10 wounded, including a child, in Israeli airstrikes on south Lebanon
The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that 10 Lebanese citizens were wounded Sunday night in Israeli airstrikes targeting the town of Bourj Rahal in the Tyre district and al-Zarariyah near Sidon, both in southern Lebanon. In a statement issued on Monday, Lebanon's Health Ministry confirmed that an Israeli airstrike on the southern town of Bourj Rahal left nine civilians wounded, while a separate Israeli strike on al-Zarariyah seriously injured a young girl, who was rushed to intensive care for treatment. Israeli warplanes intensified their assaults last night, launching an airstrike on the rugged outskirts of Bodai in western Baalbek District, then conducting two more strikes on the highland areas near Flawi in the same region. On the other hand, in southern Lebanon, Israeli occupation warplanes carried out an airstrike on the outskirts of the town of Bouslaiya, while also targeting the area between Ain Qana, Sarba, and Houmin el-Fawqa, followed by four consecutive airstrikes near the town of Irzay. Al Mayadeen's correspondent in southern Lebanon reported that Israeli forces advanced into the border town of Kfar Kila, penetrating nearly 400 meters into Lebanese territory, where they conducted bulldozing operations under the cover of occupation tanks providing security for the operation. Moreover, Lebanon's National News Agency reported that the Israeli forces, equipped with two bulldozers, crossed the border barrier and breached the Blue Line near the Shallhoub station in the town, adjacent to the Fatima Gate. Meanwhile, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that an Israeli force infiltrated the outskirts of Aita al-Shaab, as military movements continued along the entire southern border region. From the very first day of the ceasefire agreement, Israeli occupation forces have repeatedly violated the ceasefire agreement with Lebanon, disregarding all internationally brokered agreements. On a related development, Israeli occupation forces launched a series of drone strikes across southern Lebanon on Saturday, killing at least one person and injuring five others, according to Al Mayadeen's correspondent and Lebanese health officials. The Lebanese Ministry of Health confirmed that one civilian was killed and two others were wounded after an Israeli drone targeted a vehicle in the Saf al-Hawa area, in the Bint Jbeil district. Elsewhere, an Israeli drone struck a house on the outskirts of Shebaa, injuring one member of the family residing inside. In a separate strike, a drone targeted a vehicle in the town of Shaqra, also in the Bint Jbeil region. The Public Health Emergency Operations Center reported that the Israeli attack left two Lebanese critically injured, both of whom were transferred to intensive care units for emergency treatment.

One Lebanese citizen was killed, and five others were injured in an Israeli airstrike on the village of Nmairiyeh in South Lebanon, the Lebanese Health Ministry announced on Friday. Earlier today, our correspondent in South Lebanon reported that an Israeli drone dropped a bomb on a Pick-up vehicle before it detonated in the border village of Kfar Kila, while another drone dropped a bomb on the Al-Dhahira village. Al Mayadeen's correspondent also revealed that an Israeli infantry force invaded the southern border and detonated a single room built 800 meters into Lebanese territory. On Thursday, one person was martyred and two others were wounded after an Israeli drone struck a motorcycle in the town of al-Mansouri, in the Tyre District, South Lebanon, on Thursday, according to a statement by the country's Ministry of Health. An Israeli drone also struck commercial shops in Yuhmur al-Shaqif, a southern town in Lebanon's Nabatieh District, firing two missiles at the area. This comes as Israeli occupation forces continue to violate the ceasefire, persisting in their attacks by targeting villages and towns in South Lebanon and the Bekaa region, as well as the Southern Suburb of Beirut, while still occupying five strategic points in the south. 1 dead, 20 wounded after Israeli forces attack south Lebanon
Lebanese soldiers inspect a house that was hit by an Israeli strike in Nabatiyeh today. (AP pic) BEIRUT : Lebanon's health ministry said a woman was killed and 20 other people were wounded in Israeli strikes today in the country's south, as Israel's military said some raids targeted Hezbollah sites. Israel has kept up regular strikes on Lebanon, particularly in the south, since a Nov 27 ceasefire meant to end over a year of hostilities, including two months of all-out war that left Hezbollah severely weakened. 'The Israel enemy strike on an apartment in Nabatiyeh led to a preliminary toll of one woman killed' and 13 other people wounded, the ministry said in an updated statement carried by the official National News Agency. The NNA said an Israeli drone targeted the apartment. The agency earlier reported 'a wave of successive heavy strikes' in several other areas in the Nabatiyeh region that the health ministry said wounded seven people. An Israeli army statement said fighter jets struck a site that Hezbollah used 'to manage its fire and defence array in the area of the Beaufort Ridge', near Nabatiyeh and the Israel border. It said the site was 'part of a significant underground project that was completely taken out of use' by the raids. The military said it 'identified rehabilitation attempts made by Hezbollah beforehand and struck terror infrastructure sites in the area', calling the actions 'a blatant violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon'. Lebanese President Joseph Aoun in a statement condemned the strikes and said Israel continued 'to disregard regional and international resolutions and calls to stop the violence and escalation in the region', urging 'effective action from the international community'. Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam in a statement called the strikes 'a blatant violation of national sovereignty and the cessation of hostilities arrangements' and a threat to stability. Under the ceasefire deal, Hezbollah was to pull its fighters back north of the Litani river, some 30km from the Israeli border, leaving the Lebanese army and United Nations peacekeepers as the only armed parties in the area. Israel was required to fully withdraw its troops from the country but has kept them in five locations in south Lebanon that it deems strategic. In a letter to the United Nations requesting a one-year renewal of the mandate of the United Nations interim force in Lebanon which expires in August, the foreign ministry demanded 'Israel's withdrawal from all Lebanese territory it occupies and a stop to its ongoing violations'. Yesterday, Israeli strikes on south Lebanon killed two people, with the Israeli military saying it targeted Hezbollah operatives.

Lebanon says one killed, six wounded in Israeli strikes
Lebanon said one person was killed and six wounded on Saturday in a series of Israeli strikes in the south despite a ceasefire between Israel and militant group Hezbollah. An 'Israeli enemy drone strike on a vehicle' in the town of Bint Jbeil 'killed one person and wounded two,' Lebanon's health ministry said in a statement carried by the official National News Agency (NNA). The ministry later reported one person wounded in a drone strike on another car in the same town, and two others seriously wounded in a similar raid on a vehicle in nearby Shaqra. Earlier Saturday, the ministry reported that a separate Israeli drone strike wounded one person in Shebaa, elsewhere in the south, with NNA reporting that a house was targeted. Israel has kept up its bombardment of Lebanon since a November 27 ceasefire that sought to end more than a year of hostilities with Hezbollah including two months of all-out war that left the Iran-backed group severely weakened. On Thursday, an Israeli strike on a vehicle at the southern entrance of Beirut killed a man and wounded three other people, Lebanon said, as the Israeli army said it hit a 'terrorist' working for Iran. Under the ceasefire deal, Hezbollah was to pull its fighters back north of the Litani river, about 30 kilometers (20 miles) from the Israeli border, leaving the Lebanese army and United Nations peacekeepers as the only armed parties in the region. Israel was required to fully withdraw its troops from the country, but has kept them in five places it deems strategic. Israel has warned that it will keep striking Lebanon until Hezbollah has been disarmed.
