Kenzie Paige Highlights Which Match Is A Perfect Representation Of Who She Is
One of the faces of the National Wrestling Alliance is current NWA Women's World Champion Kenzie Paige. She has been holding on to the world title for over 600 days. Recently, Kenzie Paige was interviewed by WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard. During the interview, Paige shared that her match for the NWA Women's World Championship against the former champion Kamille is the perfect representation of who she is in the ring. Advertisement 'Kenzie Paige versus Kamille for the NWA Women's World Championship. Still holds up. Still has a very emotional attachment to me, obviously. But I feel like that's the perfect representation of, I can hit hard, I can pull at your heart strings. And I can play dirty if I have to. I feel like that one's a perfect example of who Kenzie Paige is.' Kenzie Paige on her 625+ days as NWA Women's World Champion and potentially beating Kamille's record During the same interview, Paige shared her thoughts on her long title reign. 'I feel like I'm not really too focused on the days that I have the championship. I just want to make sure that the days I do have it, it matters. And whenever my time does come and I'm not the NWA Women's Champion anymore, I want people to remember, 'Kenzie Paige, she did something with it. She did something for the NWA. Her being the champion was good for her but it was good for the NWA.' That's the kind of thing I want to focus on there.' Advertisement 'But I also feel like, a lot of my run with the NWA has been history, right? The youngest NWA Women's Champion, first Triple Crown, first NWA Television Women's Champion. Just a lot of things. First woman to own a territory within the National Wrestling Alliance. And the youngest of course. But that is a lot of my reign and run at the National Wrestling Alliance is based on the fact that I've made history over, and over, and over, and over.' Paige noted how her match against Natalya would be historical too, and for different reasons. 'I've just been trying to build up not only my name but the NWA. I'm trying to give back some of that prestige feeling and just… It matters to me, and I want it to matter to everybody else. So, being a part of the history, being in those historical matches, it does mean a lot to me. And I just want to keep doing that and keep growing it to what I know it can be.' Natalya Attacks Heckling Fan After NWA Debut
Natalya wasn't having any of it. Natalya made her NWA in-ring debut at the 2025 NWA Crockett Cup in Philadelphia against Kenzie Paige. After the match, Natalya got involved in a scuffle with a fan that resulted in her hitting him in the face. Advertisement As seen in the clip posted online by MuscleManMalcolm, Nattie approached a man in a pink shirt sitting ringside. She slaps him in the head and he went down to the ground, and she reached over the barricade and took another swing before security stepped in. Many fans online reacted to the clip, speculating that it was a worked (staged) incident. Ringside News is reporting that the 'troll' later took photos with Natalya after the scripted incident during the show. However, this appears to be inaccurate, as Nattie took photos with a fan named Frankie that she recognized. The fan who Nattie had the incident was wearing a pink Kenzie Paige t-shirt: Kenzie Paige says working with Natalya is much more than a dream match Natalya's opponent, NWA Women's World Champion Kenzie Paige, spoke with WrestleZone about what the match meant to her. Advertisement 'I feel like it is still kind of a dream, right? I started wrestling when I was 14. So, I just imagine telling like, 14-year-old Kenzie, missing school every Friday and all that stuff, 'Girl, keep going. You're going to wrestle Natalya and Gail Kim is going to be your special guest ref.' I don't know if that part's really registered because I've been so… I'm not going to say in over my head, but I've been so devoted to getting that respect from Natalya and all of that. 'I've almost not even [had time] to focus on the fact that this is a dream for me. This is my job now, right? So, I've not even got to focus on the fact that this is a real-life accomplishment for me. Personally, within my heart, anyone who knows me knows Bret Hart is my favorite. Owen Hart is my favorite, I've painted a picture of Nattie in my high school art class, right? So, this really is a big dream for me. And it's almost crazy to think that now, I've not even got to focus on that part. Because it is my job. And I do have so much more on the line than just a dream match happening for me.' Gail Kim ultimately missed the event due to an unfortunate illness; you can read her statement on missing the NWA Crockett Cup here. Kenzie Paige Doesn't Want Fans To Think She's ‘Wasting Away' In NWA
Kenzie Paige is one of the youngest and top talents in the world of professional wrestling. She is the current NWA Women's World Champion and also enjoyed a reign as NWA Women's World Tag Team Champion. Recently, Paige was interviewed by WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard. During the interview, Paige shared that she hopes that wrestling fans see and understand that she's trying her best in the NWA. She believes that she is building herself and the company, and doesn't want people to think that she's wasting her time. Advertisement 'I hope they just see that I really am trying with the NWA. I really am trying to build it back up and whether it be on my back and my sister's back, then that's what it is. So, that's what we will take. We'll take and run with it. But for how young I am and how much heart and time I've put into it, I don't want people to think I'm wasting away in the NWA. 'I'm really trying to build something up while I am here. You know what I mean? So, all the history made, the people I've faced, the trials and tribulations that I've went through, it means something to me and I know, one day it is going to mean something to everybody else,' Kenzie Paige said. Kenzie Paige recently squared off with WWE's Natalya During the same interview, Paige shared her thoughts on her match against WWE Superstar Natalya at the NWA Crockett Cup. Paige called it a dream match, and she was ultimately successful in beating Nattie via pinfall. Advertisement More fireworks came after the match, however, as Natalya got involved in a scuffle with a trolling fan. This resulted in her hitting him in the face, and the incident was questioned for being staged. However, it's worth noting the 'fan' in question was wearing a Kenzie Paige shirt. Natalya commented on the match afterwards, claiming she gave Paige the same 'Nattie Rub' that she gave another WWE Superstar. What are your thoughts on Kenzie Paige?
