Small puppy given Narcan after being exposed to fentanyl in Washington
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A small puppy's life was saved Tuesday after being exposed to fentanyl in Washington.
A Lacey Fire crew found the puppy unresponsive inside a car 'where fentanyl was present' and used a small dose of Narcan to revive it, officials said.

'It's not every day we use Narcan on a four-legged patient—but our teams are ready for just about anything,' Lacey Fire shared on social media.
According to officials, the puppy is now 'doing well.' No further information about the dog was shared.
