Man charged after 3 vehicle collision in Lambton Shores

(Filo Photo/Ontario Provincial Police | Photo Credit: Bobb Barratt) Following a three-vehicle collision in Lambton Shores on Thursday, one man has been charged. The 20-year-old male was charged with Dangerous Operation and Dangerous Operation causing bodily harm, after a collision on Lakeshore Road involving two passenger vehicles and a commercial motor vehicle. A 46-year-old male was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

44 year-old dies after incident at Ipperwash Beach
Three drivers busted on impaired charges in Caledon. Wed., June 25, 2025. A Lambton Shores resident has died following an incident at Ipperwash Beach on Lake Huron. Around 6:20 p.m. on June 29, OPP and EMS were called to Ipperwash Road where a person was unresponsive after being brought to shore by another person. According to police, a person entered shallow water after diving from a vessel and became unresponsive. The 44 year old of Lambton Shores was taken to hospital where they were later pronounced deceased. Lambton County OPP said they would like to thank the members of the public who helped prior to the arrival of emergency responders.

London teenager dies in drowning at Ipperwash Beach
Lambton OPP officers on the shore of Ipperwash Beach in Lambton Shores, Ont. on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 (Sean Irvine/CTV London) An 18-year-old from London has died after drowning at Ipperwash Beach in the Municipality of Lambton Shores. Shortly after 4 p.m. on Monday June 30, a 12-year-old and 18-year-old were swimming in Lake Huron near East Parkway Drive when they went in distress. Members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Anishinabek Police Service, Lambton County Emergency Medical Services, and Lambton Shores Fire and Emergency Services responded. Samaritans jumped in action to begin life-saving efforts prior to the arrival of first responders. The 12-year-old from London was safely brought to shore by members of the public and transported to hospital as a precaution. A second individual was located unresponsive and transported to hospital. Despite life-saving efforts by first responders, an 18-year-old from London was pronounced deceased at hospital. The investigation is continuing.
