The Inside Scoop On Terrasse By Albane At The 2025 Cannes Film Festival

For the first time in the history of La Terrasse by Albane, the exclusive dining experience will be open outside world on Saturday, 24 May at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival. Here's what you should know. If Cannes is the ultimate playground for cinema's glitterati, then La Terrasse by Albane is its most coveted hideaway-a sun-kissed, chic rooftop where film, fashion, and food come together in the most intoxicating way. Returning for its second edition during the 2025 Cannes Film Festival (May 14–24), this exclusive collaboration between Albane Cleret, the Riviera's queen of soirées, and Mauro Colagreco, the visionary three-Michelin-star chef behind Mirazur in Menton, France, is no doubt one of the most coveted reservations of the festival. Steps from the Palais des Festivals on the Croisette, atop the prestigious JW Marriott Cannes, this temporary address becomes a preferred meetup spot for directors, producers, and the 7th art. Colagreco's cuisine here is a celebration of gastronomy rooted in local terroir and the Mediterranean's biodiversity. Mauro Colagreco x Terrasse by Albane. Coline Ciais-Soulhat 'I'm so glad to renew our collaboration with La Terrasse by Albane, which is a magical bubble where cinema, creativity, and cuisine collide,' says Colagreco. 'There's an incredible energy during the Festival-and being able to share my vision of sustainable, local, plant-forward cuisine in this setting, with people from all over the world, is a true joy.' Coline Ciais-Soulhat Think the Mediterranean's finest: Bocconcino di Bufala Campana paired with Mitron Bakery's live bread—Colagreco's artisan, committed, and sustainable bakery—with a drizzle of olive oil from Huilerie Saint-Michel. Add to that a Ligurian catch of the day served alongside sun-kissed tomatoes, courgettes, and Taggiasche olives. Of course, there's pasta: tortellini with 36-month Parmigiano Reggiano, lemon confit, and Malongo coffee oil. (The French roaster is known for its commitment to fair trade and organic coffee.) Diners can also discover the heritage of Niçois farcis, where summer garden vegetables come together in what's best described as little stuffed vegetables. If you haven't had the pleasure to dine at Mirazur and see its gardens firsthand, this is your chance to glimpse Colagreco's magical culinary world. 'I created this menu as I tend to my gardens and as we do at Mirazur: listening to nature, following its rhythm and celebrating its gifts with complete creative freedom.' The Gamberoni Rossi carpaccio with citrus fruits from Menton. 'It's one bite that truly embodies the soul of this menu,' he says. 'It's more than a dish, it's a manifesto of flavors. The prawns come from the Ligurian Sea in Italy, a few kilometers from where we cook, and the citrus fruits are grown in the rich terroir of Menton, my hometown." Each dish is a tribute to the richness of the Mediterranean, but as Colagreco notes, this dish is a "pure, raw expression of its brilliance, elegance and strength.' For the first time ever, on May 24th, 2025, this private dining pop-up throws open its doors to the public for an exclusive lunch and dinner, offering a rare chance to indulge in a three-course tasting menu paired with exceptional wines, accompanied by the Riviera's golden glow, of course. In previous years, it's been a members only situation. Tickets start at €220 (or €350 with wine pairings), and reservations open May 13th, 2025 online at Mirazur or by phone at +33 4 92 41 86 86. For Colagreco, it's not just about food. 'It's about connection, culture, and creating memories,' he says. 'This collaboration with Albane Cleret is instinctive, full of life-just like the Riviera itself.'
