Racist kicked out of Knott's Berry Farm for hurling slur at fellow theme park guest

The man was caught on camera making vile racist comments referring to Mexican immigrants during a heated argument in the queue for a ride at Knott's Berry Farm in California A theme park patron who shouted a vile racist slur at a fellow guest has been fired from his job and kicked out of Knott's Berry Farm - with another woman banned for life after launching a separate racist tirade on the same day. ‌ The man was caught on camera yelling 'f*****g wetback' during a heated argument in the queue for a ride at the Buena Park theme park in California on 12 July. The offensive remark - referring to Mexican immigrants who cross the Rio Grande - quickly went viral on social media. While the man's name has not yet been independently verified, footage also captured him involved in a separate physical altercation later in the day. According to the Orange County Register, he was ejected from the park by security after putting his hands on someone. ‌ ‌ The man's employer, the EMWD in Perris, sacked him after learning of the video and said his behaviour was unacceptable. 'EMWD is committed to guiding principles that include respect, integrity, accountability, and maintaining a safe environment for all employees, customers, and the communities we serve,' the company told the Orange County Register. 'We remain dedicated to our mission, vision, and guiding principles to provide safe, reliable services to our customers and ensuring that every individual is treated with dignity and respect.' ‌ But he wasn't the only park-goer accused of racist behaviour that day. A separate video allegedly showed a woman threatening to call ICE on a Knott's employee and making several other racially charged remarks. Security quickly intervened and she was permanently banned from the park. 'Providing a safe, respectful, and family-friendly atmosphere is the type of experience our guests expect and deserve and is a responsibility that the park takes very seriously,' Knott's said in a statement. 'We have zero tolerance for any type of inappropriate behaviour.' Buena Park Police told the Mirror: 'Our officers working the park that day were not requested, never made contact with the parties involved and they never received a call for service regarding this incident. Our department was not aware of this incident until media ran with the story.' Knott's Berry Farm, run by Six Flags, is one of California's best-known theme parks. It spans 160 acres and features rollercoasters, live shows, and attractions inspired by the state's history.
