Will Ashley, Klarisse de Guzman join 'Bar Boys: After School' cast in BTS snaps
We will be seeing more of our Nation's Mowm and Nation's Son on "Bar Boys: After School" soon! On Facebook, "Bar Boys" shared a behind-the-scenes photo from the upcoming sequel, featuring Will Ashley, Klarisse de Guzman, Sassa Gurl, Bryce Eusebio, Therese Malvar, Rocco Nacino, and Kean Cipriano at a house party, enjoying some beer and a good company. "Alagaan ang mga tita at tito na lasing. Huwag pabayaang mag-swimming," the caption read, a reference to Klarisse's iconic moment inside the "Pinoy Big Brother" house. In the sequel, Will stars as Arvin, a working student who balances his job and law school. Meanwhile, Klarisse is making her acting debut in the film, taking on the role of a hardworking breadwinner and supportive sister to a law student. "Bar Boys: After School" is the sequel of the 2017 film directed by Kip Oebanda. Who among the Pamilya De Guzman "children" is Klarisse De Guzman's favorite? On Saturday, the 'Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition' housemates came together and performed on the 'It's Showtime' stage. Klarisse and Mika Salamanca sang 'Sino Nga Ba Siya' and then joined Will Ashley, Shuvee Etrata, and Esnyr in dancing the viral 'Woah, Woah, Woah' steps. After their production number, Klarisse was asked who among them is her favorite 'child.' 'Ang paborito ko ngayon, para maiba naman, si Mika at si Shuvee ang paborito ko,' Klarisse said, clarifying that all of them are really her favorite. When asked about their reactions after finding out that Pamilya De Guzman had fans in the outside world, Will said that he was surprised. 'Nagulat po ako pagkalabas ko. Hindi ko in-expect na 'yung relationship na na-build namin do'n na talagang nakita ng mga tao na genuine talaga,' he said. Mika added, 'Nagpapasalamat po kaming lahat sa patuloy na sumusuporta sa 'min at nakikita po 'yung pagmamahal namin sa isa't-isa even sa outside world.' Prior to their 'It's Showtime' guesting, the group did a hilarious video dancing and playfighting. Pamilya De Guzman formed a familial bond inside the PBB house. They also launched an Instagram broadcast channel, which now has over 1 million subscribers. "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" ended its four-month run on July 5. Mika and Brent Manalo (BreKa) won the title of Big Winner Duo. Ralph De Leon and Will (RaWi) placed second, Charlie Fleming and Esnyr (CharEs) placed third, and AZ Martinez and River Joseph (AzVer) placed fourth. The 20 housemates will reunite on August 10 for "The Big ColLOVE" at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Singer and Pinoy Big Brother alum Klarisse de Guzman is officially joining the cast of Bar Boys: After School, the sequel to the 2017 hit film Bar Boys. As first reported by Cinema Bravo, Klarisse will take on the role of a devoted older sister who supports her sibling through law school. Her character is described as 'hilarious, optimistic, and a hopeless romantic'—a vital part of the study group's emotional core and the number one fan of law student Josh Zuniga, portrayed by Kian Cipriano. She reunites with fellow PBB Collab housemate Will Ashley, who is also part of the new cast. Returning actors Rocco Nacino, Carlo Aquino, and Enzo Pineda will reprise their original roles while new faces like Sassa Gurl, Therese Malvar, and Glaiza De Castro join the ensemble. Director Kip Oebanda teased the film's storyline in a March 2 post, revealing that the sequel centers on a law school barkada's 10-year reunion. The group reconnects after learning that a beloved professor is gravely ill and estranged from his family. As they step in to care for him, the friends are reminded of the deeper lessons life has to offer. Originally released in 2017, Bar Boys followed four friends navigating the trials of law school. Klarisse de Guzman pranks Will Ashley on 'Bar Boys: After School' set
The Nation's Mowm and the Nation's Son are back at it with their genuine bond! Klarisse de Guzman played a prank on Will Ashley on the set of "Bar Boys: After School," their first film project together. On Instagram, Klarisse shared a video of her and Will with the camera still rolling. They seemed to have just finished a scene, as Will was still visibly in character. Klarisse suddenly broke into song, "'Di ko inisip, na mawawala ka pa," a line that has been going viral because of Mika Salamanca's resurfaced childhood videos. Will laughed sheepishly and held Klarisse's hand, before the two of them burst into giggles. They punctuated the adorable moment with a hug. "Seryoso po tayo 'nak, ano po?" Klarisse wrote in the caption, tagging Will and "Bar Boys" director Kip Oebanda. "Dramang-drama na si Will e," Direk Kip quipped in the comments section. Klarisse and Will became close while they were housemates in the "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition." The two are members of the barkada called "Pamilya de Guzman," which is composed of Klarisse and her children: Will, Esnyr, Mika, and Shuvee Etrata. Will's casting in "Bar Boys: After School" was announced while he was still inside Bahay ni Kuya. Meanwhile, Klarisse was announced as part of the film on Wednesday. "Bar Boys: After School" is the sequel of the 2017 film "Bar Boys" starring Carlo Aquino, Rocco Nacino, Kean Cipriano, and Enzo Pineda.
