Kerr Reynolds completes Hull City medical ahead of move from Hamilton Accies
The 16-year-old is heading to the Tigers after impressing the English Championship side Hamilton Accies youngster Kerr Reynolds has completed his medical at Hull City ahead of finalising a move down south. Lanarkshire Live Sport exclusively revealed on Tuesday that League One Accies were in negotiations with the English Championship side and a deal for a significant fee plus add-ons was close to completion. Now the 16-year-old has passed his medical and will complete his move shortly. Accies will collect a minimum of £75,000 from the standard training compensation fee and it is understood there are significant add ons that the club will pick up for certain appearance milestones. Accies owner Seref Zengin has ties to Tigers supremo Acun Ilicali and the clubs have worked together previously to arrange a trial for Accies youngster Lewis Latona last season. Reynolds came through the youth ranks at Accies over the last few years and has been capped for Scotland under-15s and under-16s. The 16-year-old follows in the footsteps of ex-Accies stars Ryan One, Gabe Forsyth and Josh MacDonald in making the move down south, with the trio having joined Sheffield United, Norwich City and Leeds United, respectively.

Hull City to snap up talented Hamilton Accies youth goalkeeper
The clubs are close to an agreement that will see Kerr Reynolds become the latest Accies kid to land a move down south Hull City are set to sign young Hamilton Accies goalkeeper Kerr Reynolds in a deal worth six-figures to the Lanarkshire side. Lanarkshire Live Sport understands League One Accies are in negotiations with the English Championship side and a deal for a significant fee plus sell-ons is close to completion. Accies will collect a minimum of £75,000 from the standard training compensation fee. Accies owner Seref Zengin has ties to Tigers supremo Acun Ilicali and the clubs have worked together previously to arrange a trial for Accies youngster Lewis Latona last season. Reynolds was first snapped up by Accies' Lanarkshire rivals Motherwell in 2009 on a pro-youth contract and had previous spells in academies at Rangers and Celtic. He has since come through the youth ranks at Accies over the last few years, earning international experience with Scotland's under-15s. He was selected to represent his country at Under 15 level in April 2024 made his debut against Hong Kong in a 3-1 victory. Reynolds has since gone on to play for the under-16s in the Victory Shield, making the match-winning save in a penalty shootout triumph over Republic of Ireland in October last year. He also featured against Wales and Northern Ireland. The 16-year-old would follow in the footsteps of a number of Accies youngsters who have made the move down south in teh last couple of years. Striker Ryan One has made a big leap to Sheffield United, while midfielder Gabe Forsyth joined Norwich City, Nottingham Forest snapped up midfielder Cormac Daly and Leeds United landed winger Josh McDonald.
