Did Klarisse de Guzman plan to come out in PBB?

Klarisse de Guzman came out as bisexual early on in her stay inside the Pinoy Big Brother House and on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" Thursday, Klang as she has become known, admitted she knew she was going to come out inside Kuya's house. "Planado in a way," she answered Tito Boy. "Bago ako pumasok ng bahay, alam ko pong gagawin ko siya. I was really sure, ready po ako. Hinihintay ko na lang yung tamang timing para sabihin sa kanilang lahat," she added, saying she really wanted to be comfortable with the rest of the housemates before coming out. It was seeing Michelle Dee inside the house that Klang felt the timing was right. The Miss Universe Philippines 2023, who became a house guest of the PBB Celebrity Collab Edition in April, came out as bisexual during Pride Month 2023. "And nung nakita ko po si Michelle, na-feel ko po na this is it," Klang said on Fast Talk. When asked why, the singer said she didn't want to harbor any secrets when she leaves the house. "Gusto ko na paglabas ko ng bahay, wala na kong tinatago. Ang hirap po kasi na for the longest time, meron kang something na tinatago sa dibdib mo," Klang said. "And now masasabi kong I'm really happy and so proud na nagawa ko po yon. And now wala na kong tinatago." In the confession room last April, the singer said she identified as bisexual and in fact has a partner of four years. Klang, along with Shuvee Etrata, are the latest evictees of PBB. Klang fatal shooting: ‘I thought it was a crow-shooting operation,' says witness after man found dead in pickup

KLANG, June 21 — The daily routine of the community in Taman Meru Utama came to a standstill when the peace was shattered by the sound of gunfire in front of a motorcycle shop that claimed the life of a local man yesterday (June 20). At the time of the incident, a retail shop owner, a woman who wished to remain anonymous, revealed that the shooting happened so quickly that it was difficult for the public to ascertain where several gunshots heard at about 3.20 pm, were coming from. 'I was tying flowers to make a garland when I heard an explosion like firecrackers, then I looked towards a motorcycle shop which was just 20 metres away and saw several individuals, including the motorcycle shop workers, running towards my store. 'I thought it was a crow-shooting operation but that hasn't been staged here for a long time since many trees have been cut down (where crows perch), ... then I realised someone has been shot and killed in a vehicle right in front of the motorcycle shop,' she told Bernama here today. The woman in her 50s also said that this was the first incident of its kind to occur near Taman Meru Utama in the five years she and her family have been running a grocery and food business. Yesterday, North Klang police chief ACP S Vijaya Rao confirmed that a 46-year-old local man had died from gunshot wounds in a four-wheel drive Ford Ranger pickup truck, with a post-mortem scheduled for 9 am today. When contacted today, Vijaya Rao said police were investigating possible secret society elements in the case. He said several individuals had so far been called in to have their statements recorded. 'Preliminary investigations found that the victim, who was self-employed, was accompanying his friend who wanted to buy a second-hand motorcycle at the shop. 'He was believed to have been shot at close range, and a post-mortem is still ongoing,' he said, adding that the police were also reviewing closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage from the surrounding area. The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder. — Bernama

Klarisse De Guzman returns to 'It's Showtime' stage

'Madlang People, OA!' This was how Klarisse De Guzman greeted the 'It's Showtime' audience on Saturday. The singer performed a full-blown production number to Christina Aguilera's 'Beautiful' and 'Fighter.' After her performance, host Vhong Navarro said Klarisse was 'napaka OA sa galing.' Jhong Hilario added, 'Grabe 'yung galing, ang OA.' Klarisse also reenacted her iconic, 'OA! Sorry ah,' from her confrontation with Dustin Yu on 'Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition.' The singer said she is happy to be back on 'It's Showtime.' 'Sobrang saya, na-miss ko po 'tong Showtime,' she said. 'Sobrang na-miss kong kumanta after three months and one week, nakakanta na ulit ako.' She added, 'Nang ibang bansa po muna 'ko as kusinera. Klang also teased the ABS-CBN bosses to give her a cooking show. She thanked everybody who supported her, 'PBB,' and her duo partner Shuvee Etrata. 'Grabe, actually hindi po talaga namin in-expect na ganto. Nagulat po 'ko sa paglabas ko na ganto pala karami ang nanood ng 'PBB Collab,' she said. 'Maraming salamat po sa pagmamahal, hindi po ako makapaniwala. Feeling Gen Z na ulit ako kung kailan tumanda,' she added. 'Thank you sa lahat ng nagmahal kay Mowm.' Klarisse also shared that she wanted to join the reality show to present a new side of her. 'Hindi lang singer, minsan baliw din, kalog.' Vice Ganda and Kim Chiu commended Klang for being true to herself and coming out of the closet. Vice Ganda asked Klang, 'Happyng happy ka?' 'Yes kasi finally, hindi na takot. Wala na 'kong tinatago. Isa na 'kong bahaghari. I'm proud of that,' Klang replied. "Sobrang saya na di ko in-expect na matatanggap din 'yun ng tao. Actually, 'yun po 'yung worry ko sa labas.' Klarisse also has a message for her partner, who she said is her support system. 'Hi Trina, thank you dahil hindi mo 'ko iniwan kahit sa mga pagkakataong hindi kita mapagsigawan. And ito finally, masasabi ko na, I love you, Trina.' 'Love wins! Happy Pride, everyone,' she added. In 2021, Klang was a judge on the 'It's Showtime' segment, Tawag ng Tanghalan. Klarisse and Shuvee exited the "PBB" house last week after their duo received the lowest vote percentage of 31.50%. Along with the other evicted housemates, they reentered Bahay ni Kuya as duo challengers. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA Integrated News
