Iran: +600 killed in Israeli strikes across multiple provinces
Shafaq News – Tehran Israeli strikes have killed 627 people and injured 4,870 others across multiple Iranian provinces, according to the latest updated data from the Ministry of Health on Wednesday. Hossein Kermanpour, the ministry's head of Public Relations and Information Center, stated that the provinces of Tehran and Kermanshah recorded the highest number of casualties, followed by Khuzestan, Lorestan, Isfahan, Markazi, East Azerbaijan, Hamedan, Zanjan, and Gilan. Kermanpour noted that 86.1% of the victims died at the sites of the attacks, while 13.9% died en route to hospitals. Over 600 civilians killed in Iran during 12-day war with Israel
Shafaq News/ Iran's Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday that the war with Israel resulted in heavy civilian losses. In a statement on X, ministry spokesperson Hossein Kermanpour said that 'in the past 12 days, hospitals witnessed extremely horrifying scenes,' confirming that at least 610 civilians have been killed and more than 4,700 injured. According to Kermanpour, the toll includes 44 women and 13 children among the dead, while 163 women were reported injured. He also noted that five doctors and paramedics were killed in Israeli airstrikes. Iran says 44 women, 13 children killed by Zionist attacks
Tehran - Saba: Hossein Kermanpour, head of the Public Relations and Information Center of the Iranian Ministry of Health, said 44 women and 13 children were martyred in the Zionist regime's terrorist attacks on the Islamic Republic of Iran. Kermanpour wrote in a post on the X platform on Monday: "Since the beginning of the Israeli regime's military aggression against the Iranian people, 44 women have been martyred and 163 others have been injured," according to the Iranian Mehr News Agency on Tuesday. He added: Two of the martyrs were pregnant mothers and died along with their fetuses. According to Kermanpour, 13 of the war martyrs were children, the youngest of whom was a two-month-old baby. He added: "The youngest war wounded victim is four years old and is currently in the intensive care unit with 50% burns." According to Iran's Tasnim News Agency, Kermanpour noted that two of the female martyrs were pregnant and lost their lives along with their unborn babies. In a post on social media, he stated that 163 women have been injured since the beginning of the aggression. Among the child victims was a two-month-old infant, the youngest killed, while the youngest injured is a four-year-old child currently in the ICU with burns covering 50% of his body. Iran says no radiation detected after US strikes on nuclear sites
Iran's health ministry says those injured in the US attacks on nuclear facilities have not been exposed to radiation. Ministry spokesperson Hossein Kermanpour wrote on X that 'none of the injured individuals who were transferred to these centres following the American bombardment showed any signs of radioactive contamination'. He noted that Iran had long prepared for such incidents. 'For years, the ministry of health has set up nuclear emergency units in the nearest medical facilities to nuclear sites,' Kermanpour said. The ministry did not say how many people were wounded in the strikes.
