What has Kristin Davis done to her face? Eagle-eyed AJLT fans spot strange detail amid wild rumors

Sex and the City icon Kristin Davis has ignited a new firestorm of fan speculation about the changing appearance of her face. In recent years, the 60-year-old TV star has been trailed by a persistent stream of sensational rumors that she has gone under the knife. Although she has never publicly indicated that she had plastic surgery, she has confessed to using fillers and then later having them dissolved. Now, this week's episode of the Sex and the City spin-off And Just Like That... has sent viewers into another tailspin of conjecture about Kristin's looks. One fan posted a screengrab of Kristin to Reddit and pointed out what seemed as though it might be a slight line or shadow behind her right ear. 'Is that a facelift scar behind Kristin Davis's ear? I could not unsee this-,' claimed the Redditor, prompting a vigorous discussion in the replies. has contacted Kristin's representatives for comment. 'Probably,' theorized one commenter. 'What I noticed in this scene was how much fresher she looks without so much filler. She looks lovely.' In reply, another wrote: 'I was like wow that's a great shot the lighting is beautiful….hmm EDIT, but I do t know anything about facelifts, if the scar is behind the ear I thought it's like vertical. Like in line with the ear? Idk….anyone?' 'Yep noticed,' another Redditor alleged. 'Couldn't stop peeking at it. Distracting lol. I do hair and see little scars on women often enough from little pull and tucks. Face lift is good without the added fillers. It looks more soft and organic. She looks beautiful. Younger than she is without trying to look 30 again.' However some fans felt differently, such as one who wrote: 'I thought it was a sliver of light- similar to the light that's on the back of her neck.' Another complained: 'I thought you were going to talk about how good she was in this scene, instead that is all you can talk about? My god, you people are insufferable.' The latest turn of the rumor mill comes two years after Kristin admitted that she has availed herself of both Botox and fillers in the past. She candidly revealed that she ultimately had her fillers dissolved after being mocked for her appearance on season one of And Just Like That.... 'I have done fillers and it's been good, and I've done fillers and it's been bad,' she noted during an interview with the Telegraph in 2023. 'Probably,' theorized one commenter: 'What I noticed in this scene was how much fresher she looks without so much filler' 'I've had to get them dissolved and I've been ridiculed relentlessly. And I have shed tears about it. It's very stressful,' added the Colorado native. She also acknowledged she had gotten her lips done and recalled: 'No one told me it didn't look good for the longest time.' Kristin revealed that her feelings about her looks have been influenced by the fact she often sees old images of herself in her 30s from the original run of Sex and the City. 'It's hard to be confronted with your younger self at all times,' she observed. 'It's a challenge to remember that you don't have to look like that. The internet wants you to - but they also don't want you to. They're very conflicted.'

And Just Like That star admits to NEVER watching an episode of Sex and the City before audition

And Just Like That star Cathy Ang never watched an episode of Sex and the City before she was cast as Kristin Davis ' onscreen daughter Lily York Goldenblatt in 2021. Outraged, the 60-year-old Emmy nominee asked the 29-year-old NYU grad on her podcast Are You a Charlotte on Tuesday if she told her or the other executive producers about that at the time. 'Am I gonna make you cry already?' Cathy asked Kristin. 'I kind of grew up in a more conservative environment where, like, my parents would not have been comfortable with me watching the show, of course. I really wish my mom had watched this show. You know, there's so many things that I feel like, actually, I think my mom is a Charlotte, you know, and there's many ways where I feel like she could have found, like, more freedom in her life.' Ang continued: 'Anyway, it doesn't matter, but I didn't get to watch the show. And then watching the show, actually, after already being cast, I was like, "Holy guacamole!" But just like so kind of taken aback by the world that I was about to enter. And that probably would have freaked me out [at a younger age].' The Chinese-Filipino-American actress-singer previously told Cosmopolitan in 2021 that she actually first watched the movies Sex and the City (2008) and Sex and the City 2 (2010), and once she got the role she 'binged the show in like a week.' 'I think if I had watched it as a teen, I wouldn't have understood as many of the problems they ran into, because I was just a little bit unaware,' Cathy admitted. 'So I appreciated that I waited because it would have felt more foreign to me before, but now I could relate to these characters.' Davis told Ang that her self-taped audition during the COVID-19 pandemic was 'super brilliant' because of her prowess on the piano, which 'impressed' showrunner Michael Patrick King. The Iowa-born, Cali-raised brunette's character Lily should technically be 21 years old considering Charlotte and Harry (Evan Handler) adopted her as a baby in 2004 following the emotional Sex and the City series finale. The art dealer and divorce attorney's biological, non-binary child Rose aka 'Rock' (played by 15-year-old Alexa Swinton) should technically be 17 years older considering she was born in 2008 during the first SATC film. There are fan theories that the hot-tempered teen is secretly the franchise's villain considering she stole Carrie Bradshaw's (Sarah Jessica Parker) cell phone before she was stood up at the altar by Mr. Big (Chris Noth), who was desperately trying to call her. And Lily's piano recital in the And Just Like That series premiere kept Carrie from Big on the night he suffered a fatal heart attack on a Peloton bike at their lavish Manhattan apartment. 'The show has opened up like so many opportunities for me,' Cathy gushed. 'It was also strange that like I would ever be recognized. I went to a Bachelorette party in Texas and I gotta say I got recognized like three times down one street and it was really exciting to be a part of something that brings so many people joy.' The Emmy-winning series borrowed heavily from its predecessor about four female friends living in a big city - NBC sitcom The Golden Girls (1985-1992) - even copying the character archetypes of a funny one, a smart one, a naïve one, and a slut.

Kristin Davis Gets Honest About Harry's ‘And Just Like That' [SPOILER]: ‘It Seems Like a Perfect Storyline for Charlotte'

SPOILER ALERT: This story contains spoilers for 'Under the Table,' Season 3, Episode 5 of 'And Just Like That,' now streaming on Max. 'And Just Like That' is a show about women in transition, and Charlotte is experiencing a particularly painful kind. More from Variety 'And Just Like That' Star Cynthia Nixon on Why Miranda's New Love Interest Is 'Wonderful in a Different Way Than Steve' Sarah Jessica Parker: Male Characters 'Can Be Murderers and People Love Them,' but a Woman 'Behaves Poorly' and She's Condemned by Viewers Sarita Choudhury on Seema's 'And Just Like That' Journey and Leaning Into Chaos In the most recent episode, Charlotte (Kristin Davis) learned that her husband Harry (Evan Handler) has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. While he's optimistic about his chances, Charlotte, unaccustomed to giving up control, is consumed by anxiety, forcing herself through the motions on a 'glamping' trip with the family of Lisa (Nicole Ari Parker) and unable to speak aloud news of Harry's ailment. It's the only thing on her mind, and the only thing she cannot bring herself to say. 'And Just Like That' is frank about grief — Carrie's mourning her late husband Big was the primary driver of Season 1 — and, while Harry is still with Charlotte and doing OK, now the show deals with the sort of grief one feels for a life without the worry over a family member's health. Davis, who has been playing Charlotte since the 1998 premiere of 'Sex and the City,' has rarely been given material so painful to play; even in the hardest of times, Charlotte is an optimist, but here, she's confronting her worst fear. The actress has been reliving the show's early going on her rewatch podcast 'Are You a Charlotte?,' giving her an odd kind of perspective on how the character of Charlotte, and her world, have evolved over 27 years. She spoke to Variety about Charlotte's current plotline and what lies ahead for her over the course of Season 3. I knew something would happen, right? We couldn't just go on, if you know what I mean. I was relieved that it wasn't something horrible. It could have been worse — at least I didn't have to cheat on him or something like that, right? That would be so out of character; it would make no sense. I knew Michael [Patrick King] wouldn't do that, but I was like, Oh, God — cancer. Which is how Charlotte feels, and, of course, how everyone would feel. But the thing that I love, that you'll see in the second half, is that it has a really great way that it goes — in terms of Charlotte having to keep the secret that Harry wants her to keep, and the toll that it takes on her. She's trying to take care of him, and then she's trying to fulfill his wishes about who she tells or doesn't tell. So she really doesn't have her friends, and she ends up not taking care of herself. This is something that a lot of people relate to — women and men — if you have a partner who gets a disease, and you forget to take care of yourself. It has a comedic element to it, which was really fun and scary to do, but it's just really true to life. It seems like a perfect storyline for Charlotte that she would, of course, forget to take care of herself, and then have her own health issue because she forgot to take care of herself. There you have Michael Patrick; he's such a great writer. Charlotte, especially, talks a lot, so for her to be quiet — it's great. I hadn't thought about that. I'm so in her — I've been playing her for so long, and sometimes I have things going on in life that she doesn't have. In some ways, it was a great opportunity for me not to have to separate out myself to be the light, light Charlotte. Because obviously life is complicated. Having to keep the secret from the girls in those scenes was hard for me, of course — but it was good hard. It's always hard — that's the joy in the writing, is that you've got conflicting things happening, which is a lot of how life is. It's hard to remember that sometimes. It's good to be reminded — but when you're in the moment, [the history is] there, but you're trying to make sure you're doing what you're supposed to do right now. But it informs everything. When I'm looking back at the old show for my podcast, I'm always like, Wow. All these things happen that I forgot — it's impossible to remember it all, just like how in our regular lives, it's impossible to remember everything. I just focus on what I have to focus on right then, but it does inform it. I look at the evolution of the first show, now, through different eyes, now that we're doing the second show, and we're getting the opportunity to evolve the second show in the same way we did the first. It's the same characters, but it's a different show, and getting to go through different phases of getting back together, going through what we had to go through in the first season, the changes of the second season, and now we're here — third season. We're more settled. I feel that way when I look at it — and I'm able to, because we had a little bit of a break [before] filming [Season 3], whereas the first two seasons, we were going really quickly. This time we had a little bit of a breather. We have gotten to settle and gotten to do something more cinematic this season. The locations are beautiful and kind of big — it's big New York. We were able to realize it, and I love when we do. This interview has been edited and condensed. ‘And Just Like That' Star Kristin Davis, Creator Unpack Charlotte's Shocking Health Twist

Note: This story contains spoilers from 'And Just Like That' Season 3, Episode 5. 'And Just Like That' threw a wrench on Charlotte's picture perfect family life in Season 3, with a heart-wrenching health twist she'll have to keep secret — for now. In Episode 5, titled 'Under the Table,' Charlotte (Kristin Davis) learned that her husband Harry (Evan Handler) was diagnosed with prostate cancer. He quickly reassures her that he has a good prognosis, as the doctors caught it early and his form of the disease has a 98% survival rate. But that does little to soothe her fears, especially after he makes her promise not to tell anyone, including her friends and their kids. 'People get all kinds of unexpected health news. This is true to life,' Davis told TheWrap of the twist. 'She holds Harry in such a sacred place, and this family that she's created, it would be very scary for her to feel like she might lose that.' The news hit the Goldenblatt household as they prepared for a joint glamping trip with Lisa Todd Wexley (Nicole Ari Parker) and her family. With the diagnosis secret on her mind, Charlotte found herself lashing out at her kids when they shared their hesitation to go on the trip. In fact, even Harry ended up not being enthusiastic about the trip after being attacked by mosquitoes, leading Charlotte to take a walk on her own. Lisa, who was also having a disagreement with her husband over the new editor of her docuseries, ended up commiserating with her friend. Though Charlotte did not share the reason for being more distant than usual, Lisa still gave her support. 'Charlotte has been the grounded support for everyone for the last two years, so we knew from the writing point of view it was time for her to need support,' showrunner Michael Patrick King added. King said that the initial shock of the Harry news stunted Charlotte, and sets off a very 'Sex and the City' version of the health scare storyline as the marriage is tested when their intimate connection is challenged. Davis also teased that as a known and loving caretaker, having the love of her life dealing with cancer will push her like never before. But King assured the story won't get too tragic, adding, 'Do you think I'm going to kill Harry?' 'And Just Like That' releases new episodes Thursdays on Max. And Just Like That's new teaser sparks conspiracy theory that Samantha Jones is BACK after Kim Cattrall season 2 cameo

SEX and the City fans are convinced that Samantha Jones might make her long-awaited return in an upcoming episode. After Kim Cattrall's bombshell cameo in the Season 2 finale, a teaser from HBO Max has reignited hopes that Samantha might appear in another episode — despite the feud between the lead actresses. 4 4 4 Ahead of Thursday night's episode, Max (soon to be HBO Max) posted a hint at Samantha's comeback with an out-of-context picture from the show. The picture shows someone going to text Samantha Jones. The streaming service simply captioned the post with an eyes emoji, leaving fans to their own devices in the comments. "WE WANT HER. WE NEED HER," one Instagram user wrote. Another added, "Wait is she coming back? i'd start watching the show again." "You guys keep messing up with our hearts like that…," a third wrote, referencing the Season 2 cameo. Cattrall's appearance in last season's finale shocked viewers as the actress had previously said she wasn't interested in starring on the show due to her fallout with lead actress Sarah Jessica Parker. SJP has continued to film the show with the other leads, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis, but fans of the iconic '90s series have persistently lamented the absence of the original foursome. The fans' complaints paid off when Samantha took a phone call from Carrie, SJP's character, in the episode that aired in 2023. However, Cattrall didn't have to be in the same room as the other stars to film the short scene — which was likely on purpose. And Just Like That fans are 'crying' over Samantha Jones' cameo on season finale and claim Kim Cattrall 'saved the show' The actress said on The View in 2023 that the show bosses called her and begged her to make a cameo. "It's very interesting to get a call from the head of HBO saying, 'What can we do?'" Cattrall said on the talk show. She said that she responded, "'Hmm, let me get creative.'" One of Cattrall's requirements was that Pat Field, the original costume designer for Sex and the City, work on her outfit for the cameo. Field, who declined to work on AJLT, agreed to dress Samantha again. "I just thought that if I'm going to come back, I gotta come back with that Samantha style. I gotta push it. And we did,' Cattrall said on The View. Cattrall reportedly filmed the scene without seeing or speaking to any of the show's other stars, and she didn't interact with the show's creator, Michael Patrick King, Variety reported at the time. SJP and Cattrall's feud reportedly started when Cattrall found out that the actress was making more per episode than her. The feud came to a head in 2018 when SJP expressed her sympathy after Cattrall's brother died. Cattrall slammed her on X at the time, saying, "My Mom asked me today 'When will that @sarahjessicaparker, that hypocrite, leave you alone?' "Your continuous reaching out is a painful reminder of how cruel you really were then and now. 'You are not my family. You are not my friend. 'Stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your 'nice girl' persona." She later publicly said that SJP was never her friend, only her colleague. Parker has denied any bad blood between the two. Fans have yet to see if Parker and Cattrall come face to face in AJLT this season. The Season 3 finale is currently slated for August 14, 2025. 4
