Stock market update: Nifty Pharma index advances 0.35% in a weak market
NEW DELHI: The Nifty Pharma index traded positive around 10:19AM(IST)on Monday in a weak market. ADVERTISEMENT Laurus Labs Ltd.(up 2.69 per cent), Mankind Pharma Ltd.(up 2.4 per cent), Natco Pharma Ltd.(up 1.42 per cent), Aurobindo Pharma Ltd.(up 1.41 per cent) and Granules India Ltd.(up 1.32 per cent) were among the top gainers. Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.89 per cent), Ipca Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.61 per cent), Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd.(down 0.45 per cent), Ajanta Pharma Ltd.(down 0.34 per cent) and Biocon Ltd.(down 0.33 per cent) were the top losers on the index. The Nifty Pharma index was up 0.35 per cent at 22303.75 at the time of writing this report. Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 28.2 points at 25121.65, while the BSE Sensex was down 135.01 points at 82365.46. Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 26 were trading in the green, while 24 were in the red. ADVERTISEMENT Shares of JP Power, Vodafone Idea, RattanIndia Power, Vishal Mega Mart and YES Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE. Shares of Soma Textiles, Sambhv Steel Tubes, Reliance Naval & Engg, Sumeet Ind and Indosolar Ltd hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while SKIL Infrastructure, Marshall Machines, Varanium Cloud, Dreamfolks Services and AGS Transact Tech hit fresh 52-week lows in trade. Stock market update: Nifty Pharma index advances 0.01%
NEW DELHI: The Nifty Pharma index closed on a positive note on Tuesday. ADVERTISEMENT Shares of Laurus Labs Ltd.(up 2.93 per cent), Gland Pharma Ltd.(up 2.43 per cent), Biocon Ltd.(up 1.92 per cent), Zydus Lifesciences Ltd.(up 1.27 per cent) and Lupin Ltd.(up 1.19 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack. On the other hand, Abbott India Ltd.(down 2.82 per cent), Ajanta Pharma Ltd.(down 2.78 per cent), J B Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd.(down 2.01 per cent), Alkem Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.83 per cent) and Mankind Pharma Ltd.(down 1.42 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day. The Nifty Pharma index closed 0.01 per cent up at 22041.25. Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 24.75 points at 25541.8, while the BSE Sensex stood up 90.83 points at 83697.29. Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 24 ended in the green, while 26 closed in the red. NEW DELHI: The Nifty Pharma index traded negative around 10:26AM(IST)on Monday in a weak market. Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd.(up 2.17 per cent), Laurus Labs Ltd.(up 1.04 per cent), Granules India Ltd.(up 0.96 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(up 0.54 per cent) and Mankind Pharma Ltd.(up 0.18 per cent) were among the top gainers. Abbott India Ltd.(down 1.68 per cent), Ajanta Pharma Ltd.(down 1.1 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.93 per cent), Natco Pharma Ltd.(down 0.89 per cent) and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(down 0.69 per cent) were the top losers on the index. The Nifty Pharma index was down 0.28 per cent at 21551.7 at the time of writing this report. Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 221.96 points at 24890.45, while the BSE Sensex was down 731.74 points at 81676.43. NEW DELHI: The Nifty Pharma index closed on a positive note on Monday. ADVERTISEMENT Shares of Laurus Labs Ltd.(up 3.95 per cent), Biocon Ltd.(up 2.46 per cent), Zydus Lifesciences Ltd.(up 1.41 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.36 per cent) and Granules India Ltd.(up 1.26 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
