Coimbtore district monitoring officer inspects ongoing projects in city
Coimbatore: Coimbatore district monitoring officer Kranthi Kumar Pati on Friday inspected several ongoing developmental projects in the city, including the western ring road and 24*7 water supply projects.
Later, he held a review meeting officials from various departments, city corporation, and municipalities.
During the meeting, Kranthi Kumar directed the officials to meet the deadlines of the ongoing projects and expedite works without compromising on quality.
It was informed in the meeting that 137 Makkalai Thedi Mudhalvar camps were held across the corporation, municipalities, and town panchayats in the district.
Of the 70,785 applications received, 58,203 were resolved.
Similarly, on behalf of the social welfare and women empowerment department, as many as 17,678 female students and 20,889 male students are receiving ₹1,000 under the Pudhumai Penn and Tamil Pudhalvan scheme, respectively.
Further, nearly 11.12 lakh beneficiaries are undertaking various medical assistance under the Chief Minister's Comprehensive Health Card.
