4-star edge Khamari Brooks sets his commitment date

The Georgia Bulldogs have been on a recruiting hot streak and now another top UGA target has set his commitment date. On Tuesday, North Oconee EDGE Khamari Brooks locked in his commitment date and will choose between Georgia and Alabama. He is one of many Georgia targets that have recently announced their commitment dates. Brooks, a four-star prospect, is the No. 14 edge rusher and No. 112 prospect in the nation. He will make his decision known on June 23. Advertisement He visited Georgia on May 30 and the Alabama Crimson Tide on June 6. Both teams gave them their final pitches to the elite recruit. Brooks recently narrowed his list down to the Bulldogs and Crimson Tide. That came less than a week ago after his visit to Alabama. Brooks plays high school football just 20 minutes from the Georgia football facility and the connection runs deeper. The Bulldogs signed his former teammate four-star wide receiver Landon Roldan from North Oconee in the last recruiting cycle. Both players were key contributors in helping the North Oconee Titans secure the school's first-ever football state championship last season. Georgia's 2026 class ranks fifth in the nation after another aggressive start to June recruiting. The Bulldogs' class features one five-star recruit, nine four-star recruits, and four three-star recruits. Nation's No. 7 defensive lineman announces commitment date

Four-star defensive lineman PJ Dean announced that he will make his college decision on Monday, June 30 and choose among Ohio State, Georgia, and South Carolina, according to Hayes Fawcett. Dean is a four-star defensive lineman from the class of 2026. The 6-foot-5, 255-pound defensive lineman plays football for West Forsyth High School in Clemmons, North Carolina. He is ranked as the No. 7 defensive lineman and No. 66 prospect in the nation. Dean is the No. 6 recruit in North Carolina. Advertisement Dean has no more scheduled official visits, but visited South Carolina on May 30, Georgia on June 6, and Ohio State on June 13, so all that's left for him is to announce his commitment at West Forsyth High School. If Dean commits to Georgia, then he will add to the immense defensive line talent in Georgia's class of 2026. Dean would be joined by three-star JUCO recruit Seven Cloud and three-star Norcross recruit Carter Luckie in the defensive tackle room. New four-star edge rusher commit Khamari Brooks and three-star edge rusher Corey Howard could line up alongside him. Dean would be Georgia's highest ranked defensive line commitment. Georgia's current defensive line includes a lot of new faces after the majority of the 2024 group left for the 2025 NFL draft. Junior Christen Miller, the most experienced player in Georgia's defensive line room, will start at defensive end, while sophomore Jordan Hall figures to take the starting nose tackle spot. Junior Gabe Harris looks to be a starting edge rusher, while incoming Army transfer Elo Modozie is projected to start in the Jack linebacker spot alongside them.
