Travis Scott and Cactus Jack's 'JACKBOYS 2' Debuts at No. 1

The group's latest compilation album debuts with a total of 232,000 equivalent album units in its first week. That includes 160,000 in album sales, 72,000 in streaming equivalent album units (94.86 million on-demand streams of the songs) and the rest in track equivalent album 2marks the second-largest opening of a rap album in 2025 so far, just behindPlayboi Carti'sMUSIC. In addition to topping the Billboard 200, the record opens at No. 1 on the Top Album Sales chart at No. 4 on the Top Streaming Albums 2also sets a record for the largest sales week for a rap album since La Flame's very ownDays Before Rodeoin September 2024. The record gives Biebs his largest streaming week and opens at the No. 1 on Top Streaming Album charts. The next debut isClipse'sLet God Sort Em Outat No. TandMalice's first album in 16 years earns 118,000 equivalent album units in its first week with 59,000 in streaming equivalent album units (77.49 million on-demand streams), 58,000 in album sales and 1,000 in track equivalent album units. This gives the pair their second top 1, and is also Clipse's biggest streaming week. Other new entries on this week's chart is TWICE at No. 6 withTHIS IS FOR, which launches with 80,000 equivalent album units, andGIVĒON'sBeloved, which enters at No. 8 with 44,000 equivalent album units. Travis Scott Gets Inked With a Tiger Tattoo in Eerie ‘DUMBO' Video: Watch
Travis Scott and the Cactus Jack boys released their JACKBOYS 2 compilation on Sunday (July 13), and La Flame didn't waste any time releasing another visual from the project with the woozy 'DUMBO' arriving on Monday (July 14). Directed by Gabriel Moses, Scott raps his wispy flow from the comfort of his penthouse living room while surrounded by plenty of beautiful women. He then heads outside for a spin in his exotic Lamborghini with a cameo from Sheck Wes. 'Confetti, let it fall to your waistline/ You get wasted, just don't waste mine,' he sings over dreamy production. 'DUMBO' has been tabbed an early fan-favorite on JACKBOYS 2 and came in at No. 5 on Billboard's entire ranking of the 17-track compilation. JB2 arrived in celebration of 713 Day, an homage to Scott's hometown of Houston. The project features the entire Cactus Jack roster in addition to appearances from NBA YoungBoy, Future, Playboi Carti, GloRilla, Tyla, Vybz Kartel, 21 Savage, Kodak Black, SahBabii and Waka Flocka Flame. Bun B also plays host while guiding the project's transitions. The project was preceded by singles such as Sheck and Trav's 'ILMB' and '2000 Excursion,' which features the duo alongside Don Toliver. Travis Scott Announces 'JACKBOYS 2' Album Release Date
Summary Travis ScottandCactus Jack's highly-anticipatedJACKBOYS 2is officially dropping on July 13. La Flame took to social media to announce the news, further revealing that the compilation will have a total of 17 tracks with Bun B as the host. No additional information, including a tracklist and the featured guests, were unveiled. Pusha T Takes Aim at Travis Scott on Clipse's New ‘So Be It' Single: ‘He's a Whore'
After giving media members an early listen to Let God Sort Em Out at Roc Nation HQ in NYC, Clipse returned to heat up the summer with the album's second single on Tuesday (June 17) as the Pharrell-produced 'So Be It' arrived. Pusha T and Malice trade fiery bars over Skateboard P's chiseled production, but a ton of eyeballs went to Pusha's scathing final verse, which finds him sniping at Travis Scott. Billboard has reached out to Scott for comment. Some speculated that the verse was about his former G.O.O.D. Music running mate, Ye (formerly Kanye West), but King Push confirmed to GQ that he had smoke for La Flame. Pusha T explained that his issues with Scott were tied to the Cactus Jack rapper pulling up to Louis Vuitton HQ to play his 2023 Utopia album for Pharrell while Clipse was also working on their upcoming album. 'He's like, 'Oh, man, everybody's here,' he's smiling, laughing, jumping around, doing his f–king monkey dance. We weren't into the music, but he wanted to play it, wanted to film [us and Pharrell listening to it],' he recalled. 'And then a week later you hear 'Meltdown,' which he didn't play. He played the song, but not [Drake's verse].' Drake takes several shots at Pharrell on the track and says he's going to melt P's classic jewelry. 'Melt down the chains that I bought from your boss, give a f—k about all of that heritage s—t,' he raps. Having that verse on Utopia after playing the track for Pharrell didn't sit right with Pusha T, as he feels Scott aligns with whoever when it's convenient for him, but doesn't stand by his loyalty to anyone. 'He's done this a lot. He has no picks. He'll do this with anybody. He did it with 'Sicko Mode'… He was on the [Rolling Loud] stage like, 'Play that, play that,'' Push said in reference to 'Like That,' which sparked the Drake and Kendrick Lamar feud. 'He don't have no picks, no loyalty to nobody. He'll jump around whatever he feels is hot or cling onto whatever he feels is hot.' Pusha T continued: 'So, that's where my issue comes in — like, dawg, don't even come over here with that, because at the end of the day, I don't play how y'all play.
