(4) SCHIPOLE and (5) WAITING ON CHARLIE won over slightly shorter, but could have more to offer over this extended trip. (1) LIMERICK LACE and (3) LITTLEMISSSPLENDID can also improve over the longer trip, so they could make their presence felt. Race 2 (1,600m) (1) GOLDEN WARRIOR won by 6¾ lengths over this trip last time, but is held on earlier form by (2) IDEAL SUMMER, who has three lengths to find on familiar foe (3) READ ALL ABOUT IT on the form of their recent 1,400m meeting. (6) ZALATORIS has shown promise in three sprints. Race 3 (1,600m) (5) COPPOLA, (7) CLARKSON and (11) VIVA DE JANEIRO have the form and experience at this level to play leading roles, while (6) SOVEREIGNS CALL may appreciate the step-up to this trip for the first time and could also acquit himself competitively. Race 4 (1,500m) (1) BRIGHAM and (8) NKWENKWEZI have found one better in recent starts, and will likely play leading roles once more. But, both are vulnerable to less-exposed rival (7) STAY TUNED who caught the eye on debut with a fast-finishing close-up third over 1,400m. He need not improve much to open his account. (2) AFTERBURN and (3) TWO FOR THE BOYS appeal most of the remainder. Race 5 (1,500m) (9) HOPSCOTCH could be rewarded for her consistency after finishing second twice in a row recently. Older rivals (1) GOLDEN ALEXIA and (3) BELLA BOOP BOOP have the form and experience to trouble the selection, though a bigger threat will likely come from 2YO filly (7) A BIT OF CLASS, who would have benefited from the experience of her encouraging debut. Race 6 (1,000m) (3) COSMIC QUEEN won a similar contest over this distance last month, and a resultant six-point penalty may not be enough to halt her progress. She should confirm her superiority over rivals (1) NIGHT VIGIL, (9) KIA KAHA and (8) SIMPLY MAJESTIC, all of whom are weighted to pose more of a threat. (2) ARTISTE acquitted herself competitively on her Highveld debut, and should have a role to play. Race 7 (1,000m) Debut winner (11) GIMMEFORSURE is the only 2YO but seems well placed to keep her unbeaten record intact. She has the most scope for improvement, and should have the measure of hard-knocking rivals (10) GAELIC DANCER and (13) TOGETHER AGAIN. Both (1) MONTANA LIGHTS and (5) JUST JAZZED UP have room for improvement after a break. Race 8 (1,450m) (2) GUY GIBSON has battled to win but deserves to end his 565-day wait for a third triumph. He ran on well to finish ahead of (5) BOB'S YOUR UNCLE over 1,160m recently, and should confirm his superiority over that rival over this extended trip. (1) BUSSTOPINHOUNSLOW, last-start course-and-distance winner (8) FRENCH BOLT and consistent mare (9) IN THE BEGINNING all have the ability to trouble the selection. (3) BUSTER BARNES is an interesting runner on his local debut after an 11-month absence, and having relocated from Zimbabwe where he was prolific. Watch the betting market for his chances. Race 9 (1,450m) Class dropper (2) ZIP CODE acquitted himself well in a stronger race last time. He can go one better. Consistent topweight (1) RICHARD THE FIRST, last-start winners (3) KISSHOTEN and (4) TURBO POWER, and the hat-trick seeking (13) SEA SHANTY ought to remain competitive too.

Race 4 (1,400m) (1) TWO FOR THE BOYS (tongue-tie on first time), (12) WORLD ORDER and filly (13) SCARLETT HEART (first-time blinkers) have the form and experience to fight for victory but in a race that will not take much winning, well-bred newcomers (10) RADIO STAR and (11) TAKE NO PRISONERS need not be special to score at the first time of asking. Race 5 (2,400m) Tricky. Last-start winners (6) ROMEO'S MAGIC and hat-trick seeking (8) MO MENT remain competitive for top honours under resultant penalties but are closely matched on recent form with class-dropper (3) TO THE RESCUE. Consistent (5) DOUGLAS DRAGON would not be winning out of turn either, while (1) STAR COIN and (4) EIGER SANCTION could have more to offer going this extended trip for the first time. Race 6 (1,600m) (3) PUMPKIN PIE and (8) CRESCENDO confirmed the promise of their debuts by winning over shorter distances last time and this extended trip should unlock further improvement from both 3yo geldings. Fellow last-start maiden scorers (11) WAR REPORTER and (13) APACHE CHIEF also have the means to acquit themselves competitively on their handicap debuts. (14) GUERILLA WARFARE and (9) ALADDIN'S LAMP appeal most of the remainder. Race 7 (1,600m) (1) BACCHUS and (2) DON'T CRY FOR ME were outclassed in back-to-back outings at Grade 1 level but will find life easier in this. Unexposed (11) COUNT HUHTIKUU fits a similar profile. Progressive (5) ARTIST'S MODEL, distance-suited (6) MASTERSHIP and (10) CLAW are proven in this grade and should make their presence felt in the outcome. Race 8 (1,160m) Consistent (4) FASTNET FILLY is very speedy and will be the one they all have to catch. (5) JUST THE TWO OF US bounced back with a good win last time and deserves respect in this line-up. (6) KOMATI RIVER and (7) SALENIO PENINSULA are both better than what they showed in their latest outings, so should be on the premises too. Race 9 (1,160m) A very competitive-looking handicap. (3) FULLY COMMITTED won nicely on debut but did not repeat the same performance at her next outing. She might enjoy reverting to the minimum trip and must be considered. (9) FLIGHT OF A CONDOR was a good winner last time and it would not be a surprise were she to follow up. (1) HONG KONG has not always shown her best side but she is capable of contesting the finish when she does. (4) ROAMING SPIRIT and (6) GREAT NOTION have been racing well and are both capable of getting involved with the finish.
