Talor Gooch wins LIV Golf Andalucia, collects his 13th overall LIV trophy

Jon Rahm's Legion XIII won a LIV team title for the third time this season and they did so in his home country of Spain at at LIV Golf Andalucia. It was Talor Gooch winning the individual crown for the fourth time ‒ and second at Valderrama ‒ in his LIV career, shooting a 1-under 70 and finished at 8 under. 'The fans, they're great even if you're not a Spaniard,' said Gooch. 'Obviously I know that they want one of their own to win, but I never felt like the spoiler. They've embraced me so much. Having won here two years ago, I think I've garnered a few more fans.' Gooch now has 13 LIV trophies. Along with the four individual titles, he's been on the winning team seven times (with three different teams) to go along with the 2022 Team Championship title and the 2023 LIV Individual Championship. He was previously tied with Bryson DeChambeau at 12 combined wins. 'That's a pretty cool stat,' Gooch said. 'I didn't know I had the most trophies on LIV. I'll be sure to let everyone know in JCB [at LIV Golf UK] that that's the case.' Gooch won after shaking off two bogeys on his first six holes but hung on as Rahm almost tracked him down. Starting six shots back, Rahm needed to birdie his last hole but could only get up-and-down to save par. 'Can't believe back-to-back years we got a win with a Spanish member on the team, so at least keep it in the family,' Rahm said. 'That's something I'm happy about. What a great Sunday we had.'
