'Dude, You're Fat' Rant Against Mahomes Fuels Chiefs Fans Firing Demands

'Dude, You're Fat' Rant Against Mahomes Fuels Chiefs Fans Firing Demands originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes' body has been the subject of a vicious verbal beatdown by local radio host Kevin Kietzman, but Patrick's trainer, Bobby Stroupe, isn't letting it slide. ... Advertisement And nor are Chiefs fans, who want the media personality fired as a result of his incendiary remarks. Speaking on his podcast, "Kevin Kietzman Has Issues," Kietzman went on a rant about the three-time Super Bowl champ's body. "Vacation photos are popping up of Patrick Mahomes, and he's fat," Kietzman said. "I'm gonna say it, and I'm gonna tell you the truth, he's an embarrassment. You're a $500 million quarterback, you've made all these comments in the offseason that, 'We're gonna do our talking on the field, we got our butts kicked in the Super Bowl, we're coming back with a vengeance.' 'Dude, you're fat. Your belly would be fat at my pool, hanging out with us, 60-year-olds. My skin is flabbier than yours, I get it. Stop. Stop the fast food. Do a sit-up. Do something." Advertisement That's a whack at Mahomes, but don't worry, Stroupe quickly tried to put the radio host in his place. Mahomes' trainer took to X to not only respond to the bizarre comments but also to issue a challenge to the radio host. "You obviously need attention," Stroupe posted. "If you want to see what in-shape is, go make it through a practice at Saint Jo or run a hurry-up offense scrambling back-to-back plays." And one final post that we hope Kietzman sees. "Send me your location," Stroupe posted. Kietzman has a KC radio history as a shock jock, and local fans are likely aware of this. Nevertheless, as documented at The Spun, there is clearly a movement to have him fired. Advertisement As to the trainer? Challenge issued. Now let's see if the radio host will be just as fierce in his comments when faced with the reality of what an NFL player does as far as workouts … and of course, with all that MVP Mahomes has accomplished with his infamous 'dad bod' — all of which obviously works for him. Patrick Mahomes' trainer attacks controversial Kansas City radio host over 'fat' jibe

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes ' beloved trainer Bobby Stroupe has attacked a Kansas City radio host over his previous 'fat' jibe about the three-time Super Bowl winner ahead of the upcoming season. Mahomes toasted the Fourth of July in style as he partied with longtime wife Brittany and a group of their close friends on a luxury yacht over the weekend. In photos shared by Brittany and other members of the party, the three-time Super Bowl winner showed off his 'dad bod' after going shirtless while wearing blue trunks. Local radio host Kevin Kietzman did not find the quarterback's physique worthy of an NFL starter, ripping into Mahomes on the latest episode of his podcast 'Kevin Kietzman Has Issues' and urged him to 'stop the fast food' - an assessment which has sparked fury online. Now, Stroupe has responded to the insult on behalf of his most high-profile client. 'Send me your location,' Stroupe said in a deleted social-media post, per TMZ. 'You obviously need attention. If you want to see what in shape is - go make it through a practice at Saint [Joseph] or run hurry up offense scrambling back to back to back plays. You don't have a clue what it takes. It's not a look, it's performance.' Kietzman has since doubled down on his harsh critique of the Kansas City living legend, claiming he is certain Stroupe did not hear his full remarks about Mahomes. 'Here is a fair and accurate assessment of my commentary,' Stroupe posted with a social media link. 'I don't want⁦ @PatrickMahomes to become Ben Roethlisberger who won big as young player and then just got big. I want him to lock in like ⁦@TomBrady ⁩ in his 30's and chase him down.' Kietzman - who was infamously taken off the air and fired by Kansas City radio station WHB in 2019 for linking Chiefs head coach Andy Reid's fallout with ex-player Tyreek Hill to his late son's drug overdose- sparked fury on social media. Mahomes has been known throughout his career to not have chiseling abs, yet, being effective enough to guide the Chiefs to seven straight conference championship game appearances. 'Vacation photos are popping up of Patrick Mahomes, and he's fat. I'm gonna say it, and I'm gonna tell you the truth, he's an embarrassment,' the controversial personality said. 'You're a $500m quarterback, you've made all these comments in the offseason that "we're gonna do our talking on the field, we got our butts kicked in the Super Bowl, we're coming back with a vengeance"... Dude, you're fat. Your belly would be fat at my pool, hanging out with us, 60 year olds.' Fans responded to harshly, echoing the comments from Stroupe in defense of Mahomes. 'He's a f***ing idiot,' one user said about the radio host.

Kansas City Radio Host Has Issue With Patrick Mahomes' Body

Kansas City Radio Host Has Issue With Patrick Mahomes' Body originally appeared on The Spun. Patrick Mahomes has embraced his "dad bod" while achieving unparalleled success for the Kansas City Chiefs. A local radio host nevertheless threw a temper tantrum over the star quarterback's physique. Advertisement Photos surfaced of a shirtless Mahomes celebrating the Fourth of July with family and friends. His body wasn't chiseled enough for Kevin Kietzman, who ranted about the three-time Super Bowl champion. "Vacation photos are popping up of Patrick Mahomes, and he's fat," Kietzman said on Kevin Kietzman Has Issues. "I'm gonna say it, and I'm gonna tell you the truth. He's an embarrassment." Surely, some guy with a radio show knows more about physical training than an NFL superstar and his team. "You're a $500 million quarterback," Kietzman continued. "You've made all these comments in the offseason that, 'We're gonna do our talking on the field, we got our butts kicked in the Super Bowl, we're coming back with a vengeance'... Dude, you're fat. Your belly would be fat at my pool, hanging out with us 60-year-olds. Stop. Stop the fast food. Do a sit-up. Do something." Advertisement Well, Kietzman tried warning everyone about him with his show's title. NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA - FEBRUARY 09: Patrick Mahomes #15 of the Kansas City Chiefs reacts in the fourth quarter against the Philadelphia Eagles during Super Bowl LIX at Caesars Superdome on February 09, 2025 in New Orleans, Louisiana. (Photo by)It should go without saying, but Mahomes is obviously in better shape than the overwhelming majority of said 60-year-olds complaining because he doesn't have six-pack abs. Mahomes may not be as diligent about his body as Tom Brady, and perhaps the 29-year-old could cut down on the Coors Light. However, the two-time MVP hasn't missed a game due to injury -- despite spraining his ankle last year -- in the last four seasons. In fact, Mahomes has often credited his "dad bod" for helping him absorb hits and stay healthy through a grueling NFL season. Advertisement Don't count on the Chiefs following in the Dallas Mavericks' footsteps and trading their superstar player because of his physique. Mahomes will continue to bolster his legacy as a future Hall of Famer while loudmouths like Kietzman yell nonsense for attention. Radio host demands Patrick Mahomes 'stop the fast food' as weight concerns arise

A Kansas City radio host and podcaster ripped Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes as new photos surfaced of him celebrating the Fourth of July holiday with his wife, Brittany. Kevin Kietzman, the host of "Uncanceled" on KCMO Talk Radio and the "Kevin Kietzman Has Issues" podcast, suggested that Mahomes gained weight over the offseason and demanded the quarterback "stop the fast food." "Vacation photos are popping up of Patrick Mahomes, and he's fat. I'm gonna say it, and I'm gonna tell you the truth, that's why you hit the play button, he's an embarrassment," he said. "You're a $500 million quarterback, you've made all these comments in the offseason that 'We're gonna do our talking on the field, we got our butts kicked in the Super Bowl, we're coming back with a vengeance.' Dude, you're fat. Your belly would be fat at my pool, hanging out with us, 60 year olds. My skin is flabbier than yours, I get it. Stop. Stop the fast food. Do a sit-up. Do something. "Yeah, I'm sure he's worked out and he's strengthened his arm and he's done all kind of different things, quarterback things, but there's no training to this man. I don't understand it. He's not a kid anymore, you can't just run through your NFL career eating Taco Bell all the time and Door Dashing fried chicken, which he loves.… It's time dude. It's time. "Going to camp and getting in shape is like 1970s baseball – nobody does that anymore. That's not how it works at the highest level. I only do this as a precaution because I love the guy. He's an enormous talent. But I cannot stand it when I see somebody just sit back on their talent and not be the best that they are." Mahomes had previously gone viral for having a so-called "dad bod" and even teamed up with Coors Light to lean into that notion. "I'll also say I have a great body for a quarterback," he told Time Magazine last year. "You've got to have some padding in there to take the hits that we take." Mahomes is listed at 225 pounds as he gets ready for Year 9. Kletzman said it "wasn't a weight thing" for him but rather a core issue and implored the quarterbac kto "do some crunches."
