The South Korean superstar has scored multiple smashes on some of the United Kingdom's songs rankings that are focused on pure purchases, as fans of the singer and rapper love to show how much they care by buying his music, not just pressing play on streaming sites. His latest single, 'Killin' It Girl,' almost doubles J-Hope's number of champions on one tally in the country…but it misses out by a single spot. 'Killin' It Girl' Debuts at No. 2 'Killin' It Girl,' a collaboration with rapper GloRilla, debuts on the Official Physical Singles chart at No. 2 this week. The BTS powerhouse is beaten to the summit by 'A Little Love,' the latest release from Scottish rock band Biffy Clyro. J-Hope Adds Another Major Hit to His Growing Tally J-Hope has only sent a pair of tracks to the Official Physical Singles ranking throughout his career. He appeared on the tally for the first time just a few months ago, when 'Sweet Dreams' — a collaboration with R&B superstar Miguel — reached No. 1 and spent 12 weeks as a bestseller. 'Killin' It Girl' Rules Two U.K. Charts 'Killin' It Girl' debuts on four charts in the U.K., and it rules half of them. While the track misses the No. 1 space on the Official Physical Singles ranking, it does command both the Official Singles Sales and Official Singles Downloads tallies. The win earns the South Korean musician his fourth leader and milestone tenth tune on the two rosters. A Top 40 Debut Marks a Career Best for Both Artists It's a big week for J-Hope in the U.K., as he also rises to a never-before-seen high point on the Official Singles chart, which ranks the most consumed songs throughout the nation. 'Killin' It Girl' opens at No. 30, bringing both he and GloRilla to new peaks and earning the two artists a debut top 40 smash across the Atlantic.

J-Hope Earns His First Top 40 Hit Without BTS

J-Hope scores his first solo top 40 hit on the Hot 100 (outside of his work with BTS) with 'Killin' ... More It Girl,' which debuts at No. 40, and becomes an instant bestseller. PARIS, FRANCE - JUNE 24: (EDITORIAL USE ONLY - For Non-Editorial use please seek approval from Fashion House) J-Hope attends the Louis Vuitton Menswear Spring/Summer 2026 show as part of Paris Fashion Week on June 24, 2025 in Paris, France. (Photo by) J-Hope is one of the most successful members of BTS when it comes to solo careers. He has produced multiple collections on his own and claims one of the largest accumulations of Hot 100 hits among all South Korean solo musicians. 2025 has been a particularly productive year for the singer and rapper, and as his new tune 'Killin' It Girl' arrives on the American charts, he reaches a very important position for the first time. J-Hope's 'Killin' It Girl' Debuts Inside the Top 40 J-Hope's new single, 'Killin' It Girl' — a collaboration with rapper GloRilla — launches on this week's Hot 100 at No. 40. The track earns the BTS star his first top 40 placement on Billboard's list of the most consumed songs in the U.S., at least on his own. As a member of the K-pop boy band, he's not only reached that region, but scored multiple No. 1s. It Took J-Hope Eight Tries to Crack the Top 40 Amazingly, J-Hope needed to place eight songs on the Hot 100 throughout his solo career before he cracked the top 40. Prior to 'Killin' It Girl,' his loftiest appearance came alongside J. Cole with 'On the Street.' That rap tune debuted and peaked at No. 60 in March 2023. A Track Record of Hot 100 Success J-Hope became one of the first South Korean solo musicians to land on the Hot 100 more than half a decade ago. He and Becky G sent 'Chicken Noodle Soup' to No. 81 back in October 2019. Half of his eight wins on the tally have arrived in 2025 alone, as 'LV Bag' (alongside Don Toliver, Pharrell Williams, and Speedy), 'Sweet Dreams' (with Miguel), and 'Mona Lisa' have all spent one turn on the ranking. 'Killin' It Girl' Performs Well Across the Billboard Charts 'Killin' It Girl' is a major hit for J-Hope on all four of the Billboard rankings on which it debuts this frame. While his top 40 start on the Hot 100 is impressive, the collaboration manages to launch inside the top five on the other three lists where it can be found. 'Killin' It Girl' enters the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. in the runner-up rung and the Billboard Global 200 at No. 3. The tune also dominates the Digital Song Sales ranking — the list of the top-selling individual tracks throughout America — with close to 18,500 pure purchases, according to Luminate.

(Photo by) J-Hope's massively successful 2025 continues, as his latest single becomes another chart win around the world. The BTS star's collaboration with rapper GloRilla, titled 'Killin' It Girl,' is a quick win in the United Kingdom, where the South Korean powerhouse reaches the top 10 on most lists with his latest smash. The cut even manages to bring the South Korean musician to a new career peak on one tally. J-Hope Hits a New Career High 'Killin' It Girl' launches at No. 30 on the Official Singles chart this week. As it arrives, the tune brings J-Hope to a career-best position on his own. He previously topped out in 2023 with "On the Street," his team-up with J. Cole. That track stood as his only top 40 win until now, as it spent a single frame at No. 37. GloRilla Also Rises Higher Than Ever GloRilla also reaches a new career-high point on the Official Singles chart at the same time with only her second win. Back in November 2024, "Whatchu Kno About Me" climbed to No. 93. She had to wait more than half a year before doubling her total number of placements on the tally. J-Hope's Fourth Solo Win of 2025 J-Hope has now racked up eight solo wins on the Official Singles chart. He debuted under his own name alongside Becky G with "Chicken Noodle Soup" more than half a decade ago. That track launched at No. 82 in October 2019, and at the time, he was one of the first K-pop soloists to appear on the roster. 'Killin' It Girl' is J-Hope's fourth solo smash this year. The tune hits four charts in the U.K. this week and finds even greater success on the slightly-less-competitive tallies. J-Hope's new offering starts at No. 1 on both the Official Singles Sales and Official Singles Downloads rankings. It narrowly misses the summit on the Official Physical Singles chart by just one space, beginning its journey in the runner-up spot on that roster.

J-Hope, while promoting his latest song 'Killin It Girl' featured on TWICE Sana 's popular variety show 'Sana's Fridge Interview.' The idols talked about memories, careers in the entertainment industry and more. J-Hope even cheekily revealed what his ideal type is during a Q&A segment in the show! J-Hope talks about ideal types and love interests As part of a regular segment on the variety show, Sana from TWICE asked the BTS rapper one of the most anticipated questions. Ever since the announcement of his feature on the show, fans have been looking forward to the burning question about the idol's love life and preferences. Sana, during the second half of the episode, asked J-Hope about what he looks for in a partner, surprising the 'MONA LISA' singer. J-Hope and Sana both laughed and joked about the fact that the question is no longer common in today's interviews and how the last time he was asked the question, he was 10 years younger. Looking for someone with a 'different perspective' from him The idol kept his answer short and quick and emphasised the fact that he's looking for a different personality when seeking a potential partner. He shared how important it is for the other person to be different from him and how their different perspective on things would matter to him. He explained the situation by putting forth a hypothetical question, saying, 'If I ask, what do you think is inside this pear drink? I'd probably answer simply that it has pear and some other ingredients. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 유일한 공식 무료 SOC 게임! 설치도 없습니다! 경복의 바다 다운로드 Undo But the other person might answer from a totally different perspective. J-Hope Dominates iTunes With What May Be Another Future Smash

2025 has been another busy year for J-Hope. The BTS star has spent the past several months doling out multiple solo singles, and he recently returned with yet another cut, "Killin' It Girl," alongside rapper GloRilla. The two are hoping to turn the tune into a major hit on the Billboard charts after its first full tracking frame concludes, and a quick look at the iTunes ranking in the United States suggests that the musicians may succeed. The South Korean singer and rapper has employed a familiar sales tactic — one that fans have enthusiastically supported. On Tuesday (June 17), J-Hope released an album full of remixes of "Killin' It Girl." The project includes 10 tracks, all of which are slightly altered versions of the single. For charting purposes, Billboard groups all versions of a title — including reworkings and those with additional featured artists — into one entity. That means sales and streams of all 10 tunes will count toward "Killin' It Girl" and help it when it comes to debuting on the weekly rankings. Fans of J-Hope have been quick to support the release in all its forms. All 10 iterations of the track appear on the iTunes Top Songs chart as of the time of writing. The original version sits inside the top 10, and it is currently sitting at No. 8. Several of the remixes — including those named with descriptors like Band, Electro Pop, West Coast, Soul, Boom Bap, and even the instrumental — are also present inside the top 40 on the tally. It's common these days for BTS members to drop a track and then share multiple new versions several days later when releasing solo material. This strategy has worked well for many of the seven singers in the past, and it often leads to impressive sales sums that propel tracks like "Killin' It Girl" to rankings such as the Digital Song Sales chart and the Hot 100, which is certainly the goal for J-Hope and GloRilla. "Killin' It Girl" marks J-Hope's fourth solo release of 2025. Throughout the spring, he dropped three tracks: "LV Bag" with Don Toliver, Speedy, and Pharrell Williams, as well as his own "Sweet Dreams" with Miguel and "Mona Lisa." So far, he hasn't announced a proper EP or album collecting all these cuts, but such a project could be in the works.
