The actor who featured alongside tennis player Radhika Yadav on a music video has claimed that the 25-year-old told him that her "father liked the song". Inam-ul-Haq, the actor who worked with Radhika on the project, also said her mother accompanied her on set on the day of the shoot. Inam-ul-Haq (R), the actor who starred alongside Radhika Yadav in a music video, spoke about working with her.(Facebook/ANI) Radhika Yadav was killed, allegedly after being shot four times by her father Deepak Yadav at their residence in Gurugram. Following her death, a music video starring her alongside Inam-ul-Haq was widely circulated, with some reports suggesting that Radhika's father had objections to it. However, there was no official confirmation on the music video fuelling tensions between Radhika and her father Deepak. Amid speculation, the actor, who starred opposite Radhika Yadav, has now suggested that the tennis player was doing the project with permission from her father. "She (Radhika) came to the shooting (of the music video) with her mother. On the set, she also mentioned that her father liked the song, which means she took permission from her father," Inam-ul-Haq was quoted as saying by news agency ANI. The actor also said Radhika's entire family knew about the music video. When asked if the tennis player ever spoke to him about joining the music or film industry, the actor said, "When we met her for the first time, she told us that she wants to work in this line (film line)...She desired to work in this that, we never met." Talking about the project he did with Radhika Yadav, Inam-ul-Haq said the shoot was wrapped up in one day, and lasted about five hours in Noida. The actor also said he was professionally connected to Radhika Yadav, and the two did not talk about her family a lot. He also said that she did not promote the music video a lot, and deactivated and reactivated her Instagram account around two to three times after it was released. The music video starring Radhika Yadav and Inam-ul-Haq was produced by Zeeshan Ahmad and released under the LLF Records label in 2024. Amid speculation over the reasons behind Radhika's father murdering her, police officials told Hindustan Times that there is 'nothing concrete' which suggests that Deepak was upset over the music video and social media activity.

"She Said Her Father Liked The Video": Singer In Radhika Yadav's Music Video
Independent artist Inaam, the co-actor and singer in the video featuring Radhika Yadav, told NDTV that the 25-year-old tennis player told him that her father liked the Karwaan video she appeared in, disputing the theory and the insinuation that she was killed over the music video. "She came to the set with her mother. The song was liked by her father, Radhika said to me," Inaam told NDTV in a telephonic interview. The video in question is a song titled Karwaan by artist INAAM, produced by Zeeshan Ahmad and released under the LLF Records label a year ago. "It's clear that she had her father's permission and her mother also came on the set with her," the artist underlined, who met Radhika three years ago at a Tennis Premier League match, adding that he was not friends with her and knows nobody from her family. The video features Radhika alongside INAAM in several scenes. Sources close to the investigation told NDTV that the 25-year-old's father had objected to the video and had asked her to delete it from her social media accounts. "She was talented and did great for a first-timer. Radhika did not promote the video. I happened to see a story where she said her grandfather had died. I thought that was the reason and she did not promote it," Inaam said, adding that he did not specifically ask her about the video. Radhika Yadav was shot dead at the family's double-storey home in the upscale Sushant Lok area of Gurugram on Thursday. Father Deepak Yadav, 49, later confessed to killing his daughter and was arrested. According to police, the father fired at least five gunshots, three of which hit Radhika in the back, and killed her on the spot. According to officials, the father confessed that he shot at Radhika because he was often taunted for living off her income. Police, in a statement, claimed that the tennis academy Radhika ran was the bone of contention between the father and the daughter. "Her father was not happy with it," Gurugram police spokesperson Sandeep Singh said, adding that Deepak has disclosed that his objection was to her daughter running the tennis academy, over which there had been altercations between the two. "On many occasions, he had told her to shut it, but she did not agree. Angered, he shot her thrice," the spokesperson added. The accused felt that he was financially well off and also earned from rental income, so there was no need for his daughter to run an academy, the police claimed.

Radhika Yadav killing: Autopsy report reveals four bullets hit tennis player, says doctor
Radhika Yadav killing: Autopsy report of Radhika Yadav has revealed that four bullets hit the tennis player, who was shot dead by her father Deepak Yadav in their Gurugram home. "The postmortem of the deceased tennis player is completed. Four bullets were taken out from Radhika Yadav's body," Dr. Deepak Mathur, from the team of doctors who performed the postmortem, said, reported PTI. Radhika Yadav's father later confessed to the crime, and has been arrested by the police. According to officials, Deepak Yadav confessed that he shot at Radhika because he was often taunted for living off her income. Police, in a statement, claimed that the tennis academy Radhika set up, was the bone of contention between the father and the daughter — a conflict fueled further by people's taunts. "Her father was not happy with it," PTI quoted Gurugram police spokesperson Sandeep Singh as saying. "On many occasions, he had told her to shut it, but she did not agree. Angered, he shot her thrice," the spokesperson added. According to a report by NDTV, Radhika had sustained a shoulder injury during a recent match, which led her to take a break from playing tennis. However, instead of stepping away from the sport altogether, she chose to coach young tennis players and had set up her on tennis academy in Gurugram's Sector 57. It was not just Radhika's tennis academy that was at the core of her fatal killing. The tennis player had appeared in a music video last year alongside an independent artist. This may have caused tensions within her household, with police investigating this angle behind the tennis player's murder, reported PTI. The music video in question, titled "KARWAAN", was produced by Zeeshan Ahmad and released in 2024 under the LLF Records label. It featured Radhika Yadav alongside artist INAAM in multiple scenes. While Radhika and her father were discussing the shutting down of the tennis academy, an argument broke out and Deepak shot his daughter in a fit of rage. Deepak Yadav, using his licensed revolver, fired three bullets at Radhika while she was in the kitchen — one striking her neck, and two hitting her in the back, TOI had reported earlier.
