Enzo Kana-Biyik to Lausanne-Sport confirmed in exciting move
Manchester United have so far only confirmed the signing of Matheus Cunha for the senior team. Just like last season, they have made youth recruitment a priority and a deal was recently closed for 16 year old centre back Harley Emsden James. Advertisement The Red Devils also finalised a move for 18 year old French striker Enzo Kana-Biyik earlier in the summer. The forward exclaimed that he was 'happy and proud' to move to a club like United but he will continue his football education elsewhere for the time being. Lausanne-Sport move It was widely reported that Ineos owned Swiss side FC Lausanne-Sport would make a loan move for the forward and this is exactly what has occurred. The club's official website confirmed the move yesterday and claimed, 'FC Lausanne-Sport is pleased to announce the arrival of Enzo Kana Biyik on loan from Manchester United until the end of the season.' Advertisement The 18 year old had a fantastic record in the Le Havre academy, scoring nine goals in 16 appearances. The youngster was also called up for the team's senior squad twice last season and he ultimately secured a blockbuster move to Old Trafford. 'A great eye for goal' Lausanne-Sport are clearly delighted with their capture as they describe the attacker as a 'pure talent.' They continued to lavish praise on him by asserting, 'Enzo is a powerful and technical striker with a great eye for goal.' It was also confirmed that he will wear the number 22 for the Swiss side this season. His new club will be in action on Thursday 24th July when they compete in the second round of Conference League qualification, where Kana-Biyik could make his first team debut. Manchester United announces striker as their third summer signing
Manchester United are adding youth to their ranks — and their third signing of the summer comes with big potential. The Red Devils have officially confirmed the arrival of 18-year-old French striker Enzo Kana-Biyik. He joins on a free transfer from Le Havre and has signed a long-term deal with the club. Advertisement Kana-Biyik won't feature in red just yet. United have sent him straight out on loan to FC Lausanne-Sport in Switzerland. It's a move designed to give the teenager time to grow and gain first-team experience away from the pressure cooker of Old Trafford. The club shared in an official statement: 'Manchester United have completed the signing of exciting young forward Enzo Kana-Biyik. Following the signing of his contract, the emerging talent has secured a loan switch to Swiss Super League side, Lausanne-Sport.' Kana-Biyik becomes the third addition of United's summer, following big-money signing Matheus Cunha and fellow youngster Diego Leon. And yes, more business is expected before the transfer window slams shut. Advertisement 📲 Follow The Sporting News on WhatsApp Who is Enzo Kana-Biyik? The new Man Utd signing Born in France and raised in the Le Havre academy, Kana-Biyik is no stranger to football DNA — his father is former Cameroon international Andre Kana-Biyik. Enzo made waves last season, scoring nine goals in 18 appearances for Le Havre's U-19 side. Though he didn't get minutes for the senior team, he was named on the bench for two matches. Swiss side Lausanne-Sport praised their new arrival as 'a powerful and technical striker with a great eye for goal.' He'll wear the number 22 shirt and is expected to play a key role this season, especially as the club gears up for UEFA Conference League qualifiers. If Kana-Biyik delivers in Switzerland, fans may soon see him knocking on the door back in Manchester. Manchester United news and related links

Enzo Kana-Biyik joins Manchester United from Le Havre
Manchester United have officially confirmed the signing of Enzo Kana-Biyik (18) from Le Havre AC and also announced that he will be sent out immediately on loan to Lausanne-Sport in Switzerland. The teenager had been on the periphery of the Le Havre first team this season under Didier Digard. He was part of the matchday squad for the 2-1 victory over Lille in Ligue 1, and he was also on the bench for the Coupe de France elimination at the hands of Stade Briochin (1-). Advertisement However, the forward who can play across the front three was unable to make his professional debut for Le Club Doyen. Instead, he had a successful spell in the U19s where he played 18 and scored nine. Kana-Biyik is a France youth international and represented the U18s this season, although his father, André Kana-Biyik, and his brother, Jean-Armel Kana-Biyik, both played for Cameroon. Man United confirm signing of France youth international forward - before announcing immediate loan to Ineos-owned club
Manchester United have confirmed the signing of teenage forward Enzo Kana-Biyik from French club Le Havre. Kana-Biyik, 18, was unveiled as a United player on Thursday morning and will go out on loan to Swiss Super League side Lausanne-Sport next season. A statement from United read: 'Manchester United have completed the signing of exciting young forward Enzo Kana-Biyik. Everyone at United would like to welcome Enzo to the club and wish him the very best of luck for his loan.' United are understood to have fought off competition from Monaco and Marseille for Kana-Biyik who also turned down the offer of a new contract at Le Havre – the same club that had Paul Pogba before he joined United's academy in 2009. He scored nine goals in 18 games for Le Havre's Under-19s side but didn't make a first-team appearance despite being named on the bench twice last season against Lille in Ligue 1 and Stade Briochin in the French Cup. The teenager, who was born in Paris and has played for France's youth teams, is the son of former Cameroon defender Andre Kana-Biyik who won 80 caps for his country and played for Le Havre in the 1990s. His uncle Francois, elder brother Jean-Armel and cousin Emilio have also played professionally. The signing of Kana-Biyik and decision to loan him out to Ineos-owned Lausanne is another example of a change in United's policy to identify and invest in some of Europe's top young talent. Leny Yoro, Chido Obi and Ayden Heaven are among the teenagers signed under Sir Jim Ratcliffe who said last year: 'I would rather sign the next Mbappe than spend a fortune buying success. It's not that clever buying Mbappe. Anyone could figure that one out. More challenging is to find the next Mbappe, next Jude Bellingham or next Roy Keane.'

Manchester United sign teenage forward Enzo Kana-Biyik, will go on loan
Manchester United have completed the signing of teenage forward Enzo Kana-Biyik after leaving Ligue 1 side Le Havre as a free agent. United will pay the French club a FIFA compensation scheme fee, usually a couple of hundred thousand pounds, calculated on his club and level. The France youth international will spend next season on loan at Swiss Super League side Lausanne-Sport, who finished fifth in the league last season and are also owned by INEOS. Advertisement Kana-Biyik, 18, made 16 appearances for Ligue 1's Le Havre U-19 team in the 2024-25 campaign, registering nine goals and one assist. His performances earned him two senior matchday squad inclusions but he remained on the bench and is yet to make his senior debut. Kana-Biyik made his debut for France's U-18 side in March and has made seven appearances. United have given Marcus Rashford, Antony and Jadon Sancho leave to return to pre-season training late, although Rashford has already reported back to the club. Their front line will look different next season regardless as Matheus Cunha signed from Wolverhampton Wanderers in June, and Bryan Mbuemo has told Brentford he wants a move to Old Trafford.
