Megan Thee Stallion's Nails Are the Manicure Equivalent of Christian Louboutin Stilettos
Getty Images Designer-inspired nails are clearly having a moment, with both SZA and Cardi B working label logos—Gucci and Chanel, respectively—into their manicures recently. But you don't have to broadcast blatant letters across your fingertips in order to give a knowing nod to your favorite fashion house. Just look at Megan Thee Stallion's latest nail look. Megan attended the rapper's inaugural Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala in New York City on Wednesday, July 16, hand-in-hand with Dallas Mavericks player and officially hard-launched boyfriend, Klay Thompson. Thompson was pretty brave for weaving his fingers with Meg's, considering how long and sharp her stiletto manicure is. And you know what designer is closely associated with stilettos? Christian Louboutin, of course. But that's not even the main reason we're calling this mani so Louboutin-coded. While the top of Megan's nails were painted with a gunmetal-gray chrome polish, it's what's going on underneath that makes the manicure such a tribute to the shoe legend: a couple coats of bright red, just like the famous crimson soles of a Christian Louboutin pump. Just as sleek as her manicure was Megan's hair, tightly pulled back with the exception of a tendril, and her makeup, which was topped off with dramatically winged liner. She wore a gorgeous, black, criss-cross halter-neck gown by Off-White with a stunning, super-thick beaded belt that echoed the gray and red in her manicure. Thanks to the length of her dress, it's unclear whether or not Meg's open-toed heels were Louboutins, but her manicure is definitely serving plenty of high-fashion footwear vibes regardless. Klay Thompson Looks Uncomfortable As A Fan Follows Him In New York City Without Security
Klay Thompson Looks Uncomfortable As A Fan Follows Him In New York City Without Security originally appeared on Fadeaway World. Klay Thompson has had a prominent presence on social media this offseason. From his cameos in Megan Thee Stallion's videos to his training and workout clips, Thompson has garnered considerable attention. Unfortunately, not all of this attention is welcome, especially in the life of a celebrity. This became evident when a fan spotted the Dallas Mavericks guard in New York City without a security detail. While a short interaction with fans on the street is inevitable, Thompson looked visibly uncomfortable as the fan continued to talk to him, even going as far as to follow him to his hotel. The fan repeatedly spoke about how he has faith in Thompson's ability to perform with the Mavericks in the upcoming season. The guard nodded as a gesture of acknowledgement, but the individual continued to record the video, despite saying, "I respect people's privacy out here." After the initial interaction, the ideal approach would have been to go about one's day. Instead, the fan trailed Thompson from a distance while shooting videos so that the guard wouldn't notice him. In doing so, the individual acquired footage of Thompson walking through the park and through the streets of the city as well. By the end of the video, the fan noted how effectively Thompson's glasses concealed his identity, which garnered very little public attention. As Thompson entered the hotel lobby, the fan almost followed him in as well, but he stopped at the entrance. The four-time NBA champion had every reason to feel uncomfortable with this event. Although there was no direct threat to his safety, the constant invasion of privacy certainly set off some alarms. Regardless of this event, the Mavericks guard will remain laser-focused on improving for the upcoming season. Coming off an untimely end to their postseason campaign, Dallas will look to bounce back stronger. The guard had an inconsistent season last year. As Thompson's defensive prowess has started to wane, his offensive output has also taken a bit of a hit. He recorded an average of 14.0 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game on shooting splits of 41.2% from the field and 39.1% from three-point range. While solid for a role player, these numbers fall short of expectations for someone of Thompson's caliber. Heading into next season, the Mavs have put together one of the most balanced rosters in the NBA. With key players like Kyrie Irving being sidelined with injury, Thompson's experience and leadership will be vital to anchoring the Mavericks' backcourt, especially in high-pressure story was originally reported by Fadeaway World on Jul 24, 2025, where it first appeared.

Klay Thompson has become better in more ways than one since making things official with Megan Thee Stallion. The Dallas Mavericks shooting guard, 35, recently planned a date at a nine-hole golf course with Megan, 30, that was chronicled on her Instagram and TikTok pages on Wednesday, July 23. The video begins with the rapper explaining that he let her choose her outfit. The basketball player went to Academy Sports + Outdoors to purchase a couple of options, which included a pink athletic skirt and a lavender collared t-shirt, as well as a black athletic skirt with a white t-shirt. The PEOPLE Puzzler crossword is here! How quickly can you solve it? Play now! Megan ultimately chose the white shirt, paired with the pink skirt, while Thompson opted for black shorts, a baby blue collared t-shirt and a black hat that read "Protect your energy." After explaining that she had a meeting to attend before her date with Thompson, the video cut to a clip of the two riding in a golf cart driven by the NBA star. Thompson was then seen sitting on a bench while Megan pointed out fish in a lake. She then cuts to a closer look at her outfit as she tells Thompson, "You picked it? You think it's cute?" "Uh-huh. You even got the cute shoes on [and] the shirt. I did well," he says. "I'm really proud of myself." The two ultimately then start golfing, as Thompson jokes that he is Tiger Woods. After he hits a ball, the two go look for it to continue playing, and Thompson calls Megan his "good luck charm." Megan eventually attempts to hit a gold ball herself with Thompson guiding her every step of the way. The video ends with the two sharing a kiss, and Thompson declares that "ever since I've been in love, my golf game's reaped all the benefits." The couple first sparked romance rumors when Megan posted an Instagram photo with Thompson in the background in early July. Knicks blockbuster trade idea swaps 7-foot center for ex-Warriors four-time NBA champion
The New York Knicks' current roster is among the most talented in the NBA. Although the Knicks' championship hopes were dashed in the Eastern Conference Finals last season, they possess a solid foundation that should keep them in title contention for the foreseeable future. That said, Sports Illustrated's Jackson Caudell recently proposed a blockbuster trade that would give the organization a new-look squad as the 2025-26 season approaches. In the trade, the Knicks would swap a 7-foot center for a former Golden State Warriors guard who won four rings alongside Stephen Curry. 'The Knicks hired Mike Brown to be their new head coach and made some good bench moves to give them depth, signing Jordan Clarkson and Guerschon Yabusele,' Caudell wrote last Friday. 'They have one of the best starting lineups in the NBA, but they had their flaws last season, especially with the defensive duo of Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns.' Follow The Sporting News on WhatsApp 'While they paid a big price to get Towns last offseason, could they perhaps upgrade at the position and get more depth to round out the team? (Daniel) Gafford would be a great fit in this role and improve their protection around the rim.' '(P.J.) Washington and (Klay) Thompson would make the Knicks arguably the deepest team in the Eastern Conference and perhaps the NBA. They fix their two main issues from last season with a big swing.' The Knicks would receive Thompson, Gafford, and Washington, the Dallas Mavericks would receive Towns and Vit Krejci, and the Atlanta Hawks would receive Caleb Martin and two future second-round picks in Caudell's three-team trade proposal. Although Thompson isn't improving with age, his reliable three-point jumper remains a noticeable strength for the 35-year-old. Thompson, who set the NBA record for made three-pointers in a game with the Warriors in 2018 (14), has yet to shoot below 38% from deep in a season. The Washington product averaged 14.0 points per game with the Mavericks last season, shooting 41.2% from the field and 39.1% three-point shooting. If the Knicks conclude that Towns isn't an asset they must retain to secure their first championship since 1973, the franchise could soon execute Caudell's thought-provoking trade idea. More NBA:
