Komaki launches new Ranger PRO and PRO+ electric bikes
Komaki Electric, an electric two-wheeler maker, has launched two new high-performance models — the Ranger PRO and PRO+ — aimed at long-distance commuters and highway riders looking for power, comfort, and range in the EV segment. Priced at ₹1,29,999 for the Ranger PRO and ₹1,39,999 for the PRO+, both models come bundled with accessories worth ₹12,500. The new Ranger series offers a range of 160–220 km for the PRO and 180–240 km for the PRO+ on a single charge. Both bikes feature a 5 kW (6.7 hp) high-torque motor, enabling a quick 5-second throttle response and strong cruising capabilities suited for both city and highway use. Features These models are powered by a 4.2 kW advanced LFP (Lipo4) battery, which Komaki claims sets a benchmark for mileage and energy efficiency in the segment. Designed with safety and comfort in mind, both variants come equipped with dual disc brakes, telescopic suspension, a rear backrest, and a full-color digital dashboard. Riders also benefit from modern conveniences like cruise control, reverse assist, a Bluetooth sound system, and a mobile charging unit. A standout feature is the inclusive 50-litre rear storage compartment, which, along with a rear protection guard and tail lamp shield, makes the Ranger series an appealing choice for long-distance EV commuters. Komaki Electric launches XR1 series at ₹29,999 with regenerative kinetic energy feature
Komaki Electric has introduced the XR1 series, an electric moped designed to support short-distance commuting and errands. Priced at an ex-showroom rate of ₹29,999, the XR1 is equipped with a regenerative kinetic energy system that allows continued riding even after the main battery has been depleted. The vehicle is aimed at addressing a common concern among electric two-wheeler users—battery range anxiety. The regenerative feature provides riders the ability to complete their journeys despite battery exhaustion. Specifications and key features The XR1 offers a range of 70–80 km on a full charge and includes basic functional elements such as shock-absorbing suspension and high-grip tyres to support road stability. The model also features dual ergonomic seating for both rider and pillion and a front basket for carrying daily essentials, the company said in a media release.
