New Kinetic Electric Scooter Spied- To Get Retro-Inspired Look?
Kinetic is making a comeback in the Indian market by carving out its space among electric two-wheeler manufacturers in the country. It's no secret that the brand is working on the development of a new electric scooter, as evidenced by the patent images leaked earlier. Now, the new model of the brand has been spied testing in the country. However, it holds back lots of details because of heavy camouflage. Here we take a look at what the details revealed by the latest images of the EV. Based on the pictures, the electric scooter's design seems to be inspired by the Kinetic Honda ZX. This is visible in the form of a rather boxy headlamp design with minimalist side panels and a slim design for the apron. Taking a closer look, it also seems to have a faux flyscreen and rectangular LED reflector headlights. Meanwhile, the turn indicators have a look similar to the older Kinetic logo. Moving ahead, the Kinetic electric scooter also gets a flat floorboard and a seemingly bulky body with rather flat side panels without any curves or creases. This might mean that the EV will get a rather big battery pack. These hint that scooter might enter the territory of models like TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, Ather Rizta, Hero Vida V2, and others. The electric scooter seems to be equipped with a hub-mounter motor, something that we have seen on multiple models of the brand. Along with it, the EV gets dual telescopic front suspension and dual shock absorbers are the rear end. There is also a box-section swingarm. It holds the ground using tires wrapped on triple-spoke alloy wheels. Braking is the responsibility of a disc brake at the front, while the rear end seems to have a drum brake.

Remember the Kinetic Honda DX scooter? It could soon make a comeback as an EV
The upcoming electric scooter appears to be a modern interpretation of the iconic Kinetic Honda DX scooter Check Offers The 90's kids would remember the Kinetic name fondly. For many, the Kinetic Honda ZX scooter was the vehicle they grew up around, and for some, this would've been their first two-wheeler as an adult. It now seems the Kinetic Honda DX scooter could soon make a comeback as an all-electric offering. A recent design patent suggests that the Kinetic Group has registered an identical design for its upcoming electric scooter. Kinetic Honda DX: Two-Stroke scooter with a CVT automatic The Kinetic Honda DX scooter was a collaboration between India's Kinetic Engineering and Japan's Honda Motor Company, and was in producton from 1984 to 2007. Based on the Honda NH Series scooters, the Indian version used a 98 cc two-stroke, air-cooled motor the model. The new version will be an all-electric offering instead. This would be Kinetic's second attempt at reviving a legacy nameplate after the E-Luna recently. Kinetic Green, part of the Kinetic Group, has filed the design patent for the new scooter, which appears to be heavily inspired by the Kinetic Honda DX. The design seems near identical, save for the new Kinetic Green logo on the front apron and a rectangular LED headlamp cluster that gets the same design but with new LED DRLs. The side panels have been altered to resemble the original model in spirit, while the rear sports a new grab rail, instead of a spare tyre, seen on the original. The 'Kinetic' branding is visible on the small flyscreen of the design patent, instead of 'Kinetic Honda' as seen on the original. That said, expect the model to be targeted at family buyers offering a decent mix of performance and range. There's no word on the launch details yet but we expect Kinetic to share more details in the coming months. Notably, the brand continues to share stories around the legacy of the Kinetic Honda scooter on its social media channels. The family electric scooter segment has quite a few offerings and the upcoming Kinetic electric scooter will take on the Bajaj Chetak, Ather Rizta, TVS iQube, Ola S1 X, and the like. Kinetic, a name synonymous with iconic two-wheelers in India, is gearing up for a comeback with an electric avatar of its beloved Kinetic Honda ZX. The company has recently filed a design patent in India, hinting at a modern, family-oriented electric scooter that draws inspiration from the classic ZX, a model that captured hearts in the 1980s with its reliable 98cc two-stroke and featuresThe patented design showcases a sleek, minimalistic aesthetic that pays homage to the Kinetic Honda ZX.
