Wexford students awarded for upholding core values of Kennedy College
Principal Sarah Roche opened the ceremony by addressing those in attendance and spoke insightfully and encouragingly about resilience. The first of to be recognised of the students was Ava Purcell, who was awarded a trophy in honour of her Leaving Certificate results in the previous academic year. Ava was joined by her mother, Julie Ann Murphy, who also was commended for her long service as a parent representative on the Kennedy College Board of Management.
Throughout the afternoon, students were celebrated for various achievements in their subjects, sport, extra curricular activities, contribution to the school community, behaviour and attendance.
One of the most prestigious awards was presented to Arron Philpot as he was awarded the 2024/2025 Principal's Award for his efforts throughout the year in upholding the school's core values of community, excellence in education, respect, care and equality.
Kennedy College wish to thank those who were in attendance and the whole school community for their continued support throughout the year.
