Orlando Pirates target nets for Bafana Bafana

Orlando Pirates target Sinoxolo Kwayiba was on target as Bafana Bafana defeated Mozambique in an international friendly match in Polokwane on Tuesday evening. Kwayiba and Ashley Cupido scored two goals in the second half to hand Hugo Broos' men another convincing win. Bafana will now focus on the FIFA World Cup qualifiers, which resume in September. After the 2-0 win against Mozambique, Kwaniba was named Man of the Match. During his Man of the Match interview, the Bafana Bafana forward was asked about his potential move to Orlando Pirates. 'I'm happy for the performance of today, but I want to do more. Let's hope it's gonna happen,' he told SABC Sport . 'I'm hoping to play for a big team and then after going to play overseas – that's my dream and it's gonna happen. 'A team of the big-three, I won't mention any names. I won't mention anyone but I want to play for the one of three.' Kwayiba said. According to iDiski Times , the Chippa United striker scored six times last season, but it looks more likely that he will play in black and white. Orlando Pirates already have two Bafana strikers, Evidence Makgopa and Tshegofatso Mabasa. Broos' young Bafana see off Mozambique in Polokwane

Kwayiba is another Bafana player who was hard done by Urrubal's brilliance in the opening 45 minutes, where Mozambique never made a box entry. Pirates goalkeeper Sipho Chaine, who would be replaced by newcomer Renaldo Leaner in the 67th minute, was like a man on holiday throughout the first half. The first period had a few stoppages, the longest coming when Bafana right-back Nyiko Mobbie collided with Mozambique left-back Edmilson Dove, whose contract with Kaizer Chiefs ends this month. Mobbie had to soldier on until the 76th minute after suffering a head injury, before being replaced by Deano van Rooyen. After such a dominant first-half display, though without scoring, it fell to Bafana's first attempt of the second half from a set-piece for Urrubal to be beaten, courtesy of Kwayiba's header. The Chippa midfielder rose smartly to head home Nkota's corner. Cupido, who replaced Yanela Mbuthuma in the 67th, put the game to bed with a delightful finish just three minutes after entering the fray, collected and finishing a loose ball after Dove's error.
