By signing up I agree to the Terms of Use and acknowledge that I have read the Privacy Policy . You may unsubscribe from email communication at anytime. A value-packed sedan with a sleek look Kia's K5 has always punched above its weight in the midsize sedan segment. With its sharp styling, smooth ride, and long list of standard features, the K5 brings a little drama to an otherwise practical category. Now, thanks to a new lease offer for July, it's more attainable than ever. Starting this month, Kia is offering a standout 36-month lease on the 2025 K5 LXS. While the K5 has never been the flashiest car on the road, it's quietly become one of the best-kept secrets in the segment, especially for buyers who want comfort, tech, and efficiency without stepping into crossover territory. Previous Pause Next Unmute 0:00 / 0:09 Full screen Costco members can save $3,000 on a new Chevy Corvette Watch More July lease offer makes the K5 hard to ignore The headline deal is for the entry-level LXS trim, which includes a turbocharged engine, front and rear parking sensors, Smart Cruise Control, and Kia's new dual-display cockpit, standard for 2025. This lease costs $279 per month for 36 months, with a down payment of $3,499 due at signing. That's based on an MSRP of $28,565, and it's available through August 4, 2025. 2025 Kia K5 — Source: Kia While the down payment is steeper than some competing offers, the low monthly payment brings the overall cost into highly competitive territory, especially when you consider what you're getting. The K5's sleek fastback silhouette, quiet cabin, and responsive steering make it feel more premium than its price tag would suggest. What's new for the 2025 Kia K5 For 2025, Kia gave the K5 a tech-forward refresh. The standout change is the dual-screen setup, combining a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster with a matching center touchscreen. It gives the cabin a more modern look and feel, complemented by a streamlined dashboard and improved software interface. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are now standard, along with a host of safety tech. Autoblog Newsletter Autoblog brings you car news; expert reviews and exciting pictures and video. It may not be a rocket ship, but the K5 balances solid acceleration with excellent fuel economy, making it ideal for commuters who still want a little fun behind the wheel. Comfortable, efficient, and easy to live with Driving the K5 feels more refined than you might expect. The suspension handles rough roads with composure, and the cabin remains quiet even at highway speeds. The front seats offer good support for longer trips, and rear-seat passengers won't be left wanting for legroom. 2025 Kia K5 — Source: Kia It's also one of the few sedans in this price range that still looks exciting. From its wide front grille to its coupe-like roofline, the K5 avoids the bland, anonymous look that plagues many of its rivals. With Kia's industry-leading warranty coverage, the peace of mind adds even more value. Final thoughts Kia's July lease special puts the spotlight back on the K5, an often-overlooked sedan that checks all the right boxes. If you're looking for a stylish, well-equipped car that's fun to drive and won't break the bank, this lease might be worth a test drive. Just make sure to act before the deal expires. *Disclaimer: This article is provided for informational purposes only. Meet the electric Kia Sportage: new EV5 revealed
Kia has revealed technical specifications for the European version of its EV5 electric SUV, which gets a different battery from the Chinese-market car launched two years ago. It swaps the Chinese model's lithium-iron-phosphate pack for the 81.4kWh nickel-manganese-cobalt unit that is also offered in the smaller EV3 and EV4. This is claimed to yield a range of up to 329 miles. It can be charged at up to 120kW on a DC connection, which enables a 10-80% refill in half an hour. The battery also has vehicle-to-load and vehicle-to-grid capabilities, allowing it to power external devices or the wider electrical grid. The European EV5 will be offered with only one powertrain at launch: a single front-mounted motor with outputs of 215bhp and 218lb ft. This allows it to cover 0-62mph in 8.4sec. The 302bhp four-wheel-drive set-up available in China will not be offered at launch. It is possible that Kia will also offer a GT version with more power, a firmer suspension set-up and simulated gearchanges in due course. The EV6 and EV9 have already received this treatment and the EV4 is likely to be next in line. Inside, it gets 12.3in displays for instruments and infotainment, as well as a 5.3in climate control touch panel. The bench-style front seats in the Chinese EV5 are swapped for a more conventional two-seat arrangement with a larger centre console. European-market EV5s will be built in Korea, rather than China, sidestepping the European Union's tariffs on Chinese-built EVs. The first EV5s will arrive in the UK this winter. Prices have yet to be confirmed but the EV4 Long Range starts from £37,695 and the EV6 Long Range is priced from £45,585, which suggests it could start just below the £40,000 mark. That would position it as a rival for the likes of the Audi Q4 E-tron, Nissan Ariya and Hyundai Ioniq 5.

Kia Launches Killer Soul Lease Offer for July
By signing up I agree to the Terms of Use and acknowledge that I have read the Privacy Policy . You may unsubscribe from email communication at anytime. A quirky and practical compact gets the spotlight The Kia Soul has long stood out for its playful design and clever use of space. It doesn't pretend to be a rugged SUV or a sporty hatchback—instead, it embraces its boxy charm and makes the most of it. That shape isn't just for show either. The tall roofline and upright proportions translate to real-world practicality, offering far more interior space than its modest footprint suggests. 0:00 / 0:09 2024 Kia EV6 GT-Line review: Is this the EV that will convert you? Watch More Despite being compact, the Soul has always punched above its weight in terms of passenger room and cargo flexibility. It's an ideal choice for city dwellers who want something easy to park but still roomy enough for road trips or weekend hauls. For drivers who prioritize comfort, value, and a unique aesthetic, it continues to be one of the most appealing options in its class. The lease deal that makes it even sweeter For July, Kia is offering a standout lease on the 2025 Soul that makes it even more compelling. Pricing starts at $259 per month for 36 months, with $3,499 due at signing, and the same monthly rate is also available for a 24-month lease, giving buyers some flexibility. These terms apply to the LX trim and assume a 10,000-mile annual limit, which should be sufficient for most drivers. 2025 Kia Soul — Source: Kia The deal is available in many markets across the U.S., though pricing and availability can vary by region and dealership. For instance, around New York City and Miami, the monthly payment drops to $249, but in Dallas, customers will still have to fork over the full $259 a month. Compared to other small crossovers, the Soul's lease sits comfortably below average, especially when you factor in the up-front cost. What you get for the money Under the hood, the 2025 Soul comes with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 147 horsepower, mated to a smooth CVT. It's not a powerhouse, but it handles daily driving duties with ease and delivers solid fuel efficiency. Kia estimates 30 mpg combined. 2025 Kia Soul — Source: Kia Even the base LX trim is surprisingly well equipped. You get an 8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a suite of standard safety features including forward collision avoidance, lane keeping assist, and driver attention warning. The cabin materials are respectable for the price point, and the ride is quiet and composed over rough pavement. Add in excellent visibility, a comfortable driving position, and Kia's generous warranty coverage, and the Soul quickly becomes a smart pick for value-focused shoppers. Final thoughts The 2025 Kia Soul continues to offer a rare combination of personality, practicality, and price. While it lacks all-wheel drive and doesn't try to be sporty, it nails the basics—and now, with July's lease offer, it's easier than ever to get behind the wheel. 2025 Kia Soul — Source: Kia As always, make sure to confirm with your local dealer, since pricing can shift based on your location, credit profile, and inventory. If you're in the market for a distinctive and budget-friendly ride, the Soul might just be the one. *Disclaimer: This article is provided for informational purposes only. Kia K4: Pros & Cons
Certain vehicle segments come and go, but compact sedans are forever. In 2025, there are some truly excellent options to choose from, ranging from our 2024 top choice—the Honda Civic—to podium finishers like the Hyundai Elantra and the Toyota Corolla. Kia's former Forte fell to the bottom of the respective pack. But a nifty name change, a sharp redesign, and a fresh interior help propel the new K4 to near the top of the heap. It's still no Civic, but Kia's latest compact makes a strong case for itself. Quick Specs 2025 Kia K4 GT-Line Engine Turbocharged 1.6-Liter Four-Cylinder Output 190 Horsepower / 195 Pound-Feet Transmission Eight-Speed Automatic Fuel Economy 26 City / 36 Highway / 29 Combined Base Price / As Tested $23,165 / $31,445 Kia K4 Pros Photo by: Jeff Perez / Motor1 Sharp Looks Punchy Engine Premium Interior One thing you can't fault Kia for is its designs—the K4 is no exception. Like the larger K5, it looks sharp. Angular headlights connect across the hoodline via the company's signature 'Tiger Nose' grille, while shapely taillights are joined in the rear by a light bar that runs the width of the trunk lid. And where some other compact sedans look stumpy in profile, the K4 is sleek, and honestly, not much of a downgrade visually from the larger K5. Depending on which trim you choose, Kia offers a standard 2.0-liter four-cylinder or a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder. For something sportier, choose the latter; the K4's turbocharged engine makes 190 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque in this GT-Line Turbo model. It's a punchy, direct, and surprisingly powerful engine for such a small car. Best of all, this model swaps the standard CVT for an eight-speed automatic. The GT-Line Turbo also has a surprisingly nice interior compared to the rest of the K4 range—hell, compared to most compact sedans. A 'SynTex' faux leather covers most surfaces, and it does a decent impression of real cowhide. The steering wheel looks good and, where so many automakers opt for touch-capacitive, the K4 still has plenty of real buttons—including a nifty volume roller. Dual 12.3-inch screens occupy the dash, one for the instrument cluster and another for the central infotainment. The K4 employs Kia's latest user interface software, which is clean, concise, and easy to use while on the move. And of course, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard. Kia K4 Cons Photo by: Jeff Perez / Motor1 Noisy at Speed Cabin Isn't Super Comfy Best Stuff Is Pricey One thing you will notice when driving the K4 at highway speeds is that it isn't nearly as quiet as a comparable Civic. There's a decent amount of wind and road noise, enough that you won't be able to speak to your passengers without having to raise your voice slightly at higher speeds. The cabin isn't super comfy, either. While the faux leather looks and feels nice, the seats themselves are stiff—it's like you're sitting on them rather than in them. Maybe they take more time to break in. Most of the surfaces are hard to the touch, as well, and when combined with the obvious road noise, it makes for a less-than-pleasant driving experience over longer bouts. And if you do want the best engine and the nicest features, your only option is the priciest trim. Kia doesn't offer the turbocharged engine on any model other than the GT-Line Turbo—which starts at $29,265 with destination included. You can't even get the LED headlights or full combination LED taillights unless you go with the top trim. The good news is that, if you don't need any of those features, the base Kia K4 starts at just $23,165 for the standard LX model. And even without the best engine or the nicest features, the K4 is a solid compact sedan that gives the Honda Civic and Hyundai Elantra a run for their money. Kia Just Had Its Best Six Months of Sales In History: 'A Milestone'
For all the doom and gloom surrounding the new-car market, some companies are thriving. Kia, for example, just reported its best first half of sales in company history. Through June, Kia sold nearly half a million cars in the US—416,511 units, to be exact. That number represents an increase of 8 percent over the previous year and marks the highest figure in the company's 32 years of sales in the US. By comparison, Kia sold just 386,460 vehicles through June in 2024. Kia's Best-Selling Cars Kia had two top sellers in June: The Sportage SUV and the K4 sedan. The company sold 12,630 examples of the Sportage and 11,564 examples of the K4. The Telluride was third with 9,239 units, followed by the Sorento with 7,050 units. The Kia K5 saw the biggest sales jump year over year. The mid-size sedan improved from 3,771 units last June to 5,613 units this year—an impressive 170-percent increase. Kia sold 65,929 cars in the first six months of 2024. Photo by: Kia "In the face of uncertain market conditions, Kia delivered a record-breaking first-half sales performance, a milestone made possible by the continued interest from consumers in our well-designed, technologically advanced lineup," said SeungKyu (Sean) Yoon, president and CEO of Kia North America and Kia America. "We expect this positive sales trajectory to continue," Yoon notes. 'In the second half of 2025, Kia will remain agile in our response to changing market conditions and steadfast in our commitment to delivering products and services that meet the expectations of US consumers." Can Kia Sustain That Sales Success? Kia hopes to keep the sales momentum going in the second half of the year with new models like the K4 hatchback and EV4 . Plus, the company just recently announced updates to its perennial best sellers for 2026, with some models actually getting cheaper for the new year. The EV9 GT gets a $2,000 price cut for 2026, while the compact Kia Seltos sees its base price drop by $1,000 . The Carnival remains the cheapest minivan on sale in the US , and the Sportage still comes in at under $30,000 to start.
