Controversy Is Sabrina Carpenter's ‘Best Friend' With Scandalized Reaction to New Album Cover
At this point, we should be conditioned to expect pop stars to behave in a controversial manner. And yet, when Sabrina Carpenter released the cover for her upcoming Man's Best Friend album, social media was up in arms about the provocative artwork, which features the singer/songwriter on all fours with her hair being grabbed by a faceless person. On the new Billboard Pop Shop Podcast, Katie & Keith are talking about the loud reaction to the album art — including the women of The View debating its feminist merits — and why the buzz plays directly into Carpenter's hands. Travis Kelce's Swift Delivery finishes strong as Lil Wayne stuns track with wild winning streak
Travis Kelce's Swift Delivery finishes strong as Lil Wayne stuns track with wild winning streak (Image via Getty) Travis Kelce and Lil Wayne are famous for football and rap. But this week, both became winners in a sport most fans didn't expect — horse racing. It wasn't a game or a concert that brought them into the spotlight. Something very different happened. And no, it's not about Taylor Swift either. On two separate tracks, in two different countries, both Travis Kelce and Lil Wayne celebrated major wins with their horses. Here's what really went down — and how both stars ended up surprising fans in the most unexpected way. Travis Kelce's Horse Swift Delivery wins in Canada On Saturday, June 22, 2025, Travis Kelce's horse named Swift Delivery won a big race at the Woodbine Racetrack in Ontario, Canada. The Kansas City Chiefs star, who is 35 years old and a three-time Super Bowl winner, became a proud owner of the winning horse alongside Team Valor International. Travis Kelce had bought a share in Swift Delivery back in August 2024. The horse is four years old, bred in Kentucky, and already had the name before Travis Kelce joined the team — so it's just a funny coincidence that it matches his girlfriend Taylor Swift's last name. Travis Kelce had first shown interest in owning a racehorse after attending the Kentucky Derby in 2024. On his New Heights podcast, he told his brother Jason Kelce, 'I had one of the best times ever at the Derby… It would be so fun to be part of a race.' Swift Delivery has now won three career races, and this win made Kelce's dream a reality. Lil Wayne's Horses win back-to-back races in California Just two days before Travis Kelce's horse won, rapper Lil Wayne, 42, had a huge moment in Los Alamitos, California. On Thursday, June 20, 2025, his horse Sixhoofsevenhoof won its second career race. The next day, on Friday, June 21, his other horse Punto Forty won its very first race in a maiden special weight category. Sixhoofsevenhoof was named after Lil Wayne's hit song 6 Foot 7 Foot and was bred in New York. With two wins in two days, Lil Wayne is quickly making a name for himself in the horse racing world too. Lil Wayne's Tha Carter VI debuts on six Billboard charts, earning the rapper his loftiest win on the ... More Top Streaming Albums list and his first smash on the Vinyl Albums roster. Washington/WireImage) Lil Wayne scored his first hit album in America more than a quarter-century ago, and ever since, he's remained one of the biggest names in hip-hop. The rap superstar continues to stand out as a massively popular artist as his new album Tha Carter VI debuts. The sixth installment in his semi-self-titled series opens inside the top 10 on half a dozen Billboard rankings this frame, and as it arrives, it brings the Grammy winner to peaks he's never reached before throughout his illustrious career. Lil Wayne Reaches a New Career Peak Tha Carter VI almost earns Wayne his first No. 1 on the Top Streaming Albums chart, but instead, it launches in the runner-up space. He's blocked from the summit only by I'm the Problem, Morgan Wallen's latest blockbuster. That lengthy project debuted at No. 1 a month ago and hasn't moved since. Tha Carter VI does manage to earn Wayne his first top 10 on the list of the most-streamed full-lengths in America. It beats his previously set high point of No. 15, which he reached alongside 2 Chainz on Welcome 2 Collegrove in 2023. Lil Wayne's First Vinyl Win The album is also a quick bestseller when it comes to wax records, as the set opens at No. 3 on the Vinyl Albums chart. Despite his incredible success over the years, Wayne had never before reached the vinyl-only tally in the U.S. Tha Carter VI opens behind only Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge by My Chemical Romance (No. 1) and Never Enough by Turnstile (No. 2). Tha Carter VI Debuts at No. 1 Tha Carter VI easily launches at No. 1 on both the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and Top Rap Albums rankings. Wayne earns his milestone tenth leader on the rap-only list and his eleventh on the more encompassing R&B/Hip-Hop tally. He just barely misses out on another champion on both the Billboard 200 and Top Album Sales chart, where Tha Carter VI blasts in at Nos. 2 and 3, respectively. Coincidentally, Wayne earns his lucky thirteenth top 10 on that pair of rosters as his latest full-length arrives.
