barclais, and forward Abi Harrison will leave Celtic after the expiry of their joined Celtic in 2023 and kept 32 clean sheets in 68 appearances, while Barclais was voted players' player of the year for the 2024-25 academy graduate Harrison re-joined Celtic in January 2025, making 14 appearances and scoring three striker Carly Johns has joined Hearts on a two-year 22-year-old becomes Eva Olid's second summer signing, and the Hearts manager said: "We're really happy to have [Johns] at Hearts. Celtic FC Women: Squad Update
Celtic FC Women can now confirm that Kelsey Daugherty, Celya Barclais, and Abi Harrison will depart the club following the expiry of their contracts this summer. Kelsey Daugherty joined the Hoops in the summer of 2023 and quickly established herself as number one between the sticks. The American goalkeeper made 68 appearances, keeping an impressive 32 clean sheets during her time in Glasgow. Daugherty played a pivotal role in the club's historic 2023/24 league title win, while also producing a number of impressive performances on the European stage during Celtic's maiden UEFA Women's Champions League journey last season. Célya Barclais also arrived ahead of the 2023/24 season and made an impact in the green and white Hoops, going on to feature 63 times in all competitions. A versatile full-back, her consistent performances in defence saw her voted Players' Player of the Year for the 2024/25 season. Barclais also played an instrumental part in the club's first-ever SWPL title win and last season's UWCL run. Abi Harrison returned to Paradise in January 2025, having originally come through the Celtic Academy and making her first-team debut as a teenager. Her return brought valuable experience and added an attacking threat in the second half of the season, where she scored three goals in 14 appearances.
