The birthday promotion is available at participating shops while supplies last. In-shop and drive-through customers can double up and take advantage of the offer twice—buying two dozen at full price and receiving two dozen Original Glazed for just 88 cents each. For those preferring to order online for pickup or delivery, the deal is limited to one additional dozen and requires the promotional code "BDAY" at checkout. 'Eighty-eight has never felt and tasted so great,' said Alison Holder, Krispy Kreme's Chief Brand and Product Officer, in a news release. 'It's a real joy every year celebrating Krispy Kreme's birthday with our fans and treating them to a special deal. We're so grateful for their love and loyalty.' Alongside the birthday celebration, Krispy Kreme has introduced a new limited-edition range of doughnuts inspired by DC Comics superheroes. The "Hungry for Heroes" collection, launched on July 8, features three themed doughnuts to coincide with the release of the new Superman film. Each treat honours a different iconic hero: Superman Doughnut: An unglazed shell doughnut filled with white Kreme, dipped in light blue icing, topped with Superman buttercreme - flavoured clouds, and decorated with a Superman image and sprinkle blend. Batman Doughnut: An unglazed shell doughnut filled with cookies and Kreme, dipped in black chocolate icing, and topped with a signature bat emblem. These superhero-themed doughnuts are available individually or in a specially designed dozen box at participating US locations. Customers can also order them for pickup or delivery via the Krispy Kreme app or website. In a final heroic twist, Krispy Kreme fans can score a free Hungry for Heroes doughnut from July 24–27, coinciding with San Diego Comic-Con. The donut chain's Hungry for Heroes Collection is celebrating fan-favorite DC superheroes. 'We can't promise you'll reach Superman, Batman or Wonder Woman level by bringing a dozen doughnuts to the office or your next get-together, but you will be a hero,' said Dave Skena, chief growth officer at Krispy Kreme. The collection comes prior to the premiere of the 2025 film Superman, the first movie in DCU's Chapter One: Gods and Monsters. Named after the first DC superhero, the Superman donut is an unglazed treat with white Kreme dipped in light blue icing. It's also topped with buttercream flavored clouds and finished off with sprinkles and an image of the iconic hero himself. The Wonder Woman donut, unlike the goodies named after male superheroes, is an original glazed. It's dipped in red raspberry icing and topped with white stars, blue sprinkles, and a design that matches Wonder Woman's logo and belt. Besides its newest donuts, Krispy Kreme will be celebrating the DC legends in California by offering customers a free Hungry for Heroes donut with any purchase if they wear something to show off their love for superheroes. The deal, which as of now will only be in San Diego, is set to begin on July 24 and last until July 27. Krispy Kreme is famous for its creative collections, one being a limited-time line in collaboration with Hulu . The company has also worked with Warner Bros. on other donuts inspired by beloved characters Buddy the Elf and Scooby-Doo. It comes after the chain cut ties with fast food giant McDonald's, a partnership it announced in 2022.

Krispy Kreme is tapping into sweet nostalgia to celebrate PAC-MAN 's 45th anniversary. In collaboration with Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc., the beloved doughnut brand is launching a limited-edition PAC-MAN collection, along with a giveaway of free doughnuts, the company announced in a press release Monday. Beginning May 12, participating Krispy Kreme locations across the U.S. will offer three new PAC-MAN-themed doughnuts, all packaged in a custom, game-inspired dozen box. The collection includes the PAC-MAN Party Doughnut, filled with yellow buttercream-flavored icing, topped with celebration sprinkles and a PAC-MAN piece. Meanwhile, TEAM GHOST Doughnut is filled with chocolate Kreme, dipped in black icing, decorated like a maze, and finished with a Team Ghosts topper. The third item in the lineup is the Strawberry Power Berry Doughnut, which features strawberry-flavored Kreme, red icing, white sprinkles and a green icing leaf. "These all-new PAC-MAN doughnuts are sweetest in multi-player mode. So, press start on a dozen and chomp on a maze of flavors with family, friends and coworkers," Krispy Kreme Chief Growth Officer Dave Skena said in a statement. "Partnering with Bandai Namco and PAC-MAN is a new high score of sweetness." To mark the milestone, Krispy Kreme is also offering several celebratory deals. From May 12-18, guests can receive one free Original Glazed doughnut during Hot Light hours -- 7 to 9 a.m. and 5 to 7 p.m., or whenever the Hot Light is on -- with a limit of one per guest per day, in-shop or via drive-thru. If fans help Krispy Kreme reach its goal of 45,000 doughnuts given away, the doughnut and coffeehouse chain said it will bring back its popular Strawberry Glazed Doughnut, last offered in August 2023. From May 12-14, Krispy Kreme will also turn its Doughnut Dots into "Pac-Dots" and give away a free 10-count of Dots with the purchase of any dozen at regular price. On May 22, PAC-MAN's official birthday, customers can get a dozen Original Glazed doughnuts for just 25 cents with the purchase of any dozen at regular price.
