The Real Housewives of Miami star Lisa Hochstein has slammed castmate Larsa Pippen for allegedly 'hammering' her with text messages about Marcus Jordan while Hochstein was at her father's wake Throughout the first three episodes of RHOM season 7, Pippen repeatedly said she is upset that Hochstein's boyfriend, Jody Glidden, continued to socialize with Jordan after she and the basketball player-turned-entrepreneur broke up In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Hochstein suggested it was hypocritical of Pippen to complain about her alleged lack of support while she was mourning her father's deathThe Real Housewives of Miami's Lisa Hochstein is calling out her castmate Larsa Pippen for sending what she calls 'hurtful' and 'very upsetting' text messages during one of the 'worst times' of her life. In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Hochstein claims that while she was mourning her father's passing, Pippen, 50, was allegedly 'hammering' her with texts about her boyfriend, Jody Glidden, continuing to be friends with Pippen's ex, Marcus Jordan. 'It was so bad,' Hochstein, 42, says. 'Larsa was fighting with me and sending text messages back and forth. I was like, 'What are you doing?' I'm like, 'Please stop.' I had to ask her.' 'I'm like, 'Do you know what I'm doing here?'' Hochstein continues, noting that she 'got so mad' at Pippen that she 'sent her a picture of what was going on' at her dad's wake. 'I'm like, 'Look, this is what's going on with my life right now, and leave me alone.' And I don't think she even got it then,' Hochstein alleges. 'She kept on hammering and hammering and arguing." 'Put that aside for a second. When someone's going through something, rally and be there for your friend," she adds. 'It was just truly disappointing,' Hochstein says. 'Larsa is saying that I wasn't a good friend and I wasn't there for her through her breakup. Well, guess what? You're not there for me through my dad dying. Compare the two of those scenarios.' Hochstein's father, Roger, died on September 25, 2024, just months after they began reconnecting following years of estrangement. Glidden, 51, who has appeared on RHOM alongside Hochstein since their relationship began in early 2023, tells PEOPLE he was stunned by the timing and tone of the confrontation. "I found that unbelievable,' he says. 'I know when I lost my mom, I just got this big outpouring of support from all of my friends. I can't imagine being attacked at the same time. I was really shocked.' He adds, 'There's real life, and then there's this show, and I thought people realize there's no need to play it up anymore for the cameras because something in real life is happening." However, Pippen sees things differently. In her own interview with PEOPLE, she says: "I know that when Lisa was going through her hard time, she expected me to be there for her. She would call me all hours of the night. I would be on the phone with her until 2:00 A.M. We would be on cast trips, and I would be up with her all night while she cried. I rode the roller coaster with her of her going through her divorce, and I feel like for me, when I was going through this very public breakup, I don't feel like she was there for me at all. I feel like she was non-existent." A veteran tech entrepreneur and CEO, Glidden has partnered with Hochstein on her new business, SplitWell. The goal, Hochstein says, is to help reduce costs and conflicts for couples divorcing. 'It's something that's really my own, and I did it because I genuinely want to help people after the hell I went through with my divorce,' she explains. Hochstein's divorce from her ex-husband, Lenny Hochstein, 59, was finalized in November 2024 after 13 years of marriage. The pair share two kids — son, Logan, 8, and daughter, Elle, 3. 'I think she does an amazing job,' Glidden says. 'We have no lack of interest from investors. She's recruited amazing employees. It's been off to an amazingly fast start with tons of downloads and she's been kind of a force of nature with all of this.' Glidden adds that he's 'been really proud of her.' 'I was one of the investors as well, and I support her any way that I can,' he says. Season 7 of The Real Housewives of Miami started with a bang. Larsa Pippen accused Lisa Hochstein of being disloyal. The reason? Lisa's boyfriend, Jody Glidden, was still friends with Larsa's ex-boyfriend, Marcus Jordan. This horrific betrayal set Larsa off, and she blasted Lisa at Jody's birthday party. Larsa's fury was ignited when she saw a selfie of Jody hanging out with Marcus. In Larsa's mind, that is being a disloyal friend. However, Lisa has another take on why Larsa was so messy during the Season 7 RHOM premiere. 'I'm still in the feelings, and I'll tell you why. They broke up several times and got back together,' Lisa told Entertainment Tonight. 'So, I didn't even know that they broke up the final time until I saw it in the news. She didn't tell me like she said. Like literally, there was no communication like they broke up.' She continued, 'I didn't hear about it. But, yeah, it's not the way she says. And I wasn't hanging out with Marcus.' She added, 'You can't expect Jody and Marcus to, like, completely cut off their relationship. They met on the show. They shared this experience.' Then Lisa broke down the incident that set Larsa off. 'That was the reason they saw each other, because they have mutual friends. So, Jody ended up going to a place, and Marcus was there,' the RHOM star explained. 'He took a selfie, and that's it. End of story.' According to Lisa, she hadn't been in touch with Larsa 'for months' before Season 7 started filming. 'We had one phone call about her asking me why I didn't say Happy Birthday. And I said, 'I did say Happy Birthday. I texted you, Happy Birthday,'' Lisa stated. 'And it was like a whole thing. And maybe that was her way of starting a problem … for a storyline.' Well, it isn't out of the realm of possibility that Larsa targeted Lisa for a storyline. After all, she previously feuded with Dr. Nicole Martin and Guerdy Abraira. RHOM's Larsa Pippen Reveals Real Problem With Lisa Hochstein
Season 7 of The Real Housewives of Miami featured the friendship breakdown between Larsa Pippen and Lisa Hochstein. When Larsa and her boyfriend, Marcus Jordan, broke up, Larsa demanded loyalty. She didn't want Lisa and Lisa's boyfriend, Jody Glidden, to socialize with Marcus. Unfortunately, Marcus and Jody share friends in common, so this was a bit of an ask. Still, Larsa slammed Lisa for not maintaining complete control of Jody and his social life. Now, Larsa is sharing all the other ways that Lisa has disappointed her. Of course, Larsa let Lisa know that she was there for her during her messy divorce from Dr. Lenny Hochstein. 'With this past breakup of mine, I needed her to be a friend,' Larsa told Parade. 'It just sucks when you are there for someone and it's not reciprocated. I felt really hurt by it all.' She continued, 'When my friends are down and out, I am so there for them. I try to do more than I normally would, because I feel like they need it. I can't relate … it's hurtful when other people don't reciprocate the way that I do,' Larsa added. According to Larsa, newbie housewife Stephanie Shojaee is already one of her friends. 'I love Stephanie. She's one of my closest friends. I knew that she would hit it off with most of the girls,' Larsa stated. 'We're very comfortable with each other, and I think when you add a new person to the mix, it definitely changes the dynamics.' Larsa explained that she asked Lisa and Jody not to stay friends with Marcus now that they've broken up, 'I don't want blogs to say that my friend is hanging out with my ex, who is publicly bashing me" before adding, "My loyalty is to Lisa.' 'Lisa and I started to get along. We made progress," she said. But, she added that during their last night in Milan, Jody allegedly became "so crazy,' and told Lisa he doesn't want her to talk to Larsa anymore. Larsa then explained to the group of women that she then took Lisa aside and told her, 'I love you. I want to make amends with you" before claiming, "He's using you. He's not good for you.'
