In the realm of Indian cinema, few actresses have maintained an air of mystery around their personal lives while delivering consistently powerful performances. This enigmatic star, known for her versatility and depth, has often been the subject of public curiosity regarding her relationships. Despite being linked with several prominent figures, she has chosen to keep her personal affairs private, focusing instead on her illustrious career. Who is this actress? Here we are talking about one of the finest actresses in Indian Cinema, Tabu, born as Tabassum Fatima Hashmi. Her journey in the film industry has been marked by critically acclaimed roles and a deliberate choice to remain single. Tabu's first known relationship was with actor Sanjay Kapoor during the filming of their debut movie, 'Prem,' helmed by renowned actor-director Late Satish Kaushik. Although their romance was short-lived, it garnered significant media attention. Subsequently, she was linked to director-producer Sajid Nadiadwala. Their relationship reportedly blossomed during the making of the film 'Sunny Deol- Salman Khan starrer Jeet.' However, Sajid's lingering feelings for his late wife, Divya Bharti, created a barrier to commitment, leading to their eventual separation. Was Tabu in relationship with Nagarjuna? Perhaps the most talked-about chapter in Tabu's personal life was her decade-long relationship with South Indian superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni. Despite Nagarjuna being married, their bond was strong and enduring. Tabu reportedly hoped for a future together, but realizing that Nagarjuna would not leave his wife, she chose to end the relationship. This decision, though painful, highlighted her strength and self-respect. Interestingly, Nagarjuna has referred to Tabu as a 'fantastic friend,' indicating the depth of their past connection. More about Tabu On the professional front, Tabu continues to captivate audiences with her performances. In 2023, she starred in the spy thriller 'Khufiya,' directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, portraying a Research and Analysis Wing operative. Ali Fazal On His Big-Screen Comeback With Thug Life & Metro… In Dino: ‘Feels Like Coming Home'

Last Updated: Ali Fazal returns to the big screen with Thug Life and Metro… In Dino, calling it a 'homecoming.' He opens up about working with Mani Ratnam and Anurag Basu. After winning over audiences on the digital front with his powerhouse performances in Mirzapur, Khufiya, and the Hollywood action-thriller Kandahar, actor Ali Fazal is all set to make a triumphant return to the silver screen. The acclaimed star will next be seen in two hotly anticipated films: Thug Life, directed by Mani Ratnam and starring Kamal Haasan, and Metro… In Dino, helmed by Anurag Basu and slated to release next month. Reflecting on his return to theatres, Ali shares, 'Coming back to the big screen feels like coming home in so many ways. The last few years on OTT have been incredibly rewarding—I've been fortunate to explore a range of characters in Mirzapur and Khufiya. But there's a unique magic to the cinema hall, the collective experience of watching a story unfold with a room full of people—it's a feeling that nothing else can quite replicate." The actor, known for balancing nuanced performances with mainstream appeal, is especially thrilled about the two films that mark his cinematic re-entry. 'Thug Life with Mani Ratnam and Kamal Haasan is a dream come true," he says. 'Working with Mani Sir is nothing short of legendary, and sharing screen space with Kamal Sir is an honour I could never have imagined when I started out. I couldn't have asked for a better welcome back into the film world." Ali also spoke fondly about Metro… In Dino, calling it 'close to my heart." He adds, 'Anurag Basu's storytelling has always inspired me, and this film is such a beautiful tapestry of human emotions—being part of that is a privilege." Having carved out a distinctive space in the streaming era, Ali views this transition as a continuation rather than a return. 'I feel like I've grown so much as an actor in the OTT space, taking on roles that challenged me in unexpected ways. Now, as I step back into theatres, I'm bringing all those learnings and experiences with me." With both Thug Life and Metro… In Dino promising to blend scale with soul, Ali Fazal's return to the big screen is undoubtedly one of the most awaited film moments of the year. First Published:
