2026 4-star offensive tackle is '100% committed to Texas A&M'

On Wednesday, Texas A&M's 2026 recruiting class landed its 20th and 21st commitments, as four-star tackles Avery Morcho and Zaden Krempin are locked in with the Aggies after developing a strong relationship with O-line coach Adam Cushing, who is now regarded as one of the best assistants in the country and an elite recruiter going back to his time with Northwestern and Duke. Morcho's focus on developing his raw skill set, paired with his elite traits, made Texas A&M the best choice for his NFL future. On the flip side, Zaden Krempin, who has been on the Aggies' radar for quite some time, was not the favorite to land in College Station over Michigan. Texas has led the way, but after his time at Texas A&M and his lasting bond with Cushing, the standout pass protector is a future star in the making, as coach Mike Elko has continued to successfully recruit the DFW area (Dallas, Fort Worth) compared to former head coach Jimbo Fisher's lack of focus in the area. Right after committing, Krempin took to social media to announce that he is "100% committed to Texas A&M" and effectively shut down his recruitment. "I am 100% committed to Texas A&M. Thank you God for guiding me through this entire process. To my family, coaches, teammates, and friends I love you all. The hard work has just begun." This is significant news, knowing that Krempin is already on his way to becoming the program's next starting left tackle, and will enter the O-line depth chart with plenty of room to develop once Cushing chooses his future position. According to Rivals, Krempin is currently positioned as the 181st-ranked prospect in the 2026 cycle, the 20th-ranked offensive tackle, and the 26th-ranked prospect in Texas. Texas A&M football lands massive commitment from four-star offensive tackle

Let's have a day up front 🙌Welcome to Aggieland, @zadenkrempin 👍 The massive day continues for the big guys up front, as Texas A&M offensive line coach Adam Cushing landed a commitment from the program's second four-star linemen of the 2026 recruiting cycle. Head coach Mike Elko hit the gold mine in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, as 6-foot-5 and 280-pound offensive tackle Zaden Krempin pinned College Station as his next stomping ground on Wednesday afternoon. The standout lineman from Prosper High School has formulated a reputation for being one of the most dominant players in the country, and he will now look to further establish himself with the Aggies. On tape, it does not take long to find Krempin among the carnage on the offensive line. Chances are that you will likely witness him driving opposing players into the dirt, which has become a standard for the No. 19 IOL in the country, per 247 Sports Player Rankings. His athleticism and technical ability are two of his strongest attributes that make him one of the most dangerous offensive linemen in his class. Krempin received offers from 53 schools, including the likes of storied and elite programs like Michigan, Texas, LSU and Alabama, just to name a few. Above all those, he chose Elko and the Texas A&M Aggies. Many believed he narrowed his choices down to the Wolverines, Longhorns and Tigers, but it was Cushing and company that got the nod for the second offensive linemen commitment of the day. His announcement to stay in Texas and play for the Maroon and White marks the 21st commit of the 2026 cycle for Elko. While the program currently ranks as the No. 2 recruiting class according to media outlets like On3 Sports and 247 Sports, the continuous onslaught of commitments could very well propel Texas A&M to the No. 1 spot in the rankings soon. Texas A&M assistant coaches recently visits priority 2026 4-star OL

Texas A&M assistant coaches recently visits priority 2026 4-star OL Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko and his staff have made significant headway with one of the top offensive linemen in the 2026 class, as four-star offensive tackle Zaden Krempin included the Aggies as one of the final four programs he's considering heading into the summer, ahead of his official visit to College Station on June 5. Krempin is one of the rising prospects in the cycle. Due to his strength and athleticism, he possesses elite run-blocking traits. His 6'4", 275-pound frame shows a player dripping with potential in pass protection at one of the most critical positions in the game: left tackle. Since Mike Elko took over, Texas A&M has returned to recruiting for the Dallas-Fort Worth area, which was not the case under former head coach Jimbo Fisher. Currently, Krempin is considering Michigan, LSU, Texas, and Texas A&M and will officially visit each program over the next month. However, while SMU was not listed as one of his "final" schools, he will also take an OV to the Mustangs on June 7. Still, credit to Texas A&M O-line coach Adam Cushing and running back coach Trooper Taylor for making the trip to Prosper to visit Krempin, as evidenced by a recent photo. These in-person visits go a long way, especially when the competition continues to make gains, knowing that the Texas Longhorns have been highly successful in landing elite O-linemen, matching the Aggies in that regard as of late. According to 247Sports, Zaden Krempin is currently positioned as the 17th-ranked interior offensive lineman and the 38th-ranked prospect in Texas. Michigan football targets 4-star Texas OL Zaden Krempin in 2026 recruiting push

Michigan football might only have five commitments in the 2026 class thus far, but it's working hard on the recruiting trail. The Wolverines got two commitments late last month in four-star quarterback Brady Smigiel and three-star edge rusher Tariq Boney. With the series of visitors set to arrive in Ann Arbor every weekend starting May 30, the question is: who's next? Michigan makes top group for coveted offensive lineman The Wolverines already have one offensive line commitment in 2026 in lifelong Alabama fan Bear McWhorter, the three-star interior offensive lineman, spurning the Crimson Tide for the maize and blue. But Michigan has been hot and heavy after another IOL. Advertisement 2026 Prosper (Tx.) four-star Zaden Krempin has long had the Wolverines at or near the top, and now it's official: Michigan football is in his top four, released on Friday. With Texas, Texas A&M, and LSU involved, it'll be tough sledding for the maize and blue to lure Krempin out of his footprint. SMU was thought to be a factor, but it appears as if the Mustangs are eliminated. Ratings and scouting report Krempin is a four-star across the board with Rivals being the highest on him at No. 176 overall. The On3 Industry Ranking has him listed as the No. 222 player, the 18th-best offensive lineman, and the 31st-ranked player in the state of Texas.
