Actress Megha Chakraborty recently made a notable entry into Star Plus' hit show Jhanak, taking on a special role right as the series underwent a major 20-year generational leap. Known for her impactful performances in Krishna Chali London and Imlie, Megha stepped in as Ishaani, an intriguing character who added a new layer to the drama.
Initially introduced as part of Jhanak, Ishaani's character brought in a parallel storyline that piqued viewers' curiosity. Now, the makers have decided to give Ishaani her own spotlight with a full-fledged spinoff show titled Ishani, which airs at 11 pm on the same channel.
Talking about her entry and the shift to the new show, Megha told India Forums, 'Ishaani brings a fresh, independent story to Jhanak. While I can't reveal future plans, I can say Ishaani's journey is self-contained and different from the main plot.
