5th gen stealth fighter jet to get Brahmos, Rudram and Astra, Pakistan, China shivering with fear as India gets offer from...

New Delhi: Russia has proposed to sell state-of-the-art fighter jets like Su-57E and Su-35M to India. Here we will discuss how this proposal can strengthen India's defense capability and how it can be a big step towards India's strategic independence, technological progress, and self-reliance. What is India's current position? India's geographical location and the possibility of war on two fronts (China and Pakistan) is such that it will always have to be alert. In the current circumstances, the Indian Air Force needs fighter jets with technologically advanced and multi-faceted capabilities. This is the reason why India is not only working on domestic projects like AMCA but is also trying to acquire modern technology from strategic partners. What will be the impact of these Russian fighter jets? The Su-57E and Su-35M proposed by Russia can give a new dimension to this effort of India. Su-57E is a 5th generation stealth multirole fighter jet, while Su-35M is an advanced 4.5 generation fighter aircraft. The proposal sent to India by Russia's state company Rostec and Sukhoi includes the export version of Su-57E, which includes stealth technology, supersonic speed and multirole operation. What will be the benefit to Indian Air Force? Russia's state company can also provide source code and manufacturing rights. With its help, India will be able to make technical improvements as per its convenience. It has been proposed to give immediate delivery of Su-35M, which will give immediate operational edge to the Indian Air Force. Su-57E fighter jet has been specially designed for stealth operation, internal weapon way and 3D thrust vectoring. It can maintain a speed of up to Mach 1.6 (1975 km/h) without afterburner and the maximum speed can go up to Mach 2 (2450 km/h). Which weapons can be fitted on these jets? The Su-57E fighter jet has R-77M air-to-air missile, Kh-69 cruise missile and GROM glide bomb as its main weapons. The Russian fighter jet can also be integrated with Indian missile systems like BrahMos, Rudram and Astra. Real time communication with other aircraft and control room is also possible through its data link system. The biggest advantage for India with the Su-57E is that it can incorporate its own software and missile systems, which gives strategic independence.

Ukrainian drones strike Russian missile plant near Moscow – photos, video

Ukrainian drones struck the Raduga plant in Dubna, Russia, which produces cruise missiles, on the night of 27-28 May. Sources: Ukrainska Pravda; General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram Details: Ukrainian long-range drones, operated by the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU), bypassed air defence systems protecting Moscow and hit the assembly and equipment workshops of the State Machine Building Design Bureau Raduga named after Aleksandr Bereznyak, located 130 kilometres north of Moscow in Dubna (Russia). The workshops are currently on fire. The plant, which is part of the Tactical Missile Armament Corporation, produces cruise missiles of various classes, including air-to-air, air-to-ground and ground-to-ground types, such as the Kh-101/555, Kh-69, and Kh-59MK missiles, which Russia uses to attack civilian targets in Ukraine. Ukraine's General Staff reports that the plant is also part of Kronstadt JSC, which specialises in unmanned aircraft systems. The facility manufactures UAVs including Orion, Inokhodets, Molniya, Grom, Termit, Helios and Sirius, as well as ground control systems. That same night, Ukrainian defence forces also struck Angstrem JSC in Moscow Oblast (Russia). A hit was recorded in the target area. The company develops and produces microelectronic components widely used by Russia's defence industrial base. The previous day, Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces successfully attacked the Dmitrovsky combine in Ivanovo Oblast (Russia). Explosions were recorded at the facility, which produces organic chemicals, including components for explosives and gunpowder, as well as additives for rocket and aviation fuel.
